how to reply to the frequently asked question in the interviews such as this one" tell me about ur self" actually what does the interviewer expects from us when he asks this question? (link)
|
Usually, they are looking for a "high level view" of you - they want to see how well-rounded you are, see where your interests lie, etc. Thus, when asked that, it is better to give light details and provide lots of different things about you. This way, if anything catches the interviewer's interest, they can ask you another more specific question regarding one of those things. Hopefully an interview won't open with this question first - that should be frowned upon as it doesn't establish what the scope of the interview is.

Before you get your first period do you aloways feel angry and stuff and do you always get cramps? Thanks! (link)
|
Not every woman has the same symptoms prior to her period. Some have none at all, in fact. It is a highly variable thing.
|
Okay, last year in 6th grade I was in a class w/ my worst enemies (let's call them Kirsty and Cally)They were very popular, but then Cally turned on Kirstin and Kirstin was hated. I befriended Kirstin and we became very good friends. Cally and her friends were soo mean to her. Now, Cally and Kirstin are friends again and kirstin ignores me constantly! At dances, skool, and online! She even calls me a ho! (link)
|
Ignore her until she grows up, because she's clearly acting like a stupid, immature moron. You shouldn't care what stupid people like her think.
|
ok my friend thinks she may be pregnant because her stomach is really warm, and the smell of food makes her sick and shes ALWAYS hungry. She has had her period but shes still scared and she also told me she is taking a depression medication called lortex (i think) and she doesnt know if its because of that or if shes prgnant and shes too scared to ask her parents! Please help asap! Thanks! (link)
|
Simple fix: you tell her parents that she's saying these things. No, really.
From the sound of it, she's not telling the truth and making this all up. Your stomach doesn't get warm like that when pregnant. Nor does the smell of all foods make you puke. Nor are you always hungry.
p.s. - You've posted about this person an awful lot.

Heyy, my #1 dream is to become a famous actress. not a small one like Hillary Duff or nickelodian ppl. I want to be an actress as famous as Nicole kiddman, julia roberts or sara michelle gellar. Does ne 1 no ne good theaters or acting places?
(say theatres name, state, and city plz)
(if u could name one from pennslvania I'd rate u alot!)

Thing is, if you really want to get discovered, you're going to need to leave Pennsylvania. New York and LA are the "big" places for stage and movies.
I'm not going to list you every damned theatre name on Broadway. Nor am I going to list for you every movie studio in Hollywood.
If you're really serious about this, GET AN AGENT, and contact A TALENT SCOUT. No, I'm not kidding. Get involved with your local theater, and build up from there - get into large scale venues in larger cities, work your ass off for a few years and get a gig on Broadway. There is no magic formula anyone can give you. There are few magic strings to pull to land you a gig in Hollywood apart from nepotism. It takes work. And if you'd research the backgrounds of many of the stars, it takes some serious schooling, including high-end prestigious colleges and universities.
p.s. - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Pennsylvania+Theater+Company&btnG=Google+Search
Anger issues, eh? You are pathetically immature. With an attitude like that, you'll get eaten alive in showbiz. Best of luck.
p.s. - you're a lazy moron.

Well this girl who I'm good friends with has invited me to watch some DVDs have have pizza at her house tomorrow night. There will be some other people there who I know but I don't have much in common with them and we aren't great friends. I want to go but I don't want to be left out of the conversation. What should I do? (link)
|
Go, eat pizza, ignore the people you don't like, if it gets ugly, leave. Don't let other people control your life. If you'd like to go and have pizza with your friend, then do it. Stop worrying about the other people.

hey every 1... im wanting to make a web page... but i dont know how... can you help me out by telling me how? (link)
|
Step One: find a host server for you webpage.
Step Two: Learn HTML or get a WYSIWYG HTML editor to make your web page.
Step Three: Transfer your site to the host server.
Optional Steps: buy a domain name and get it set up on with your host's DNS. Learn CSS for better web design. Learn XML for even better web design. Learn java script and perl to do cool server stuff. Learn PHP to make cool dyanmic crap that interoperates with an SQL database.
...or...
Go to some cheesey place like geocities and use their default templates for a crappy free website that you don't have to pay for.

