YOU are not ready for sex untill you feel ready, want to, are mature enough to take precaution, and handle the possible consequences (physical and mental) of what you're doing, and are with someone you are COMPLETELY comfortable with. tasuki answered Saturday June 24 2006, 6:45 pm: Nope. Technically, your body is ready for sex when you get your period. That doesn't mean that you're emotionally ready for sex, however. The tampon would break your hymen, which is painful, and then you wouldn't have to go through that pain when you had sex. But it will probably be awkward and/or painful your first time anyway. =) [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]
SoInToYoUx0x answered Saturday June 24 2006, 6:31 pm: nope that isnt true. the way someone came up with this i can understand bc why someone would say that because when you use a tampon you can pop your cherry and it will make a penis go in easier..but it isnt true that because you use a tampon you are ready for sex.

Jeanettessn answered Saturday June 24 2006, 4:20 pm: First of all, one has to keep in mind that penis sizes do vary by far. A tampon tends to be must smaller and thinner than the average penis. Your body may be maturing, but you have to keep your mind in your thoughts of well. You must ask yourself questions such as "do I love my partner?" "does he love me" "am I prepared for everything that will change when I embark into a sexual relationship?" "Do I know about birth control and protection against AIDS and other diseases?" Surely, a tampon has nothing to do with this. [ Jeanettessn's advice column | Ask Jeanettessn A Question ]
BLONDShorty answered Saturday June 24 2006, 3:31 pm: well, a penis is like a lot bigger than a tampon! so, i guess it could mean that ur not afraid i guess but it doesn't mean ur body is ready for sex. a tampon is a lot smaller [ BLONDShorty's advice column | Ask BLONDShorty A Question ]
clearlypink428 answered Saturday June 24 2006, 2:48 pm: um no!- anyone can wear a tampon comfortably. its all in if you do it right. and your body isnt just 'ready' for sex. its all in your heart and your mind. it has nothing to do with your body.
