My best friend can't stand to be single. She just moved to a new city for a job, so I know she is kind of lonely but she is fallen in with a guy who was fooling around with her very heavily while he was still with his girlfriend of two years. When I went to visit her a few weeks ago he didn’t exactly make a good impression on me. I was there for three days and I never saw him sober, I saw him give a lap dance to two other girls and cuddle with another, and although I was friendly and trying to get to know him better he didn't just ignore me, he was flat out rude to me. I have a hard time to believe he'd treat the best friend so shabbily (or do all the other jackassy things I saw him do) if he was really serious about her.
Now whenever I talk to her all she ever wants to talk about is how wonderful he is or bad-mouth his girlfriend. I'm sick to death of hearing her swoon over this awful guy and bad mouth the girl he is cheating on! Of course she is suspicious and needy. I wonder why she’d feel that way? Maybe because he is cheating on her!
My friend says I’m not being supportive of her and that if I can’t just be happy for her she doesn’t want to talk to me anymore. Is there anyway I can let her know that I don't have a problem with her being happy with this guy but I'm not going to lie and pretend he is prince charming when he clearly isn't? Also, how can I explain to her that bad mouthing the girl he is cheating on with her is just plain rotten and bitchy?
I’m not very impressed with her right now, but she is still my friend...
Just tell her all of this. She may not understand now, but in a while she will find out about him, and she'll forgive you and realize you were looking out for her best interest. Sometimes things have to get bad before they can get better

It totally depends on the guy, but from personal experience, my boyfriend prefers it shaved. I have too sensitive skin though, so i just trim. It's always easier to compromise!

im 13 and i wanna be a lifeguard when im 16. i'm gona pratice swimming and get better, but i want to know like whaat you have to do on the lifeguard test like to get your licence, like what do you do, like run, stuff like that.

you swim, do CPR, and rescue breathing, as well, you do written and practical exams where they evaluate your knowledge on the topic of lifeguarding skills. You need too know everything about first aid, like "reds" and "warts" and what they stand for, how to treat broken limbs, and seizure victims, and heart attack victims, stroke, and all that.
ALSO
You have to swim a LOT of laps for endurance. And you have to get a brick from the bottom of the pool, about 10 - 12 feet deep or something.

Yes i do! my ex cheated on his girlfriend at least 3 times, once with me with out telling me he had a girlfriend, but she kept giving him more chances, and he just kept moving around from girl to girl. I do not believe in second chances when it comes to cheating. You'll just get screwed over!
I'm a women age 20 i've been with two men in my teen life, i found out i was bi in the age 18. i hated it and i wish i never had feelings for my best friend. we both knew each other for 7 years, and i've always had feelings for her. in our senior year at high school i told her that i liked her, but i didnt want a relationship with her if she had the same feelings. she didnt respond but was shocked. i worte her a note the next day telling her why she seem alright with my likings to her, she didnt write back. for the whoile five years i ignor my feelings, we still hang out and we both have a great time with each other. but lately i see her flirting with me, laugh at every joke i say, leans on me for no reson and she loves teasing me.(she told me that)
i ask my guy friend about this and he said she might like you. she trun down three men who ask her out, she came to me and told me. then i wrote a note telling her my feelings are still strong with her. she didnt write back but she called me at midnight. (she never did that before in my life i know her) we talk for two hours but not about the note.

we are both women and best friends, if she wants to be with me will it last? what if we break up will we still be friends?

Yes this did happen to me with my first boyfriend, and we're still friends, and he's now dating my other good friend. As long as it's a mutual break up, then it should be fine.

You need to talk to her to her face. She can always ignore, or throw out a note, but face to face you can't get away from it. If she does feel the same way, you should try for a romantic relationship. It would be dificult to be best friends when you know you're both in love with each other, which could in fact hurt your relationship as friends. If she doesn't feel the same way, and you do not purse a romantic relationship, then things should be fine, she already knows about your feelings from your notes, so there should be no more shock to her about this.
i can't tell you if it's going to last, but it never will last if you don't try.

Probably about a 25, but it all depends on the make and style of the jeans, but for sure, first try a size 25!

Definetly scent, i love a guy who smells good, (I've followed a guy through a store to just smell him.) But ya, a personality also has to match the scent. And smile. whether it's a good smile or not, show the teeth, and it shows you have confidence. A nice build is a bonus, but not necessary. It's ALL Attitude!!!!!!

I love hollister. Torn mini skirts with uggs and leg warmers and a cute sweater is my fave outfit. But a lot of people I dont pull off the "prep" look? Is that even possible? Ugh, and why do people even CARE what I wear..is it really their business to tell me what I should and should not wear.
You should never wear what others expect you to wear. If you like it, that's all that matters. never try to follow trends. and be your own person. Just wear what ever you feel comfortable in!