Hey, this is Rainbowcherrie. Well i'm meeting my boyfriend today and I want to do something nice with my hair cause he usually only sees it when its down at school. Do you have any ideas for any casual styles I could do it in? (link)
|
two words: Patti LaBelle
Yes, I'm kidding. And if you don't know who I'm talking about, go find a picture of her from the 80s... well worth it.
you could put your hair up via one of the various flippy techniques with a braid on both sides to accentuate it... I'd explain better, but I'll pull the "I'm a guy" excuse and leave it at that. You could also try a french braid - as that is still casual, yet can look nice.

hey u guys im a 15 year old male, and i was of course playing truth or dare with mostly grls and a few guys, and a grl dared me to go in the bathroom right then and there and SHAVE MY LEGS! well i wasnt gonna turn down a dare so i did it, but im wunderin if i should like wear pants to school until they grow back cuz usually guys wit shaved legs r gay, or do grls think is hot?? (link)
|
Swimmers, bikers, and runners will shave their legs. Yes, the men do this. For the ones who compete hard-core, the little bit of drag caused by leg-hair can be enough to cause you to lose, so, yeah, they shave it.

My 21 year old daughter had to move back home, because her roomate moved out to go to college. My daughter couldn't afford the rent on her own, so she had to move in with us. She got a job working as a cocktail waitress in a real dumpy bar, now she has started dating a "regular" from the dumpy bar, and he is a 23 year old drug(meth) dealer. I have pleaded with her not to go out with this loser, to no avail. Question: Should we throw her out and risk her moving in with the new boyfriend or try to put up with it, in hopes that she will see the light and dump him. She says she really likes him. As far as I know she is not using meth, but does smoke pot. (link)
|
I would consider try to put up with it - the risks of her doing something worse should she be pushed out are too high. If you know she smokes pot, you might try to apply some pressure against that as further leverage in the situation. Does she have any prospects on a better job?

6 days ago was your one year anniversary on this site. How did you celebrate? haha.. (link)

im 13 about to turn 14... im about to have my birthday party in 3 weeks... i have an idea of who to invte but the thing is im thinking of having it at my friends house. im stressed out right now and im really really tired and i have alopt on my mind right now... i never get bored because theres always something i can think about that i have to do. its friday s thats good... i just feel like a stressed out tired teenager and i want to know how to make it where i enjoy everything a little more. i get to sleep at 11 or later and i used to go to sleep at 9:30 im getting used to going to sleep later but the thing is im tired all day... i have no problem waking up or anything. how do i get myself out of this tired stressed out slump? (link)
|
My thoughts:
Try getting more sleep. Yeah, sounds really dumb, doesn't it? See if you can't get yourself to get an extra half-hour to an hour of sleep a night. See what that does for you. Also, take an afternoon nap right after school if you are able. Even 15-20 nap might do you wonders.
Kill caffeine from your diet. Remove caffinated drinks, reduce the amount of chocolate you eat, etc. In return, drink more water. People who finally get over caffeine are usually stunned to see just how much MORE energy then can have when they are no longer dependent on it.
Get more physical activity on a regular basis. Routine exercise, jogging, treadmill, biking, whatever - but do it on a fairly regular basis. Exercising will actually help you have more energy and has been found as an easy way to beat depression - many clinically depressed people are put on exercise programs in addition to any medications. Physical activity is not only good for the body, but it is good for the mind. Well worth looking into.

I am 13/f. Ever since I have been dating my boyfriend, I have been thinking things I really shouldn't be thinking. I keep getting all these...desires to do things to him. I shouldn't be thinking things like that, I'm only 13!!! How do I stop? (link)
|
Take a cold shower...
;)
It is normal, there's nothing wrong with you. In fact, if you DIDN'T have these feelings, I'd be more worried. Here's the thing - it is one thing to think those things and have desires - it is another to know what is right and wrong for you and be able to control those sexual urges. Just do your best to be wise and don't do anything that you'll likely end up regretting or find yourself in trouble because of. Willpower and patience aren't easy to come by, but it is all about learning to balance wants and desires with actual needs.

hey .. i wrote a few days ago about my boyfriend that's in the hospital .. hes in intensive care for his head injury .. well, this is the update .. the doctors recently had to cut open his head and take a part of his brain out so that they can run tests and all or sumthin lyk that..(i still quite dont understand it) .. and then they will put it back in and all that ..and hes still in the drug induced coma.. but now that this has happened, all those people that said he'll be okay .... do you still feel that way?? (link)
|
If they're running a diagnostic, many of those tests are routine analysis. It is too easy to want to read more into it, but without knowing the standard procedure for massive head trauma, which I'm going to guess that no one here is familiar with, we can't really say. I mean, there's obviously a chance that he'll recover, but suffer some sort of brain damage - at this stage it is hard to tell. This test they are running might be to assess that. To me, it still sounds like they have high hopes that he will recover - the problem is that you just cannot tell to what degree he'll recover, or how long that recovery will take. Sadly, it means that you are stuck sitting and waiting and hoping.

