Hello! I am studying esthetics at an Aveda Institute after spending years in retail. I am proof that nothing turns out how you think it will, and that's a good thing. When you think you've got it figured out, you don't. Life would be boring otherwise, right?

Hey does any body have any ideas on how to loose a lot of weight in a short amount of time??

Not a whole lot you can do.

Eat less carbs and sugar.

Drinks lots of water (but no more than a gallon a day).

Exercise like crazy.

what do you think of sophomore year? i heard its harder than the freshman year whats the diffrence between freshman year and sophomore year? which one do you think it was better?

Personally, I hated freshman year. Everyone thinks you're lame and it's just boring, you can't take any of the fun classes.

Sophomore year's more fun. The classes are a little bit harder but there's not a huge difference. You might have a little more work but nothing excessive. I just finished up junior year and I think it's the hardest...the teachers pile on tons and tons of work!

Don't worry about sophomore year, do your homework and you'll be fine. :)

In The Sims 1, Bella was married to Mortimer and not much else was known about her.

According to the Sims 2, she disappeared right after the Caliente sisters moved in. I haven't played the game in a while, but I'm pretty sure her family remembers her. Remember the game does not run on a storyline. The stories they give you are simply ideas. You can find her in that one town (sorry, I think it was called Strangetown? The one with the aliens) and maybe spot her in a public place such as shopping, but there's no way to be her or get her back to her family that I know of. Maybe if you were a guy, you said hi, had a conversation with her, dated her, and married her? I don't know, but there's no way of getting her back to her old town. I guess the idea is supposed to be that she was abducted by aliens.

People PLEASE!!! BOTH Bella Goths are fakes. Obviously, everyone knows about the boolProp, Tombstone of L & D, blah blah blah crap... but it's pointless anyway because BELLA IS ALWAYS GONNA REMAIN DEAD! Well, in my game I played the Pleasantview Bella heaps of times, after using boolProp, saving and coming back and everything. It wasn't until I installed Nightlife that she "Died on another lot." So... I dunno what what happened there. Incidentally, my fake Strangetown Bella was living with the Curious brothers at the time.
ANYWAY, the REAL Bella with the REAL memories needs to be brought back with a program called SimPE. You see, the real Bella has an "I Am Dead" token, which can only be removed from downlooading SimPE, and therefore would then enable you to play the real Bella with all her memories intact. (Like, first kiss with Mortimer, or whatever...) So please, no more*bleep* about the Tombstone of L & D, because you'll only end up killing Bella again and making the Goth family even more sad and just making the whole thing frustrating and pointless. Find a site to download SimPE and solve the case of Bella's disappearance!!!

Im 16 and my dad died when i was 8 and my mom recently got married to a guy who used to be in the army. I have two sister and now i have 3 step brothers. He is like way strict and his kids are like perfect angels but me and my sisters have never really been raised that strict and for lack of better words are pretty wild. my mom never really punished us for things and now this guy is trying to control us and take over our lives. What should i do?

It doesn't seem like there's a whole lot you can do. It depends on what he's punished you for and whether or not it's really unfair. Since you admit you grew up in a pretty relaxed household, probably you're just having trouble with rules and guidelines. Hate to say it, but unless he does something truly uncalled for, like hitting you, there's not much you can do. Try talking to your mom about it, tell her you think some of his rules are unfair. Maybe even tell him at a time when you're not mad. In the long run, having rules will help you. Right now it may be frustrating but I promise you'll get used to it. Good luck!

so i just got a relatively large purse. its super cute and i LOVE it! but.. its really big, and has a lot of pockets and compartments. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO PUT IN IT! it looks dumb to leave it unfilled because then it just looks empty! so far i put my sunglasses, camera, ipod, cell phone, and wallet in there. it still doesn't fill it up! what else can i put in? what do you put in yours? thank you!

I don't know if you can, the Cafe Vanilla flavor comes from a mix of coffee and vanilla syrup. They do sell their vanilla syrup, though, maybe you could try buying that.

FYI: I am a 20 year-old recent college grad. Both men I am referring to in this question are only slightly older than me and finishing their degrees.

"Joe" and I began dating 2 1/2 years ago. Our relationship was generally good when last summer (1 1/2 years in)he decided that he didn't want a serious girlfriend. Nothing mean or ugly, he was just being honest. I tried all summer to change his mind but finally gave. (We remained close friends.)

After dating around for a little while, I began seeing "Michael". Our relationship was somewhat rocky because we had both come out of relationships and he had been hurt many times before. During this time, Joe began to develop interest in having a relationship. I thought it over and eventually decided to try things again with Joe. (I stayed in close contact with Michael.)

Joe and I have a really easygoing relationship, but he refuses to discuss a more serious commitment. When we discuss it, he says he doesn't see us going in that direction at this point but is always careful to avoid losing me entirely. In the past few months, Michael has attempted to see other people to no avail. He is convinced that I am the only one for him. We have been getting along beatuifully, and Michael has done everything he to prove to me that we belong together. (Both are fully aware of each other and the current status.)

