I was browsing people's columns today and looking at the feedback I saw one that was rated a 1 and the person wrote your wrong he aint a pedophile your a bitch or something along those lines. I read what was wrote to her and she answered the question being asked very good. Why do people rate you a 1? I can understand if it is BAD advice, but when you ask for advice and rate a 1 most of the time it's because its something that they just didnt want to hear. 5's and feedback coming your way if you give me your thoughts on this.

The person was just very immature. If you see this, you can go to http://www.advicenators.com/abuse.php and report it. Now they have a link next to the rating so that it's easier to file a report.

Ok well I just started using tampons and I wanna know if you can wear a tampon in the shower? B/c i gotta take a shower but I like just put a tampon in an hour ago and I don't wanna waste it.

You can take a shower with a tampon in, but there's no reason to. It all goes down the drain. =)

Nope. Technically, your body is ready for sex when you get your period. That doesn't mean that you're emotionally ready for sex, however. The tampon would break your hymen, which is painful, and then you wouldn't have to go through that pain when you had sex. But it will probably be awkward and/or painful your first time anyway. =)

My sister just had a baby and he husband's last name is Wood. Well, my sister has always wanted to name her daughter "Holly". So we just need a few HONEST opinions here.

Yes, extremely. I think she could compromise with Molly, but I think that will still get some snickers. My advice...pick another name! Though she could still use Holly as a middle name, if she's so in love with it.

I had a weird dream one night, that my dad was supposed to have sex with me. I don't know, it was some sort of a medical issue that he needed to. What could this mean???

It doesn't mean anything. I had a dream once that I was a Nazi/slave owner/child molester. But I assure you that I am none of those. I've also had dreams about a serial killer chasing me, and there were these rats that appeared wherever somebody had died and they kept glaring at me and they were SO EVIL (but really cute, too). Dreams mean absolutely nothing! Although I've heard it said that when you have a sexual dream about someone, it is a sign that you want to be closer to them. So maybe you just want to have some quality time with your father. Don't worry about it, though.

15 F Chicago and i'm always hearing disrespectful things about President Bush and how he is so insuboordinate(to sum it all up becuase i probably cannot swear on here) so basically my question is..why do so many people hate Bush? I mean he is our president and its a hard thing to do, i suppose? Just opinions guys. Thanks so much.

Well I know why I dislike him. This is based on my personal beliefs. I'm not trying to force these beliefs on you--I respect yours, and ask that you respect mine. Better get some snacks, cause this is gonna be long.

-The war. He sends so many Americans--many of them barely even adults--off to die. For no apparent reason. He says it's because these are freedom hating people who attacked America, which isn't true. A terrorist group from Afghanistan attacked America, Iraq had nothing to do with it. And why hasn't he sent HIS children to die? He has no problem doing it with OTHER people's kids.

-Abortion. I think this is a stupid topic, politicians just use it to get people to vote. It's an emotional issue; mention it in a room full of people with diverse beliefs some time and see what happens. But as a woman, I have made the decision to never be pregnant. If, in ten years or so, I have a stable enough life and feel the desire for children, I will adopt them. This is my personal decision--but Bush doesn't think I should be able to make it. He wants women to take care of their bodies so that we can protect the eggs in our ovaries that may one day become babies. I'm not a baby-machine. If I was pregnant right now, and there was a chance that giving birth would kill me, according to Mr. Bush, I should take that chance. And while I have no problem taking a bullet for someone I love, I am not going to kill myself for an unborn child when I have the option of living.

-Gay marriage. Like abortion, this is a silly, emotional topic. But it's one that really means a lot to me, because I just happen to be gay. Well, bi, actually, but for the purpose of this explanation it's the same thing. Bush, and many people, believe that two people of the same sex can't really love each other--that it is mere sexual attraction and nothing more. There is no nice, clean way to put this--that is bullshit. I have been in love with another female before, and it WAS real love, or atleast as real as teenage love can be. So, what? Are my feelings not real? Who is he to tell me what I feel? I'm the one feeling them, not him. There's an organization called Focus on the Family--now I don't know this for a fact, but I bet you anything that Bush supports them 100%. Their main point is that "gay marriage denies a child of a parent." I told my mother this, and she became visibly ill. Her parents divorced, you see, and she spent several years with one parent (her father). This is obviously the fault of two men who lived five million miles away from her who, after being in a relationship together for six years, decided that they wanted to buy a house and maybe adopt a couple of children. By the way, that last part was sarcasm.