well,im really small (4"11) im 13,and i think i'd be cool if i was a cheerleader,because i can help out the team and stuff.but im scared at what people will think,its not that im punk or goth or anything like that,its just that stupid cheerleader label. i HATE it. bleh. but i still wanna try out..im kinda afaid that my friends wont accept me,but i thnk cheerleading will help me meet new people...and have more fun + give me more to do,so,how can i be confident about this? also do you need prior knowledge for this stuff,its only 8th grade...or is it?
You shouldn't care what your friends think, and i'm sure you've heard this many times, but if they're your friends they'll accept you for who you are...etc.....but go for it, i cheerlead and it's great, and my friends put the label on me, but it's not bad. I'm a cheerleader, and that's that, once we leave the cheering area, there is no more label. GO FOR IT!!!!!!!!!!!
The guy that I’ve fancied for quiet a while now recently hooked up with this new girl in out class. To be honest she is fun and nice and they make a nice couple but a few days ago we had a school disco and I just couldn’t help but feel jealous. We’ve never been close but I always wished we were and watching the two of them dance to the last song which was the only slow song I realized that I really want to be in her shoes. The next day some of the girls were telling her that he told one of his friends that he would sleep with her when she is ready and apparently he was very nice and considerate about it. At that moment I just wished I were his first one and then got thinking about it. I even thought of trying to get like friendly with him so to break them up but now I feel guilty for even thinking it, because it’s something that I consider low and cruel especially since I think they are a good couple. So now I just don’t know what to do, on one hand I want to be with him on the other I don’t see how I could be with him by playing fair. What should I do?
There is absolutly nothing you can do. It's too late, and you should have made a move earlier. You'll just have to wait and see if they break up. I've beeen waiting 3 years for a guy to break up with another girl, whom i think is totally wrong for him, but anyhow, it's too late!!!

You're definetly short, but so are many other girls. Height shouldn't matter, i'm short, i'm only 5'1 and 17, so don't worry, it's a good thing, you just have to realize it!

Well, if you meant it as a fate, then she has every right to be angry esp, that he said yes, but if you didn't mean it as a date, and just hang out as friends, then tell her that, and make sure he knows that too, COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO EVERYTHING AND WILL SOLVE MANY PROBLEMS!!!!!

Talk to him and say, something like i really like you and i was hoping we could be boyfriend/girlfriend, type thing, There's Nothing wrong with a girl asking a guy out, it shows you have courage, and he'll probably admire you for it. Go for it!

I told him to talk to my cousin because she always knows everything, but he wants an answer from me. What do I do?
First of all, what on earth would make you think he should talk to your cousin. This is probably something private between the two of you, and of course he would want an answer from you. How's you Cousin supposed to know if you're ready.
Second off, don't worry about kissing him. Just kiss him, it's not like you're losing your virginity or your soul or something out there. If you're scared you won't kiss right, well, he won't care...He'll just be happy he's kissing you. Get Over it and get some Sense!

I'm a 17 year old male and I've been seeing this girl (20 female) for a while, and she's really cool. She's really easy to talk to and I just generally enjoy being with her. We had a conversation about smoking and drinking (both of which I am vehemently opposed to) and she told me that she never smokes OR drinks, which was a huge part of my attraction to her.
I found out though, through her telling me, that she was at a party and had a few drinks, and smoked a couple of cigarettes... Now I don't know what to say, because I want to tell her how I feel about that (I don't associate myself with people that don't respect themselves enough to avoid things like this) but we're not really going steady or anything like that, so would it be weird for me to express my feelings towards a subject, or is it not my place?
Definetly talk to her. It's always nice to know someone is concerned about you. Just be sure that when you say something, it doesn't come out like you are trying to controll her or something, just state that you are worried about her turning this into an addiction etc...

My best friend and I always go shopping at the mall together, but there`s been a problem lately. My friend always wants us to match & it's starting to get annoying because I want my own style. For example: We both were shopping together & saw the same purses. We ended up buying the same one`s but in different colors, and now my friend wants to make a habit of this and buy matching purses for every season like a fall purse, winter purse, etc. This friend & I went to the mall this past Sunday [ Yesterday ] and she saw what I had picked out to buy, it was like a tshirt and a pair of jeans, and then she picked out the same one`s. She DID ask if I was okay with her buying the same thing`s as me and since I was on the spot, I said yes. Well now I don`t really want to have the same thing`s as my friend, because I want to be an individual, not a twin!! I`m not sure what I should do or say, because I would feed bad asking my friend to take back her purchases and I don`t want to take back mine. So what I`m asking, is, what should I do to stop the matching in the future? Please Help!!
If you politely say, no, sorry, i would prefer if we didn't match our clothes, she would probably understand, Tell her that you want your own style, and she doesn't have to return her purchases already and neithor do you, put the tee-shir on with different jeans, alter it somehow to make it your own, and try not to wear it on the same day. If she's really your friend, she'll understand. If she doesn't, then find a new shopping buddy :)

ok so i may sound stupid, but here it goes.
there is this kid on my Cross Country team who is AMAZING! he is extremely cute, athletic, and nice. buttttttt he's a junior and i'm only a freshman, and my selfesteme is low to begin with, so it's like why would he ever notice me.

Sounds to me like you are more into this guy's looks, and so if i were you, i wouldn't do anything about it, and i would stick with the other guy. If you do decide otherwise, though, stop putting yourself down and force your self esteem up. it's only a 2 year difference anyways, so if i were you, like i said, i would stick with the semi-relationship, and turn it into a real relationship :)

How do you know if you're falling in love?
I know its supposed to be something you "just know" but honestly, .. how would I "just know?" Is it some sort of feeling?
You'll just know. You'll feel special when you're around themm, you'll wanna be with them, it's hard to explain, but it something that you will just know and feel it in your heart.