Michael wants me to leave Joe and become engaged to him. (He's even looking at rings.) I am seriously considering this. I love both men very much (in somewhat different ways) and could she myself happily married to either (in 2-5 years). The difference here is that Michael is willing to commit and Joe is not. Both have treated me very well; although Michael is romantic (flowers) while Joe is considerate (fixs my car). Is there any point in continuing to wait for Joe or should I leave him and accept the proposal from Micheal?

Michael...but...Honestly, he sounds too perfect. You've listed negative qualities with Joe, but nothing with Michael, which is a little strange. Joe really doesn't sound that great though. Go with Michael, just be careful.

Very bad idea.

My cousin did it in an attempt to dye her hair red...it turned quite literally green and orange with splotches. The worst part is that it is permanent. She went a salon, they couldn't get it out, she tried hair color stripper, tried dying her hair back to her normal color, nothing worked. It took 3 years to grow out completely and she ended up having to cut off her long hair to make it less obvious that her hair was orange and green.

I saw you answer a question about braces and you mentioned springs.

Well, I have to get a spring on my next appointment which is in I think early July. How does it feel, and what exactly does it do? I know it's kinda a self explanatory question, but, I would just like to have a more understanding of it.

The spring moves your teeth very quickly to speed up the braces process.

Usually, they will remove 2 brackets (1 top, 1 bottom), and connect the spring to the wire. Both ends of the spring are able to move side-to-side. (Sorry, don't know how exactly to explain it) The spring connects your upper and lower rows of teeth.

I'm not going to lie, at first it's not fun. For the first few days you can't open your mouth all the way and eating is pretty hard. However within 2-3 days you should adjust and be able to eat, brush your teeth normally, etc. again. It just takes getting used to. It feels odd at first, just as braces did, but it gets better. Eat soft foods (soup, scrambled eggs, smoothies, applesauce) and take advil if it hurts. The good thing is that having springs means you'll have your braces off sooner! :)

I went to a park to have fun. So I brought my boyfriend and my little sister. This little girl asked my sister if I was her mother. She also asked me and my boyfriend if we were married. Then she completely judged us.. and said that we were going to hell. We are bad people and that she feels sorry for my little sister. She said we are going to burn in a lake full of fire. We just smiled at each other and ignored it.. because we know we aren't bad people. We haven't done anything considered evil. She made us sound so bad and she was trying to convert my little sister. Is this how churches are nowadays? Because in my neighborhood it's a constance "you're going to rot in hell" "you're evil, you like satan" and I don't know.. even the parents are the same.. judging us.

I'm not trying to make people with religion sound bad.. I was just raised a different way and I wouldn't tell someone their religion is completely stupid or try to convert them. Believe what you want.. i just don't want to be converted and say that I'm a satan follower.. :[

Well, she kept going on about how I was BAD and so was my OTHER sister [who was not with me]

So i tried taking my little sister home.. i don't want her to get bad ideas [like I'm an evil person.. you know? She can believe in God if she wants..] But she backed away from me with scared eyes.

First of all, that's awful. I'm so sorry that had to happen to you.

That little girl obviously has horrible parents who have planted these ideas in her head. You're not bad people. If you were bad people, you'd have yelled at her or hit her.

I've noticed some (not all) Catholic churches are like that, but not many nowdays. Extreme seperatist branches (assembly of god, etc) can be that way. Generally Christian people aren't like that. (I'm an atheist so I've only been to two churches) Have your parents talk to your sister. Tell her that the little girl didn't know what she was talking about and must have heard it from some bad people. As long as you're a good person, you'll go to heaven, and since everyone in your family is good, you're all okay. Try to calm her down by watching a video or something.

If you can't talk to her, I really wouldn't recommend going on a second date.

But if you insist, here are some ideas:

Wear them as much as possible. Whenever you're not eating try to wear them. My brother and I didn't, and we both had to get springs, which are extremely painful as well as uncomfortable.

like the war in iraq and stuff. i dont get it.. did it start when 9/11 started? and no dont tell me to research because i dont get what the journalists say and stuff.. im only 13 so put it in a way i'd understand, please. like basically how did the war start, what happened during the war and why hasnt it ended yet and stuff?

Okay, I'll try to put this simply.

9/11 happened, we invaded Afghanistan.

President Bush claimed that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction (nuclear weapons) and asked the UN for permission to go in. The UN said no, he went anyway, which is why just about every country but England is against the war. Weapons of mass destruction were never found and now we are there trying to make Iraq into a democracy. It's never gonna work, and this war isn't going to end anytime soon. You can't just end a war and say "Okay, it's over". It's a complicated process and while George Bush is in office, it won't happen...but if the war continues, the possibility of a draft grows stronger. It hasn't ended because Bush doesn't feel his job is done.

My boyfriend and I were at an amusement park and we were in the drop off parking lot. So we were both a little dizzy and decided to sit down in the shade near the grass. It was really hot but the thing is.. I'm allergic to grass so I sat on his lap.

10 minutes later..
The security came by.. and said that we should sit appropriately because he's been getting *complaints.



Okay, were we really sitting inappropriate? I don't know.. it's not like we were having sex or anything. He had one leg curled in so I can sit there :/

That doesn't sound bad to me...but adults can be really weird about stuff like that.

The security guard probably just had nothing better to do. I've gotten in trouble for stupid stuff like that before, the best thing to do is be respectful and laugh about it later.
