i just joined track last friday, and to tell you the truth i'm not the best runner. i'm good at shot put, long jump, and hurdles, but we have to run a mile everyday and i'm a long distance runner. how can i be a better runner, because if i start running for like 10 seconds i get tired. thanks!
Keep in shape, and eat healthily. You shouldn't expect to be good immeadiately though because no one is good at something they've just started doing. Practice makes perfect. You're gonna hear it all your life, so get used to it.

ok i just turned 13, and i have not gotten my period yet. i have some pads and today i was curious so i tried one on. well it didn't fit right it seemed a little too big. but i got the smallest size. well i tried putting on using the directions (i'm using always). well i'm still using hanes girls and i put it on it feels uncomfortable. but then again, its my first time wearing a pad. so please tell me if its supposed to feel that weird, and also tell me anything i need to know about my period kuz i live with my dad, AND I CANT TELL ANYONE ELSE!

Well, you don't need that thick of a pad yet because for one, your period hasn't even come, and it won't be all that heavy since it'll be your first one. Pads will be uncomfortable & hard to get used to the first time you wear them, but I'd get like the ultra thin pantiliners. You can barely feel those because they're like paper thin.
As for more about your period, it's basically when you shed your utures[sp?] lining, and you just bleed a lot & get horrible cramps. You crave chocolate like crazy [don't give in though, it'll make your cramps worse] and you won't feel like going anywhere because you'll be so uncomfortable. Just tell your dad though because you're gonna have to tell him about your boyfriends and your friends and your bra if you're not wearing one already.
sorry if this is long but i really need advice ok i live with my dad, and i need to get bras, i need/want a cupped bra, but
1. i don't know wat size i am and i dont know how to figure it out.
2. and i dont know which 1 would be right for me
i would like to have 1 regular sports bra, 1 regular cupped bra, and 1 sports bra that is sorta cupped. how many bras do you think i should need? how do i get those bras with my dad?

Go with a friend. Just ask your dad for some money to go shopping, and have your friend who already wears bras to come with you. You can usually tell someone's size by looking at them, so maybe she can help. You should buy more than 3 bras though because you do have to change your bra everyday. Sports bras should usually be worn to sleep, and a regular bra should be worn when you're not wearing the sports bra.
But if you don't wanna go with a friend, just explain it to your dad. He's not exactly female like you would've hoped, but I'm sure he'll be glad that you told him. Besides, you're gonna have to tell him about your boyfriends, your friends & your period, so start with your bras.
ok my thighs are kinda fat when im standing but when i sit down they get like elephanormous!! they are huge!! my question is how can i get them smaller or skinnier please help me i wanna be a cheerleader next year and it isnt cute wearing a tiny skirt with fat thighs nad how do u get rid of love handles caz that also isnt cute with a tiny shirt!

- Eat healthy. Fruits, veggies & meats are essential.
- Drink 8 glasses of milk a day and eat yogurt [preferably Yoplait Light & Fit]. If you're lactose intolerant like me, then eat dairy sparingly so you don't get sick.
- Drink 4 glasses of water a day.
- Cut junk food out. No more desserts, no more munchies, no more candy, no more soda & no more fast food. If you're gonna eat it, make sure you eat only a small portion & make sure you don't go completely overboard with it.
- Run alot. I'm not saying to run a mile in a day, but work your way up to it. Once you can run a mile, trying going for 2, then when you conquer 2, try 3 and so on. Don't run fast though, because you'll get tired & give up. Pace yourself.
- Join a gym. They have machines that target certain areas of the body, and if you ask a trainer, they should be able to help you out. [And if you don't wanna go alone, invite a friend along, or bring your ipod & listen to music. It'll make the time go by faster.]
DONT's
- Don't eat or exercise before bed. If you eat before bed, it's gonna be really hard to digest while sleeping since basically your whole body shuts down, and you'll just gain weight. And if you exercise before bed, your muscles won't be relaxed, so you'll be antsy & it'll be hard to fall asleep.
- When you see results, DO NOT STOP. Keep going because if you stop right then, you'll just gain all your weight back. So once this healthy lifestyle starts to suit you, don't give it up at all. For the rest of your life, because if you do everything you've worked for will just have been a big waste of time.
- Don't be discouraged if you gain weight. Muscle weighs more than fat. =)
