BlackPearls answered Friday June 23 2006, 8:44 pm: You cannot get pregnant by oral sex. This must be scary for oyu. I'd be scared to. Your period is most likely irregular. If this keeps up more then 5 and a half months go see your doctor. Also, check google and type in irregular period occurency's maybe that will give oyu some useful info.

cailoisa answered Friday June 23 2006, 7:09 pm: There are two important questions here: 1) How long have you had your period?, and 2) Has it been regular before? I can't be too helpful without this information, but I will try.
I started my period when I was 12, and I was incredibly irregular until I had a baby when I was 18. For a few months it would be like a normal period, and then I wouldn't have it for 4-6 months, and then I would have my period again for an entire month.
Most likely, this is nothing to worry about. If it's normal for you to have irregular periods then there should be no problems. However, anytime you have a health concern you should see a doctor. Schedule an appointment with a gynocologist. If you've never had one, this is a great time to start and you can bring up your concerns at the same time.
As a final note, I must refute an answer below. Oral sex has nothing to do with becoming pregnant. As long as no genital to genital contact has taken place (i.e. no exchange of "fluids" in those areas) there is virutally no chance that you are pregnant.
isis answered Friday June 23 2006, 6:22 pm: If your periods were regular before this you should see a doctor as soon as you can, there could be a few reasons for this, but only a doctor will be able to confirm this. If they were erratic, it could be that they have not settled to a pattern yet. If this is the case, go to your doctor if you have not had your period within the next month as there may be problem.
In response to other advice you have had, you cannot become pregnant from oral sex, the areas are totally separate and do not connect at any point.
BR000TAAL answered Friday June 23 2006, 4:59 pm: If you have oral sex then there might be a chance of pregnancy, but if not, then it is probably just still irregular. It takes up to two years for a period to regulate, and if you have had your period for over two years, then you should tell your mom or a doctor. operation_waffle answered Friday June 23 2006, 4:53 pm: If you just started your period this may happen- your period will take a while to come. But I think 4 months is a little bit too long!
If you haven't been active in sports lately and you usually are that may affect it.
I would definetly see a doctor, it maybe be serious! I HIGHLY doubt that it is serious but you may have an infection that might have to be checked out!
tasuki answered Friday June 23 2006, 4:53 pm: Yes, you should see a doctor. This is a symptom of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I suggest you see an endocrinologist, because any other doctor might just give you birth control for it, which doesn't do much. I suggest you read up on it, too, in case you have any other symptoms.
Basketball3846 answered Friday June 23 2006, 4:50 pm: Well, if you have had your period for longer than a year, then yes you should go and see a doctor because you could have some type of infection going on.
If you have just started getting your period, then it is normal for it to stop for a while and then come back.
IhAvEaNsWeRs2104 answered Friday June 23 2006, 4:42 pm: That seems weird that you are a virgin and you haven't had your period for 4 months. Yes you should go to the doctor because I don't really know what it could be. And if you don't want to go to the doctors the best thing to do is to tell one of your parents and see what they have to say about it.
