I'm trying not to be rude
I went to a park to have fun. So I brought my boyfriend and my little sister. This little girl asked my sister if I was her mother. She also asked me and my boyfriend if we were married. Then she completely judged us.. and said that we were going to hell. We are bad people and that she feels sorry for my little sister. She said we are going to burn in a lake full of fire. We just smiled at each other and ignored it.. because we know we aren't bad people. We haven't done anything considered evil. She made us sound so bad and she was trying to convert my little sister. Is this how churches are nowadays? Because in my neighborhood it's a constance "you're going to rot in hell" "you're evil, you like satan" and I don't know.. even the parents are the same.. judging us.
I'm not trying to make people with religion sound bad.. I was just raised a different way and I wouldn't tell someone their religion is completely stupid or try to convert them. Believe what you want.. i just don't want to be converted and say that I'm a satan follower.. :[
Well, she kept going on about how I was BAD and so was my OTHER sister [who was not with me]
So i tried taking my little sister home.. i don't want her to get bad ideas [like I'm an evil person.. you know? She can believe in God if she wants..] But she backed away from me with scared eyes.
It hurt me.. and it made me angry.
I don't know what to do ?
She keeps looking at me strangely.

Tell your little sister that you did absolutely nothing wrong. You and your boyfriend know you aren't bad people, and you have to explain that to her. What the person that at the park or what have you-- was incredibly inappropriate and I assure you, not all religons these days are like that. Churches these days are all about being saved, yes, but they are also about love. Loving God, loving others, etc.
So, you just happened to encounter a particularly.. odd person. My apologies.
Explain to your little sister that she should believe someone she knows over someone she doesn't, too. You can never say the "never talk to/trust strangers" bit too often.

First of all, that's awful. I'm so sorry that had to happen to you.
That little girl obviously has horrible parents who have planted these ideas in her head. You're not bad people. If you were bad people, you'd have yelled at her or hit her.
I've noticed some (not all) Catholic churches are like that, but not many nowdays. Extreme seperatist branches (assembly of god, etc) can be that way. Generally Christian people aren't like that. (I'm an atheist so I've only been to two churches) Have your parents talk to your sister. Tell her that the little girl didn't know what she was talking about and must have heard it from some bad people. As long as you're a good person, you'll go to heaven, and since everyone in your family is good, you're all okay. Try to calm her down by watching a video or something.

Okay, honestly, if that little girl is that fucking ignorant, then she's the one going to hell.
You know you're not a bad person so ignore what she said. Yes, it hurts but let it have no effect on you. People are always going to be ignorant, rude & judgemental so why let it get to you? The sooner you learn to ignore it, the happier you'll be.
As for your sister, talk to her about this. It's safe to say she's easy to influence & persuade, so you need to change her mind. You're her sister & she thinks you're bad because of some little ignorant thing who doesn't even know you. Fix that.

If a Christian saw you and thought you were the mother of ur little sister they'd either feel really sorry for you or think "God will send her to hell."
Because christians are against adultery/premarital sex/etc.

Was your sister listening on the whole you and your boyfriend being parents thing? Like if she was, wouldn't she know that you aren't "bad" or whatever because she isn't even your kid? I dunno, if I were you, I'd sit her down and try to explain what happened.. Then again it really depends how old she is too, because this topic can go deeper into what she believes in and stuff, and she would still need to explore what she believes in no?
