I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.


I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

ok i just turned 13 a week ago and i'm in 7th grade, and i havn't had a boyfriend yet...i'm pretty sure its because... i'm ugly, i mean i wear glasses i'm 5'0 or 5'1 and i'm fat... (135) waht do i do??i cant talk to a friend or cousin or aunt, and my mom passed away. so i live with my dad. what should i do?? please please please help me.

But listen, confidence is key! If you're confident in yourself, that's all that matters. Guys love confidence. And if you feel negatively about yourself, and they see that, they're not gonna wanna be with you. Besides, girls don't usually get boyfriends til about 8th grade or highschool. And you still have plenty of time to grow [height & body], so don't put yourself down about your weight. You only look that way because you're short, and it shows more than it does on a tall person. And glasses aren't really all that ugly, but if you hate them so much, ask your dad about contacts. Try to change a litle. If your hair is long, layer it, or give it a trim. Wear makeup.

But never, ever put yourself down. I'm sure you're pretty. =] Besides, you don't need a man to complete you.

How do I get a work permit? What are the steps?

Go to your school counselling center [that's where I got mine], and ask for your working permit papers. They'll hand you a form, and you fill it out, get a physical a year prior to, and then have the school fill some of it out, and then when it's all filled out, submit it back into the school, & you should have it sometime soon after.

i dont even know where too start.
uh, well this all start on the first day of school. i sit down in a seat with my reallllly good friend of 6 years, heather. we have a new bus schedule and it was the first day of highschool, so i was interested in any cute guys. one stop, had this really cute guy named steve on it. i only recongnize him from being on my friends myspaces. so a few days passed and then around wednesday the 13th i added him on myspace and i got his screenname hes a junior, heathers a sophmore, we started talking alot. and i started to like him. the only thing that sucked was that he had a girlfriend, we talked a little over the weekend and he told me to say hey to him on monday. monday finally came and i was sooo excitied, when i got onto the bus i told heather that i had been talking to him and she seemed surprised, because this kid is kind of popular. and so i could tell heather was like jealous that they dont really talk. anyway, me and steve had been talking this whole week and today heather got off at my bus stop, and we were planning on going to the mall. we were sitting in front of the computer and i as usual was talking about steve, and she knows i like him. we were on myspace and we saw that him and his girlfriend brokeup. i was so happy, words couldnt describe. i was talking to him and trying to make him feel better and stuff. heather says "we should tell him to meet us at the mall, i'd probably hook up with him" ....i dont understand how she could say that. and then she kept saying how cute he was. i didnt make the connection that she was starting to like him. after that she left and when we were talking online she said that she decided to go with her friend lilly. i got pissed at that too. so i decided to go with my friend alison, so i posted a myspace bulletin saying oh yay im going with alisonto the mall, and steve i-med me saying oh yay im going to ! lets meet up or something ! i was in suchhh a good mood and then it all fell down. first alison decides to ditch, and go over her friends, then heather callsme asking me if i am coming to the mall, and she also adds that she was sending steve messages back and forth, and she told me to read them, so i go on her myspace and she lied, she reversed everything, like she said that he said that he wanted to hang with her, and on themessages it was backwards. she was the one who wanted to hang with him. anyway so now im home, and im praying that they dont hook up. because that would ruin my life and my friend ship with heather.

this is my question:
do i have a chance ? should i stay liking steve ? and should i still talk to heather ?

if you think i should still like steve.. then do you have any tips for me ?

You definitely have a chance. If he was asking you to meet up and not her, he obviously sees something he likes better in you. Besides, you probably have a lot that she doesn't. You should definitely stay liking him. Don't back down because your friend wants to give you some competition. Take her competition & shoot her down everytime. I wouldn't stay friends with her. She knows how you feel about him, and she goes in for the kill! Who does that & claims they're your best friend? NO ONE. I'd ditch her, she's not worth your time.

All I can say, is just talk to him more. Form the friendship more. And then if he doesn't already know, tell him that you like him, and if he likes you back, start dating! Good luck!

What are good ways to get curly hair without getting a perm or using a curling iron?

I really want to learn how to skateboard. The problem is I don't have a skateboard. I was wondering where you can get really good skateboards.

