so,i want to get my cartilage pierced, but my friend says that the gun goes so fast it shatters your cartilage( if you get it done professionally )
so i was wondering, is that true?

I've had my cartilidge pierced 5 different times, and nothing bad has ever happened to me. I think that there's a chance of it shattering your cartilidge, but I highly doubt it would, it MUST be rare. Make sure you get it done professionally though. You're supposed to keep cartilidge piercings in for a year without taking it out, but most professionals now say 3-6 months! Not 2 weeks that's total bullshit, you can irritate & infect it!! Good luck, it's the best ever, you should definitely get it! =)

hello! i am 13. im having my second child (i had my first when i was 11, her name is Amy). For my first baby, i told my parents and they were so happy! They felt stupid because they are going to be GRANDparents at 26 but i told them its not a big deal! So when i had Amy, it was totally natural! I felt so good and proud. The two of us have been living at my parents house for 2 years now. The father of my Amy, is now the father of Tommy, my bun in the oven! ;) I love him so much and he loves me. My parents love him too. He doesnt have any parents really. Well he does, but he runs away and stays away for a really long time. He is 11 right now. I think he should come live with me, amy and tommy! i havent brought it up with my parents yet though.

i thought it was the coolest thing that amy and her dad were so close in age, because they would probably be really close. Amys 2 and she can talk really well. She LOVES her dad and me.

my problem is, will Amy feel left out? will tommy not like his daddy or me? tommy's due date is tomorrow so for moms out there, you kno that my stomach is rubbing agenst the keyboard right now. but it feels good, i love pregnancy!

I'm a girl, Ive never had sex or anything like that but i think i might have a Yeast Infection because it feels like its burning 'down there' and sometimes it hurts when i pea. idk what to do or even if i have one please give me some advice. Is it normal for a 14 year old to get a Yeast Infection?

Ugh, I've had that before & it definitely sucks. It's like the worst possible thing I've ever experienced before, & hopefully I never get it again.

First of all it's not a yeast infection. I don't exactly know the name of it, maybe UTI? But, I'm not sure if it'd exactly be that. The only reason for this is because you're not drinking enough water, maybe you are - but not enough. You need to drink A LOT of water, because water goes through your body faster, and you'll pee out the bacteria faster. So make sure you drink loads of water.

Don't worry about it too much, just drink water & it'll go away. If it keeps up after 3 days, then I suggest telling your mom, and you can get over the counter stuff for it at a pharmacy. Not sure what it's called, but if you im me later I'll look it up for you.

It's really up to you, everyone has their own personal preference on whether or not they wear underwear under their dresses. Depending on the type of underwear & the type of dress. If you're wearing a dress that's tight, then I'd suggest wearing no underwear or a thong, because you wouldn't want to see your panty lines through the dress. But if it poofs out, it wouldn't really matter. Also, if you were wearing a short dress then it would matter if you wore underwear - but with a long dress it wouldn't really matter? You get what I'm saying? =)=)

Haha, ohh the strapless dresses. Well, I had one last year for my Freshmen dance & it did keep falling down! But, it will stay up, you just have to periodically pull it up every once and a while to make sure it doesn't fall down. Unless you get a super tight one, which would look kinda funny because it would like suck you in at the top and then like your chest area would like hang over the top of the dress. Also, it does matter - because if you don't have boobs then I doubt it'd stay up unless it was super tight.

On Friday (16th) I'm going to visit my aunt in Florida. I live in NJ, so I'm taking a plane down with my dad to see her. The thing is, ever since 9\11 I have been PETRIFIED to fly. I've gone on vacation a few times after that and I cried pretty much the entire way to our vacation spot I was so scared. I'm really trying to get over this, or at the very least figure out a way to calm myself down. Anyone have any ideas?

Ahh. Oh my gosh, I've been in your situation before. I've rode so many planes since 9/11 by my self and I was scared SHITLESS. Especially since my dad would be an ass the night before I'd have to fly alone and mention the whole thing that happened on 9/11! =(

The best thing that you could possibly do to take your mind off of the whole thing is listen to music, like take a cd player & headphones, and just listen to it. That's what I did to pass the time away. Chances are nothing will happen, everyone gets worried, whether or not they think about 9/11 or just the plane crashing for some unknown reason.

But, everyone seriously is probably in your boat & worried that something might happen. So that might make you feel a little better. Plus there will be business people on your plane that have to travel like every week so they've gotten used to it! =) Seriously, don't worry about it. There's nothing to be afraid of! =) Flying is a lot of fun besides the whole thing worrying about 9/11 & terrorists and all of that right? I love flying, lol. =P Sorry, over excitement.

[Maybe you already do, but say youre willing to do more, for more money.] Also, you could just have like a yardsale outside of your house or something, if you don't really want to do the whole EBAY thing. Blah, I'm really not sure for anything else, like if you already have a job then there's not much else you can do, because with school & everything you might not have enough time. Well, I agree with the person below me. I don't think those places have sales, and if they do - rarely. I think the best time to go shopping, and maybe get sales in those stores would be sometime into September, after school starts. That's when people really don't go shopping & they'll need customers.