-He's very Holier-than-thou. Literally. Bush often speaks about what a great Christian he is. I have no problems with Christians--most of the people I love are Christians! But he actually believes that God speaks to him. God told him to declare war on Iraq. This nation, which was founded by a group of people who had been persecuted for their religious beliefs and wanted to worship freely, is a CHRISTIAN country, according to our President. It's "one nation under GOD" (never mind that that part of the pledge was added with the intent of forcing Christianity on people--it wasn't in the original, but I digress) so if somebody doesn't believe in God, they're not American. Which brings me to another point--remember when the war started? Bush told protestors to stop protesting, because it's "un-American". Open a history book sometime, Georgie, there would BE NO AMERICA if a group of rebels didn't decide one night that they'd had enough of it and were going to protest. Anyhow. Yes. Bush is a great Christian. Bush, like Jesus, sits at home playing golf while people are starving and getting murdered and dying in massive hurricanes. And by the way, that was sarcasm too.

Anyway, that's why I dislike him. One thing I will say for the guy is that atleast he loves his wife, unlike the previous President. Sorry to get so personal, but I wanted to answer your question thoroughly. Like I said, these are just my personal views. I don't care if you agree with them or not, I'm just explaining myself. Whoo, that was fun, I haven't poured out my soul like that in a good long time. Thanks for the opporunity. ;-)

I was looking at my feedback but I forgot which question I answered so I went back and checked. As I was looking I noticed someones answer and I didn't know if it was true.

I don't want to embarass anybody so i'll just describe the situation. One girl stated that she hasn't had her period in 4 months and was wondering what she should do. Then this one girl answered:
If you have oral sex then there might be a chance of pregnancy, but if not, then it is probably just still irregular. It takes up to two years for a period to regulate, and if you have had your period for over two years, then you should tell your mom or a doctor.

Is it true you can get pregnat from oral sex?

I saw that too and I'm wondering where in the Universe that person was taught about sex. No, you can't get pregnant from oral sex. The uterus is in no way connected to your digestive system, it's not like you can swallow sperm and a baby will grow inside of you. The only way that could happen was if you wiped semen from your mouth and then put your finger in your vagina. But other than that, it's impossible.

I love my best friend but I just don't get why people are drawn to her. Guys, girls, even little kids.

Well, she's pretty and everything so I guess I understand why all guys love her. But still, other girls and little kids die to be around her as well.

I went with her to pick up her contacts yesterday and while we were waiting, she was reading a magazine and a little girl just came up to her and after 10 min, the girl didn't even want to leave with her mom!

It happens ALL the time. At school, at the mall, the movies, EVERYWHERE. People just come up to her, they don't even know her, and start talking to her. I don't get it??

Yes, you should see a doctor. This is a symptom of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I suggest you see an endocrinologist, because any other doctor might just give you birth control for it, which doesn't do much. I suggest you read up on it, too, in case you have any other symptoms.

does getting a blood test hurt?

A little bit. It's just a pinch, really. I can't look at the needle because it freaks me out. Looking away helps a lot. Honestly, I think that getting your blood pressure taken (you know, when they wrap that thing around your arm and make it insanely tight?) hurts more than getting the blood taken out with a needle. It's just a little prick and then it's over.

Okay, first of all--stop thinking that boobs=love. They don't. You don't want a guy who likes you for your boobs. It hasn't destroyed your life at all. If you think that nobody wants you because of this, you're wrong. You haven't had a boyfriend because of your attitude, is my guess. Have confidence in yourself and go out there and get a guy. There are PLENTY of women with small breasts who lead perfectly happy, normal lives AND get boyfriends. Example? My best friend has no breasts to speak of, and she's had three boyfriends. Now granted the first two weren't the best guys on the planet and I don't even know about this current one, but that's because she makes bad choices, not because her breasts are small. My other friend has rather large breasts, and has been single for eighteen years. Seriously, okay, just get over it. YOU are worth much more than what you have on your chest.

First you get an account, and then you go to http://www.youtube.com/my_videos_upload and the instructions there are pretty simple, just type in a title and description, enter your category, find the file and hit 'upload'.

Forget about all of them. Your so-called friends? Yeah. Real friends wouldn't get mad at you for something that stupid. It's your life, not theirs. Nope. You do it when you're ready. But what do you mean "nobody wants to"? Are you just asking strangers for casual sex? Don't do that! Get a relationship! Sex is something to be done with somebody that you love and trust, don't have sex just for the sake of having sex.