Look skateboarding business's up in your phonebook, you'll find plenty. Or, you can always go to Zumies. Tell them what you want, and they'll build it for. And it'll be pretty cheap. The most you'll pay is $115, depending on the package you get. Silver/Gold/Platinum. Platinum is the most expensive, because the nicest stuff for the skateboard's in the package. I'd get that one.

I'm a freshmen 15/f

The other day my friend said I was kinda prepy but I don't see myself as prepy at all and I hate that I was called prepy. I see myself as more athletic than prep but I mean I get almost all my clothes from ae so I guess I kinda am prepy but I just hate the fact that I was called prep. And ever since I was recely in h.s I've been so worried about my looks, hair, weight, etc. and I'm kinda confused who I am right now cause I never thought I'd be called prepy or worry about my appreace soo much. So is this normal for me to worry about my appreance and like how can I figure out who I am and what I wanna be?

Don't let what your friend said bother you. Labels are stupid, so take it lightly. It's nothing to get upset over. Yeah, it's normal for you to worry about your appearance, everyone does-guy or girl.

To figure out who you want to be, and who you are, do this. On New Year's, evaluate yourself for then. And then when it comes again next year, do it again, and see how much you've changed. It let's you know where you are, and where you've changed. Better or worse.

hey my name is ellen and my son justin who is 19 years old and he is teaching sunday school at church,but I just found out he he and his girlfriend tessa had unprotected sex about a month ago and there was a big hickey on his neck what should I do?

Your son is 19, and is fully capable to make his own decisions, and to think for himself. He's old enough to do these things on his own, and there's things you just can't tell him to do anymore. I realize you care about your son, but I'm sure he knows all the consequences & things about having unprotected sex, and I'm sure him and his girlfriend discussed it. Don't be worried about your soon, he's an adult. No longer a minor. I can understand if he was a young kid, like 16. I'm not saying 19 isn't young, but 19 year olds are much wiser than 16 year olds. Anyways, don't bother him about it. The less you speak of it, the more he'll come around. He probably just thinks that you're babying him because of it, and he doesn't want to be babied, he wants to be treated like the adult he is.

Well, I'm guessing that you're young. Anyways, there's plenty of reasons why you keep breaking up with your boyfriends. You're probably afraid of commitment, or being tied down to one person for too long. I would just give them longer than two weeks to prove themselves to you, and give them a chance. 2 week relationships are stupid.

I got my first real tatto about a month ago. Now, the artist never gave me a real talking to about it. He just said rub ointment on it for the first 2 days, then, keep putting lotion on it. Well, to make a long story short, it scabbed over & it looked horrible! I know this sounds stupid, but, I didn't think it would look normal, so, I did pick at it a little & now I lost some of the color. What can I do now? Is the only way to make it better is to go back to the artist & have a retouch. If so, will he have to do it all over again? Thanks.

You aren't supposed to touch the scab. That's part of the process to show your tattoo is healing. Anyways, go back to the place, explain what happened, and they'll most likely do a touch up to it. Don't pick at the scabs anymore. Or you'll fuck up all your tattoos.

"My life is falling apart and I'm not going to let you follow me." Those were the last words my ex-girlfriend said to me. She just graduated high school and is as confused about life as we all are, but she can't let anyone help her, not even me. I love this girl and I want to be there for her but I don't know if I should give her the space she believes she needs, or if I should stand by her as someone she can depend on if she needs it. I think you should stand by her as someone she can depend on if she needs it. If she wants her space, you shouldn't disobey that, and get in her bubble. Give her some time, she'll eventually figure out what she wants to do with herself, and her life, and then she'll come around.

Dropping out is the stupidest thing anyone can do, ever. If you drop out, you pretty much just let your future go. You'll never find a good job. You'll be working at McDonald's for the rest of your life. And do you really wanna be flipping burgers? You'll have to live at home for the rest of your life, because you won't be able to pay for an apartment off $5.75 an hour. Trust me, staying in school is the best thing for you. There's a lot of people who say school isn't for them, but they stay anyways because they want a good life. And if you wanted a good life, you'd go to school, either that or get your G.E.D. If you don't decide to go to highschool. Get homeschooled, so you have some type of education. Because you won't make it very far off an 8th grade education. Trust me.
