A girl I used to be friends with pierced her nose herself, and she said it didn't hurt at all. But, the pain is different for everybody. So, it hurts for some, but not for others. As for the lip piercings, most of my friends had their's done & some of my friend's had swollen lips & couldn't talk or eat, and some of my friends didn't even feel it & they could still talk/eat normally with no pain.

The last picture: her nose got severely infected. She probably got pierced somewhere dirty.

Make sure that when you're gonna get it pierced that they open all the packaging for the needles & whatnot in front of you. If they already have it laid out & ready to go when you get there, turn around & go somewhere else. That's a sign that they're not clean, and you'll probably get an infection.

Also, if they don't explain everything to you [what they're gonna do, what they're gonna use, how it's done, what you should do to clean it & keep it safe of infection], then you shouldn't be there. Haha, and you'd need to find yourself another piercing shop. Good luck with your piercing though hun!

i'm going to a party on saturday after i get back from vacation, and my ex girlfriend is going to be there. we were together for 4 months, and i absolutely loved her. we broke up about a week and a half ago. she's going with this guy that is apparantly the reason we broke up, and its REALLY pissing me off. i thought about bringing this really pretty friend i have to make my ex jealous, but she's already busy on saturday. so what should i do? i definitely want to go to the party, but i don't know what to do about the fact that she's going to be there with that guy...

Ok it's going really rough these past 5 years for me because my parents constantly fight but their family doesn't beleive in divorce so oviously they can't get divorced. What can I do?

Awh, don't think that your parents marriage is typical, because it's not. Yeah, lots of parents get divorced, but every family and relationship isn't like that. My parents fight sometimes, and there's been times where I was thinking about who I wanted to live with [I thought they were gonna split], and they've been working it out. My parents have been together 21 years, and if they can make it last this long, then not all parents have a dysfunctional relationship.

Just suggest family/marriage counseling & see if things change. If not, just try to occupy your time with a sport, or an after school activity, or go to a friend's house so you don't have to be around the fighting constantly. Trust me, that's not how love is. And you'll find that out when you're in it, k? So keep your head up & don't worry. Love is far from what your parents are dealing with.

Go to Account Settings. You type in the email address you want, and then you click Change. It'll ask if you're positive that's what you wanna do, and then you click yes. And then it'll send an email to that email address, and you verify it so they know that the email is valid. Then you long in with that email address from now on with the same password you had before. =]

My newest friend told me that she got raped and she is only ten. I told my mom and she is trying to get me to let her to tell her mom, sinse she works with her mom. I really dont know what to do. Tell your mom & let her tell your friend's mom. Your friend might never trust you again since you told her secret, but it's worth it. You'd be saving her life. She can probably catch this guy & stop him from doing this to other girl's. And she needs help, whether she realizes that or not. If she doesn't get the help she needs, she's gonna be traumatized forever. She'll never be able to trust guys, and she'll never be able to do most things kids do. Like have guy friens, go to parties, go on dates or even have sex. She won't be social, and she'll go through many depressions & times where she feels guilty.

Tell her mom and get her help. She'll be pissed when she find out you told, and she won't trust you, but you'll be saving her life. And she'll thank you in the end. Trust me.

So I am mentally ill, battling with depression. I have looked everywhere for a Psychiatric clinic or facility that covers my insurance but there are none around (within 50 miles). And my parents refuse to get me somewhere where it does not support our insurance.

Are there any clinics around the Cincinnati, OH area I can go to for free or maybe to a price affordable?

well there\'s this guy named jamie in my school... he just moved like 2 weeks ago i guess... i never saw him until last thursday... because he just started eating outside during lunch time(where i sit)

When a guy doesn't automatically call you, why do you assume that he doesn't like you? There are so many positive answers to this, but all girls ever do is think of the negatives.

He could be busy doing his homework, or maybe he's just too shy to call you. Maybe he wants to, but doesn't know what to say. I think he does like you, but like he said: he's new here, so he's not gonna remember certain things for a while because he's still getting used to things.

I'm pretty sure that if you moved some place, & you'd been so used to your old phone numbers & addresses, that you wouldn't exactly remember on the spot either. Don't give him a hard time about it.

And have him write down his MySpace URL for you. And as for his cell phone number, he probably didn't give you the area code. Usually when someone lives somewhere else, the area code is different, and you'd need it to call them. And it's still early. He'll call you eventually.

I really want to start writing songs. I have a piano and I really want to start experiementing with it and my voice and the sounds I can produce. Regina Spektor is my idol idol idol. She has the sweetest voice ever and is so awesome on the piano. I have things I want write about but I just don't know how to get it down it's sort of swimming around in my brain like fishys :). I’m sure you would agree with me in me saying drugs are bad, but I’ve made some pretty bad mistakes and I think I may be addicted. For a few months, I’ll say about 7; I’ve been using prescription drugs like hydrocodone and oxycodone. Sometimes I eat them, sometimes I snort them. A friend of mine warned me about addiction, and I’m a little worried that I could be. I’m pretty much an everyday user, and even in school, friends and even teachers tell me I should cool it. I take more and more each time, and when I didn’t have my “fix” I felt horribly sick…I didn’t even wanna go to school. [Usually, I’m pretty good about school, since I got caught skipping it.] I’ve noticed odd symptoms like nausea, headaches, nosebleeds, dizziness, blurred vision, irritability, irrational thoughts, stomach pain…and a lot more. I just don’t want to tell my mom about it, because I told her I’ve been sober since summer. And my brother knows about it, because he uses too, but since I’m younger than him, I’m afraid he’d nark on me or something. My mom doesn’t care when he comes home high, only because he’s an adult. I’m 16 and a girl, so she doesn’t like me doing it, also because of my little sister. I’ve tried to stop, and I did for a long time, but I always get back into it. A friend of mine also told me I was going through withdrawal [when I mentioned sickness]…could I possibly be addicted to opiates?

Yeah, you sound pretty addicted. I would definitely tell your mom. She's gonna get pissed at you; that's a definite; but you need to tell her so she can get you help. Have you ever thought about the fact that if you don't stop, you're gonna end up overdosing yourself & dying? Or just getting really, really sick? I would definitely get some help, because you're probably gonna end up dying. And that's not good either.

And you say your mom doesn't care about your brother since he's an adult? That's fucking idiotic. She should care about him being high off this shit too, adult or not because you both are on the same path. Way to be a good example for your little sister, right? She's gonna grow up thinking what you & your brother do is okay & she's gonna fuck her life up too.
