hi katie. i was wondering if you knew a good site that you can enter the food you eat, and it shows you the amount of calories you intake. im really interested on mine. and i was also wondering.. so i eat really good most of the time. i dotn drink pop at all. and i dont have candy often.. but i was wondering is it okay if you just have like.. say a bowl of ice cream sometimes... how much can it effect you. thanks. youve helped me before

Of course enjoy yourself! Chocolate, penutbuttter.. my favorites. Sure, i miss them, but i let myself have them. You can have a bowl of ice cream if you want. It won't affect you just as long as you only have it in modernation. Like, i would say (this isnt professional info just my personal intake) that once a week is fine. I'm sure if you work out with really intense sports everyday then twice a week is fine too. But, you don't want to make it a habbit. Mostly, I aim for once a week or as little as possible. Make sure to try serving size too. I;m sure if you ate healthy and then had a HUGE bowl of icecream that it would affect you that much, but you dont want it to affect you at all, so stick to serving size, which is a 1/2 cup. So maybe 2 scoops or one big one? Add fruits to make it healthy too! =)

heyy. okay so lately ive been reallly reallly craving sweets and junk food. i want to eat healthier. but its like, it takes so much to fill me up. im not fat, 117 pounds and im 15. what do you eat? but still i want to change my diet. thanks!

Alright, so heres what I'll eat on a good, normal day.

Breakfast- usually 1 1/2 cups of whole grain cereal (Wheaties, Total, Chex, Crispix, Kashi, Cheerios) with 3/4 cups of skim milk. I get a serving of fruit in.. like an apple, banana, cup of cherries/berries, etc.

Lunch- a turkey sandwhich on 2 slices of whole wheat bread, 2 slices of turkey, lettuce or spinich, half slice of deli cheese, tomatoe.. usually I'll press it on a Foreman Grill so its warm and melty. Then I'll probably have a handful or two of carrots and maybe some fruit or no fat yogurt. My lunches change the most, somedays i'll have dinner left overs, maybe i'l make myself an omlette or a pb&j, most meals are healthy.


Snack- fruit, whole wheat chips or granola bar, nuts, veggies.. whatever I'm hunrgy for.


Dinner- most times, when I can (rarely because Im going to be busy wth school/cheer), I make dinner with my mom. Whatever it is usually includes whole grains, veggies, and some type of meat. It's most of the time healthy. You can find any recipe. You can even make burgers and make them healthy! Just find a recipe thats a healthy one, and it will be both healthy and tastey. I make turkey burgers and my whole family lovess them.


miscellaneous- some days I'll be bad and have desserts like a little chocolate or a spoon of natural penut butter.. or go crazy and have a few bowls of cereal =/. I don't eat healthy alot of the time, well I do eat healthy, but since Christmas/Thanksgiving was around.. I ate really crappy. So this year I'm getting back on track. If I do over eat, its healthy food, which makes me feel good hahah atleast its not as bad for me.


Also- if I have stenous exercise or practice, i'll eat more so I don't burn off more than I eat, which isn't a problem because I usually do eat enuogh to keep me at the same weight.

These seem to me like good options. Anything "light, fat free, low cal" sounds good. Also, put skim milk/soy milk to keep it extra healthy. Looking at the juice blends, if you got a tall, they seem okay, they have alot of vitimans which is good. Tea also is probabluy good, Im not sure about the tea lattes though. Hope this helped! Well, to get rid of any fat you have to burn it off. That means, cardiooo! fun.. i know. haha, try running, biking, and just getting active like dancing around or anything. That will burn calories, and eventually fat. Then, you can start doing sit up and other stomach/ab exercises to sshow off your muscles. Heres some..

