Okay well, I have my lip pierced on the left side. Not a labret like you want. But it should feel exactly the same since they're both on the lip. And I also have my nose piereced, and honsestly..My nose would have to be the 2nd most painful piercing I've got. I have my ear lobes, cartilage, nose, lip, and belly button. Belly button hurts the worst, nose the seconds, lip third, and since I don't remember how my ears felt, I can't list those. BUT the nose is way more painful then the lip, I can tell you that. The healing proccess for the nose is very painful, and it can scar easily since it's cartilege. But if you have a liceneced piercer doing it, you should be perfectly fine.
The way they do it is they'll mark it where you want it with a pen..Then clean it, get the needle ready. They'll count to three then push the needle through where you want the piercing. After they've done this they'll follow the needle through with the piercing, and there you go. :]
They'll inform you on how to take car of it, and when you can take it out/change it. All that good stuff.
Oh, and that last picture that you said scares you is a girl who just got the needle part of the nose piercing done. She hasn't gotton the jewelery put in yet. I don't know why they put that orange surgical stuff on it, probibly for sanitary reasons? Or it could be in a differnt country, so they do it differntly. But I hope this helps a bit. :]

I've got my nostril pierced.
Getting it done was fine. Of course it stings for a short amount of time, but it's very bareable.
Cleaning it was a doddle too.
But there's one thing you must look out for.
It's called a nostril bump.. and 5 months down the line, I still have mine. They're hard to get rid of, but they don't exactly pose a threat to the piercing. It will go away... eventually.
So if you get it done and see a red bump forming next to your piercing which looks like a pimple, don't fret.
Use tea tree oil to clean it and it disappears after a while.
Don't let the "pain" scare you away :)! ]
the last picture wasn't an infection. She had bedadine on her nose to clean it (it's like iodine and looks gross, used mainly for cleaning belly button piercings)
Lip piercings don't hurt at all, it's just really uncomfortable!
Nose piercings hurt a bit, but the pain goes away after a few seconds.
Just remember to keep the piercings clean and follow the directions the piercer gives you exactly so you wont get an infection.
EDIT: What I meant by uncomfortable is that it doesn't hurt, but it's not something that feels really good. Don't worry, it doesn't last long. ]
A girl I used to be friends with pierced her nose herself, and she said it didn't hurt at all. But, the pain is different for everybody. So, it hurts for some, but not for others. As for the lip piercings, most of my friends had their's done & some of my friend's had swollen lips & couldn't talk or eat, and some of my friends didn't even feel it & they could still talk/eat normally with no pain.
The last picture: her nose got severely infected. She probably got pierced somewhere dirty.
Make sure that when you're gonna get it pierced that they open all the packaging for the needles & whatnot in front of you. If they already have it laid out & ready to go when you get there, turn around & go somewhere else. That's a sign that they're not clean, and you'll probably get an infection.
Also, if they don't explain everything to you [what they're gonna do, what they're gonna use, how it's done, what you should do to clean it & keep it safe of infection], then you shouldn't be there. Haha, and you'd need to find yourself another piercing shop. Good luck with your piercing though hun! ]
