help im really confused!?!?
ok my friend thinks she may be pregnant because her stomach is really warm, and the smell of food makes her sick and shes ALWAYS hungry. She has had her period but shes still scared and she also told me she is taking a depression medication called lortex (i think) and she doesnt know if its because of that or if shes prgnant and shes too scared to ask her parents! Please help asap! Thanks!

many antidepressants will make you sick to your stomach but starving at the same time. one of mine made me so sick that i lost 30 pounds! if shes worried about pregnancy, she should get a test from the local drugstore. she should also talk to her doctor about the side effects of the drug.

I think she should stop worrying and buy a pregnancy test, you can still have your period when your pregnant, it will just be lighter. Once, i had a fake pregnancy, I didnt go on my period, and the test showed up positive. I was so stressed out, i was makin myself believe i was pregnant...I think she should get a test

She's definitely not pregnant if she's had her period.. if she's still scared go to the dollar store er something and buy a PREGNANCY test.. then when it tells her SHES NOT pregnant.. have her tell her mom what's going on.. and get her to a doctor.. she's probably just imagining things.. shes prolly a hypocondriact like i was.. lol.. which means.. u always think somethings wrong with you when there isn't lol..

If she's had her period than she cant be pregnant because you cant have your period when your pregnant, so im sure its just the pills shes taking. if shes still scared and is still having the side effects she is than tell her to buy a home pregnancy test and she can just test without having to ask or tell her parents.

Has she had sex? Then there might just be a chance she's pregnant. Why not go to the store and buy a pregnancy test...then she'll know for sure.

i really have strong belief that the way she is feeling is due to these pills she is taking. she should tell her doctor becuz its not safe to not eat and how her stomach is always warm....she's not pregnant becuz you dont get your period when youre pregnant. not even one last time...it stops right when you get pregnant .. the second you get pregnant.. bc the egg connects to where you bleed from. if you need more info, feel free to ask me...good luck and take care..

she could be pregnate, i've been on a lot of pills and i've never had any of those side effects. though it does say you could lose appetite or gain it. if shes to scared to talk to her parents, then maybe she should just go out and get a test, thats the best way to find out. and if she is, then maybe you could be there with her when she tells her parents if she is. just be there for her. i hope everything works out.

Well I read that it is possible to be pregnant and still get a period. Just to make sure, get a home pregnancy test.

If she's still gettin her period... most likely... she's not pregnant... if she's still concerned... she should take a home pregnancy test... most likely those side effects are occuring in response to lortex...

Get her to take a pergnancy test.. its as simple as that. And if the test comes back showing that she is not pregnant than her symptoms may require further medical attention and she should see a doctor. It could possibly just be side effects from the meds.. or something more serious than that.

From the sound of it, she's not telling the truth and making this all up. Your stomach doesn't get warm like that when pregnant. Nor does the smell of all foods make you puke. Nor are you always hungry.<br>