According to that, you are over weight. But thats just body mass index, so it depends on your body fatness. You might be all muscle? It's possible to loose 20 lbs if you really try, eat healthy, and get physical activity. If you cut out 500 calories from what you eat, then you'll loose a pound a week.. or Ive heard/read that. You should be able to do it. Try running or bike riding, its a great way to burn calories! Hope this helped

Do any cardio. Cardio burns calories, which will help loose weight and burn any fat. So if you don't like the size of your body, it should help you slim down. Buy a cardio tape, i have one and i loveee doing it. It's not tiering, alot easier than making myself run, and i like it. Bike riding is great cardio too, espically for the legs.



With cardio, burning fat will let your muscles show more. Then, you'll be able to see your shape so all those crunches will count! Keep up with crunches, running, lift 5 lb weights even. Anything sculpting. Look at any of these...

For a good diet.. well first don't think of it as a diet, just a healthy life style. You should stop drinking pop, diet or not. Diet pop is not the best for you either. It's best to just not have it at all. It's great that you love fruits because you should have a serving of fruit for breakfast, lunch, and a snack.. or other times of the day. Pork i believe is more of a fatty meat, not as lean as chicken or turkey (very good for you), so if you don't eat it is not going to be bad. Fish is really good for you (tuna, fresh salmon) and lean meats (like I said, turkey, chicken.. if you see something that says 90/10 on a package it means 90% lean 10% fat, so keep that in mind). Fruits and veggies should be eaten at every meal.. or atleast tried to! Fruits are easy to get in your meals because you can eat them alone and they taste great, but not a whole lot of people love raw red pepers or brocoli, so sneek in veggies by putting them on your sandwich or making meals with lots of them. Watch your carbs, make meals with whole grain/wheat stuff because it is alotttt better for you than processed grains/flour. I think that i just told you alot, and I could go on too, but for now just try that stuff. I'm sure you'll see resultsif you follow this, including being active! okay, so honestly, ive never made out with a guy. but me and my boyfriend are planning to on new years for our new years kiss! and well i honestly dont have a long tounge i guess? haha. it sticks out like an inch maybe a little less. and im worried that that will affect our make-out and make it seem like im a bad kisser. but anyhow, will it affect that im a good kisser i guess?

Thats a cute idea hah. You shuoldn't worry that much about it. Even if you did have a "normal" length tongue you could still be bad. I don't think it matters thatttt much. Like, its more about technique sorta. You can have a super long tongue and still suck because you cna like choke the person haha. I had had an eating disorder on and off for 7 years. Right now i am 5'6 and 105 and im 18 and i just turned 18. i really to lose weight.. maybe only like 5lbs. I know from my height and weight, i sound thin, but i do have a couple pounds i could lose. Im not one of those people who thinks theyre enormous when they aren't, but i really want to lose weight. Listen, iknow what your going through. You said it yourself that you have an eating disorder. If you didn't say that I might be yelling (well, over the computer) to you saying that you should gain weight instead of loose it. But you have an eating disorder.. and i can't just tell you to eat, or not exercise or I can't tell you anything really. I know what your going through/ been through. Listen though, don't loose any more weight. I bet your body fat is like, 15 and your probably a twig. The lbs you "think" you need to loose are necessary.. for fricking living. You need a little fat. I hate it too, but trust me, you need it. If you think you want to loose weight, then work out with strength training. Build muscle! Trustttt meeee, you'll look super jacked and really slim, and you'll gain healthy weight. Weight gain is not as bad as it , sounds, (again, I know) so hide the scale. You should never weight yourself everyday, never. I mean, if your mother or family knows you have an eating disorder they should hide the scale from you. It's not good. My best advice is to stop weighting youself, eat what you want, and do strength workouts to gain muscle. Please don't be like, "whatever this girl doesn
t know anything I'm not listening to her" and don't get mad at what im saying because I do understand what your going through and I'm trying to hel as much as I can. hope this helped, happy holidays!

