uisforukelele answered Sunday August 12 2007, 11:14 am: i'm 16. it depends on the people, honestly. so that's your decision to make. if i were 14, i wouldn't date a 16 year old. and i'm 16 now, and i wouldn't date a 14 year old if you paid me. it depends on the maturity level. if you've got an immature 16 year old with a mature 14 year old then maybe, but i like to think that i'm more mature than a 14 year old so it wouldn't work out anyway. it's your decision, that was just my little scenario. The 14 year old in the situation could be taken advantage of though, he/she may be unexperienced in relationships in comparison to the 16 year old.
The problem with age comes when one is 18 and the other is younger.
ductape_n_roses answered Sunday August 12 2007, 5:37 am: In my opinion,I don't think so as long as intentions/reasons are pure.
I have a 16yr old guy friend dating a 14yr old girl. So, I don't think so. I mean, age shouldn't really be a barrier. And it really shouldn't matter. What should matter in dating someone is if they have the right intention and right reasons to date you. Not just because he wants to get in your pants or take advantage of you. Not saying that he. Trying to point out that ..ahh never mind.
