Writing songs
I really want to start writing songs. I have a piano and I really want to start experiementing with it and my voice and the sounds I can produce. Regina Spektor is my idol idol idol. She has the sweetest voice ever and is so awesome on the piano. I have things I want write about but I just don't know how to get it down it's sort of swimming around in my brain like fishys :). If anyone could help that'd be so great thank you!!
PS. please don't tell me to buy a book or go out and get something.

hey, well there`s two options here. a} just go for it and write down what you feel. things could get messy and come out completly wrong, but who knows - something amazing could happen! b} enroll is piano/singing lessons. that way they will teach you the basics and even if you know the basics, practice makes perfect! tell them were your struggling - song writting. they will probably be able to target that spot with you.

Take a piece of paper and sit in a comfy spot that makes you feel relaxed and do some brainstorming. Write down the ideas you want to write a song about & what words go with that topic, then work your way from there going bit by bit.

You've got ideas right? So just put your pen to paper & just write. It'll come out how it's supposed to.
