guy problem

Question Posted Monday March 19 2007, 6:46 pm

13/f, kinda popular.
so i am desperatley in love with this guy
i have liked him since last year. we have been pretty good friends. my friends have told him alot of times about me liking him but he just ignores it. my guy friend is friends with him and tryed really hard to get us to go out but he didn't. then this girl asked him out and he was pressured to say yes because everyone new she asked him. then a couple weeks later he broke up with her and said that he never really liked her and that she was annoying. i kinda stopped liking him during that time but now i sit by him in science and fell for him again. i no i can never forget him so i really need help. i cant just go up and ask him to go out with me because i am really shy with guys, but i have talked to him as friends. a school dance is coming up if that helps. i really need your help asap! thanks in advance!~

Just flirt with him, and ask him to the dance. If things go well at the dance or whatever, ask him out to the movies. If things continue to go well, maybe he'll ask you out to be his girlfriend or something. =)

that's perfect. i've had this happen to me. i fell in love with my best guy friend. it wasn't easy. i ended up asking him out, but he rejected me. you should ask him to go to the dance, if he's not really a go-to-dance person. MAKE him go, if he really doesn't wanna. just make sure he goes. then, when he is there, ask him to dance with you in a slow dance. just talk to him. easy-talk, you know. like, "hey. how's it going? you liking the dance?" blah blah blah. it's one step to being closer with him, even for 3 minutes. before and after the dance, you should keep talking to him. get to know him better, be a better friend, since yall are already good friends. you should wait, though. since you know that you like him, it's up to him to feel the same to you. if you ask him out at the wrong time, that might be the end of that. and you can't really afford that right now. if he asks you out, and you don't like him anymore, it'll give him something to think about - why he never asked you earlier, etc. just wait. patience is the key. yea, very cliche, but it's true.

hope i helped.
if you need anything else, just message me!