i have this dog who is two years old, and i love him sooo much. the problem is, he has gotten my other dog pregnant twice, and each tie we had a horrible time trying to give the puppies away. My parents are furious, and they want to castrate him. i just cant bear the though of him losing his gender! just in case any of you know, what happens when you castrate a dog? are there any side effects? (link)
|
Most dogs get a bit clamer after "the snip". The biggest side-effect is, well, no more puppies. If you are not officially breeding dogs, why don't you have BOTH dogs spayed/neutered?
|
Why do people answer questions, just to say they don't know, or to ask somebody else?
Why do people answer questions they obviously, from their answers, don't have a clue about? (link)
|
I've complained about that since shortly after I started on this site... mind you, I'm member #33, so that means that things have been that way since essentially the public beginning of this site.
Some people are just obsessed with aswering things - it is almost like they thought they'd get a prize for having lots of answers. But they never bothered to think that saying "lol! idk! omg! lol! hope i help u! lol!" made them look, well... hell, do I even need to say it? I even ranted in the music section once because people who were asking specific questions about guitar were getting horrible advice from people who had absolutely NO musical background. It was litterally, "Oh, I heard that bass is hard." and shit like that. It was just absolutely stupid. I flat out said, "hey, if you don't know what you're talking about - SHUT UP!" And even that didn't sink in.
But I digress....
Why do people give empty answers? Because they are morons. No one will convince me otherwise, because, damnit, there are a lot of really fucking stupid people out there in the world, and they all like to hear themselves (or in this case, see themselves) blather away.
It also doesn't help that some dumbasses will rate anything and everything with a "5" just for having responded to a question. Thus the whole "whee... it's the answering game!" factor comes into play again. Which of course just loops right back to the argument that people are stupid.
Am I harsh? Perhaps. Am I wrong? Sadly, probably not. Oh well, live and learn, there's only so much in life we can control, and luckily so far, the number of people who are actually able to answer questions has managed to outnumber the buffoons who blather away like broken records of "omg! i dunno! lol!".

Im falling in love with my best friend. I dont want to ruin our relationship, but i really want to be more than friends with her. We talked about it briefly, and she says she doesnt want to be, but she acts totally like she does. i dotn want to rush things, i just dont know if these feelings are true, or if i should be feeling them. help. im 18 m n shes 18 f (link)
|
Well, I married my best friend, so, I guess that doesn't really help ;)
Give yourself time. She's already your friend, so you don't need to "play your cards" if you get my drift... just continue to be friends and build your friendship - if something happens, hey great... if not, you don't need to sweat it. Just try to balance your more intimate feelings for her with the more platonic ones and try to not let the scope of the relationship change too quickly, as sending a friendship like that spiralling out of control is usually an ugly thing.

Ok i've been dating my boyfriend for 3 months and all we've done is makeout everytime he goes down my pants, he pulls out his hand really fast. and i shave so i dont know whats wrong. what should i do? (link)

Could it be that he's nervous, not ready, or think that you shaving is freakish? It does happen.

I live in a multiple unit house that has shared washer and dryer in the basement. The washer is hooked to one floors electric. The dryer to the 2nd floor. The third floor tenant is paying no cost. How can we split the cost up between floors fairly? Are there meters we can put on the appliances? Rewiring techniques? Appreciate any options to split the cost.
(link)
|
I believe you can purchase meters you can place directly on, or even plug into the outlet, for each apppliance. You could track usage that way.
I assume that each "apartment" has its own breaker box, and that the building itself has a main breaker that controls those sub-breakers? If so, re-wire to have the washer and dryer on the main breaker? As I think about this, that might not be possible... eh, it's a thought.
Aside from rewiring, the meters might be your best bet. I still think there may be a way to re-wire things, but this would require knowing how the electrical is divided up in the first place between the tennants / sub-units.

Okay, this may sound weird, but here it goes. I've never had a canker sore before, but recently, one grew inside my lower lip. I have always heard my friends complaining about this but they never said much about it. How do you get them and how can you make them go away/prevent them? (link)
|
It is caused by a virus. Stress can make them become more prevalent. Any slight cut to the tissue inside your mouth can become one. For ones that get really bad, the use of something like Orabase while you sleep will help out. Mouthrinses and use of tooth whiteners can help cure them (they will attack the infection at the center of the sore). DO NOT BITE THEM - this will only make things worse.
I have never had one on the outside of my mouth, so I can't offer much help there, but the interior ones I am well familiar with.