Try the new spray and wash duo. Apply the liquid on the stain, then soak your clothes for about 20 mins or more. Then wash. That should do the trick. :)

Hey I just got my cartilage pierced yesterday and Im cleaning it more than is required cause I dont want it to get infected. I cleaned it for the 3rd time today and noticed a really light red color on the cotton I was using. Should I worry about this?

I've had my cartilidge pierced 5 different times in 5 different places, so I can tell you that you have nothing to worry about! It's just blood, and it's just doing that because you just got it pierced yesterday. The best advice I can give you is try not to do it as hard, you might be turning the earring too much, or you could be pressing to hard. It could also be because you're cleaning it three times a day, it might get irritated, so maybe you should stick to only two times a day, and then whenever you've had it in a little longer clean it more!

I'm in the process of losing weight, so this is what I do & it pretty much seems to be working:

* Drink loads of water, no soda or anything, just water!!
* Exercise regularly. If your not used to it, then start out easy by taking a walk, or maybe jogging? It might be hard at first, but you need to find out where your boundaries are, and where you can possibly exercise to.
* Eat regular portions. I know "regular" portions, whats that, huh? It's just don't eat until your full, it takes your brain 15 minutes to realize that your full [fact], eat slower, then what you usually would do.
* Make sure you eat a breakfast, lunch, & dinner. If you skip a meal, then you'll eat a lot more then what you would if you wouldn't have skipped that ONE meal.
* Don't stop eating and don't throw up. That's definitely not where you want to be. It can put you in a serious deadly situation.
* Stop snacking, as hard as it maybe just stop. Maybe you could just try cutting down? If you eat like 3 snacks a day, then cut it down to 1 or 2. Replace a bag of chips with an apple or some type of fruit. Treat your self with a bag of chips or a soda once a week. Or when your just starting off one bag of chips or one soda a day. I wouldn't suggest that though, because eating that everyday wouldn't be too healthy. =(

Like the person said first, sit ups are the things to do for your stomach. When you should stop is when it starts hurting, just push yourself more & more.

Running, walking, jogging, riding a bike, & dancing are ways you can lose weight too!

Aww, I think you just need to let time pass, and see how things go. Stay close and be friends. But, just wait a while - like a couple weeks or even months. Maybe later on you both will realize that you two need each other, you know you want her, and she probably still wants you. I know it's hard for you guys to answer specific questions like this one if you've never met me or the guy i'm about to tell you 'bout. But thanx if you can give me your honest opinion on this, i'll rate you if your advice helped me!

Okay, so there's this guy I like. I'm on his bus. His locker's kind of near mine, and his house is within walking distance. We used to talk a whole lot last year, but we don't really talk to much now..I mean, we still do, but not as much.

So anyways. I have some signs that he likes me too. They are -
-when he passes me in the hall sometimes, he doesn't say hi, but he says "ew, it's you!" in a flirty kind of way..then he smiles at me.
-he always laughs when i try to make a joke or be funny
-one of his friends talks about me and the guy i like when i am alone with his friend (he just talks about conversations we've all had and stuff..nothing too important..)
-he always tries to sit near me on the bus, if he can. but sometimes he'll try to sit with his friends. Sometimes he even sits with me, but that was only twice.

Also- there are some signs he doesn't like me. They are:
-He flirts A LOT with other girls, not just me.
-He asks other girls if they like him (BUT NOT ME)
-He says he doesn't like me (my idiodic friend asked him one day! now he avoids me a lot, cause he has the right idea, that i DO like him!)
-He also tries to sit next to this one girl who I HATE (cause she's pretty and seems like she's perfect, pretty much everything that i'm not!)
-His friends and him talk about me sometimes, and they were calling me retarted and stuff..but that's just the way boys are lol

I'm SO sorry this is so long, but my real question is - do you think there is any way I can get his attention on ME and not other girls? Well, from what I see the things he does towards you are signs that he could possibly like you. But boys are boys you know how they are, they flirt with every girl possible. Do you think it's possible he knows that you like him? That's why he doesn't want to ask you? Or maybe he doesn't want to ask you just in case you might say no, then that might make your relationship awkward?

I think since you guys were closer last year more then this year you need to talk to him a lot more so you can get to be as close as you were last year. But, I definitely don't think you should give up on this kid, try & actually have a conversation with him asking him who he likes and stuff! See, if he actually likes the girl that you hate, or if he likes you back! =)

I think you need to wait a little longer, until he makes one of those obvious moves, like touching or actually telling you. As long as it doesn't change shape, color or size, it is nothing to be concerned about. If it makes you that self-conscious, you can visit a dermatologist and ask about having it removed. If a girl really liked you enough to have sex with you, the last thing she should worry about is a birthmark on your penis, it shouldn't even matter if she loves you. =)

I have never had my nails done professionally. But i wanna go like tomorrow and get them done before school starts because i figured it would take me a day or so to get used to them..so im giving myself until thursday...day classes start. Yeah...so on average, how much does it cost to get acrylics...with like the white tips or whatever. Hey! I got acrylic nails done for a dance once, only for that time, I can't really stand them because you have to careful & it just annoys me, so I only had it done once. It costed $36 for the whole set, [tips.] Depending on the type of nail person you go to, you might be able to get different colored tips. The person I went to didn't have them, she only had white tips. But, you can definitely get them at places. It might not be that much more money, & it might not be at all. You'd have to call places around you and gather prices! (: Good luck.