It's always scary doing something new like that. It's an opinion wether it feels good or not, most likely it should and will. If you don't know what to do to him, then hold off a little. Tell him your nervous and if hes experianced he should be able to know what to do. There's a first for everything so don't feel bad because you'll eventually have an imbarrassing moment hah. A lot of girls do shave down there, it's normal. You might not want to shave your whole area but cleaning it up a little is fine. Whatever you what do to. Guys like it neat down there hahaha. Your butt is probably all muscles. You said it yourself.. you are very active and eat healthy.. so you don't need to loose weight. 117-120 is really good. You can't loose fat or mass in just one area though. You can do exercises to tone you butt but its probably muscle. I don't think you should loose weight, its mostly up to you. You most likely don't need to loose any weight, so don't worry about it =)

Well, I'm not going to say if I have or haven't so i've heard it hurts. Then again, some people have said it hurts alot or hurts a little. Sometimes its just discomfort but others it feels really painful. Either way, you've got to have a first ya know. And once you get your first out of the way, you can do it whenever and it shouldn't hurt as much anymore. If your having sex and you relize it hurts alot, you can always stop. Just because it says a certian weight doesnt mean your under/over weight. It all depends on your body frame and muscle mass. The thing that really matters is your body fatness, that determies if your over weight or not. Hope this helped

im 14 years old, f. and i weigh 155lbs.
i was wondering if this would work, if i eat like 200calories for breakfast, 100calories for lunch, then go to the gym, and burn like 500-800 calories, then go eat dinner,.
would i lose weight that way, i really need to lose it quickly, and i want to keep it off, and if this isint going to keep it off then i don't want to do it.
but i want to lose about 3-4 lbs a week, if possible.

Thats a good way to loose weight fast, but ive heard that loosing it slowly will keep it off , and if you loose weight fast then it will most likely be gained again. Try 1500 calories a day and working out for 2 hours or something. That should be good and if not just cut down by 100 calories. But I don't suggest going under 1200 calories.

A year ago I took control of my health and lost a lot of weight (60 lbs.). I became completely obsessed with what I was eating (or rather not eating) and felt horrible if my weight went up even by a few ounces. Somwhere along the way I started binging really bad, and had to start marking my eating habits on a calendar to guilt myself into stopping. Since this school year started I've been very negative about my body. I've lost 10 lbs, but it keeps spiking back up 3-5 lbs. Two weeks ago I decided I was going to stop hating myself so much and reembrace my body. I felt better for a while, but I've been binging so bad, and I just can't seem to stop. I don't want to go back to obsessing over food, but I don't want to keep doing this...Help me.

I have the same problem. WEll, i binge eat alot. I had like 30 hersey kisses, 3 bowls of cereal.. ahh i cant even think about it. But I am a real healthy eater, and i am an althete so i am in shape too. And all this eating wont kill me because my body will just like, burn it off, but i hate it because i feel so nasty after i eat so much, i litteraly feel sick. So i know ive told myself it like 100 times, after i eat alot i go, "I will never do that agin" but i always do it again and i hate myself for it. So im just going to try really hard because I know I can I just don't try, which I need to. Next time I want to , im just going to go, "remember how mad you get and how crappy you feel, dont do it dont do it". I hope it works for me, maybe you can try it too. Well... I am 16 years old. I am a cheerleader. I am pretty musclar, I'm about 124 pounds and like 5'2'' When we do our routine I feel like im dying in the first half,because we do a lot. I know I'm out of shape. I really need some things I can do indoors seeing its almost winter. Also I dont have a lot of time on my hands because of practicing so much and I have a lot of homework? I drink water a lot and try not to over eat, and also try and eat healthy. What can i do to stay in shape?

Well its great you try to eat healthy and drink water. If you have practice so much, then that is helping you keep in shape. By doing your routine over and over your working out, burning calories, and probably getting a little more inshape and stronger each time. I think running is the best way to get inshape, like if you have a tredmil run for just like 15 minutes or a mile each day (whichever you finish first) and then you'll build stamina. Like, for our team we used to jog around the gym, say our cheer, then after we finished we'd do like 5 tucks. Just, work and keep doing cheerleading and trying your hardest at practices, run on a tredmil if you have one or outside if its nice enough. Hope this helped
