Short or Tall?

Question Posted Tuesday October 24 2006, 8:35 pm

My cousin is 12 and is half a foot taller than me. Most people at school are taller than me, but I never seemed to mind or pay attention to it until my cousin moved into the state. I am 14 and am 5 foot. Am I short or is everyone else just tall? Please be honest!

You're short. Lol.
I'm kinda tall though... I just turned 15 a week ago, and I'm 5'8.

It honestly all depends. Some people are born short and some people are born tall. I didnt get my growth spurt until I was probably 14, and I only got to 5 foot 5 and im 17! lol. So I'd say that 5 foot at age 14 is good. You dont stop growing until you are 21 anyways, of course it wont be as noticable but you still dont stop until then. Dont be so self conscious about your height, its really not that big of a deal. Your cousin probably just got different genes and that may be as tall as she will get, and you might exceed her. Just wait and see =]

I would say that it is a bit short. However, you should learn to embrace who you are and make the most out of what you have.

You're definetly short, but so are many other girls. Height shouldn't matter, i'm short, i'm only 5'1 and 17, so don't worry, it's a good thing, you just have to realize it!

That is kind of short. But, you may not even be completely done growing yet, depending on how early you developed. I'm also short, and it really isn't all that bad. Look at the bright side, you can date boys that are any height and you never have to worry about being taller than them. :]

Well, yea your short. The average height for a woman is 5'4. But don't worry, I used to be insucure about my height (5'8, at only 13 years old!) but now I Love it. It makes me stand out as well as your height makes you. hope I helped.
