advice

My wife seem to masterbait alot, Is this ok or should I talk to her about it, ( 2 to 3 times a week ) Thats what she tells me, I asked her what she is thinking about and she say's real dirty things Can you help J.D.

It's normal. Talk to her about it. Maybe she wants to have sex with you more often? You never know until you talk to her.

ok there is this boy who is in my lunch hour and i have a question. I don't know if you are good at reading body language but maybe you can help me. When he eats, he bites the food normally then when he starts to chew it he put his fist in front of his mouth. My mom says it's because he has some sort of insecurity about his mouth. What do you think?

Oh, I do that all the time.

It's just polite. Like, covering your mouth so no food comes out.

It's not as bad as this girl I know that just like.. nibbles on her food. LOL!

my boyfriend was hurt in the past by his ex girlfriend he was in love with her and thought that she felt the same way until she had sex with another guy,: how do i convince and get him to realize i won't do that to him i won't hurt him?

Tell him that you are NOT her. There's no way you're going to do exactly what she did.

If he's going to not trust you, you probably shouldn't be in the relationship for much longer, because relationships are based on trust.

I guess just keep showing him how trustworthy you are.

ok i'm not trying to sound stupid but how do you tell when a guy has a boner through his jeans. I was with my bf and was trying to tell but you know how guys pants bunch up there and it was hard to tell. It really bothers me cuz i want to know.

Most guys hide it really well for the exact purpose of not letting anyone know.

So if you're trying to figure it out, you probably won't be able to.

I guess if there's like an odd bulge that other guys don't have, then that's probably it.

okay this may be a stupid question but i was trying to figure out my class rank and all i did was divide my position by the number of students right? i mean i don't know how else to figure it out. But i got that i was in the top 5% of my class and that didn't seem right. So my rank is #28 out of 488. So does that mean I'm in the top 5%???

Being in the "top 5%" means your rank is somewhere between 1 and 28, for a class of 488 people.

Normally, when they give the percent, that's where you actually lie on the scale.

So, I think it's safe to say that you're 28 or maybe 27?

Ask your counselor, but the top 5% is REALLY good. That's something to be proud of =]

I haven't heard about North Korea in a couple of weeks. Yeah, I don't have T.V. or anything and I'm gone a lot anyway. Last I heard, N. Korea was threatening to test bombs or something...IDK! It bothers me though and I didn't see any articles on my homepage today about them and wondered what happened. What's going on with North Korea now? Anybody know?

Relax, they're not going to bomb the U.S.

Just because they're testing bombs doesn't mean they're going to send them to the U.S.

We test bombs, but do you see us bombing North Korea? Ok, so that's not the best logic against them bombing us, but they aren't going to.

Besides, if they were going to, it's probably not going to be your city, unless you live in NYC or Los Angeles or some populous city.

I have a daughter and she is 12 years old. She is a bit overweight. But does not look it.
She's 5'3, 12, and weighs 139 lbs. My question to you all is do you think that she is overweight, and if so, what can she do, that is fun, to lose weight?
Thanks!
(P.S.-It won't hurt my feelings if you say she is, I just want the honest to God truth(: Thanks again!)

No, she isn't overweight.

Her BMI [Body Mass Index] is 24.6, which is in the "Normal" range.

If she just plays outside a lot, and maybe does a sport, she might get in shape.

But she isn't overweight.

is it legal to light a fire on the beach for cooking

Like Christina said below, if there's no place to have a fire, like a fire pit, then don't do it.

Your best bet is to just have a bonfire at home. =]

if you go skinny dipping with a guy and you fool around and he cums can you get pregnant? or will the water kill it, what about ocean water?

If sperm enters your vagina, you can get pregnant.

Water does not kill sperm.

hey i am going into high school in september and i am kinda scared. everyone says it is awesome but others say theirs drugs (especially at our school) and that since i am new to the school they dont really care about you. i also dont wanna take the bus to school. And i am kinda scared of the gr. 11 and 12's. any tips or guidance would be GREATLY appreciated thnxs!!

Hello.

I was a freshman three years ago- and I have to say.. it was one of the most scary things I've EVER experienced! I was thrown in the trash can on the first day and it was horrible. Some kid even had to go to the emergency room! It was the WORST first day of school of my entire life! I almost didn't go back!

Haha- so hopefully you didn't take that seriously- because it really wasn't like that at all. I always play that trick on people who ask this question. C'mon- I gotta have a little fun! High school is NOT scary. It actually is a lot more fun. You have more freedoms than middle school and you can take REALLY awesome classes. If you have to chance to take a Speech class- DO IT! You think it will be the dumbest class ever and you'll be really bored- but you get the chance to get really good at speeches- and you'll learn really awesome things! When you get to be a Junior/Senior- take AP and Honors classes- these will impress colleges and they will want you to go to their college if you do well enough on them.

People may tell you that Freshmen year doesn't count for anything- so slacking off won't matter until you're an upperclassmen. This is wrong. Colleges will look at your cumulative GPA- and that includes your freshmen year. Don't slack off; you'll regret it later.

Just to debunk the rumor- There is NOT a "Freshmen Friday". Sure, this used to exist back in the 60s and 70s, but it doesn't anymore. Any school that actually still does it will probably end up getting sued by a bunch of parents. So most don't do it. Chances are, your high school won't do it.

Here is my list of DOs and DON'Ts:

Do:
-Do all of your homework.
-Make new friends [some old ones will naturally just fade away] and do this by just starting up simple conversations with people- and it will eventually lead to a great friendship. Ask someone you may want to get to know for a pencil in class.. that's a classic. Sit with new people at lunch.
-Ask the teacher for help if you need it.

Don't:
-Don't talk to seniors.. they most likely DON'T like you. The won't give you any respect.
-Don't wear revealing clothing- seniors will automatically hate you.

All in all- if you just be yourself- you'll be fine. If you have upperclassmen in any classes- you'll get to know them over the course of the year- and you may end up meeting some really great people. I know that some of my best friends I met at school freshmen year- and most of them were 10th grade or older. Not all seniors hate you- some will be welcoming- but just assume the worst in them, at first. After awhile- you'll know who to avoid and who to warm up to. You'll be fine. Don't worry.

As for the drugs and whatnot, stay away from them. It's not worth it to mess up your life like that. Be smart. People don't normally just approach you and ask you.

The bus is fine. Hopefully you'll turn the age to get your license in your sophomore year, so you won't have to tolerate the bus for all of high school.

What's the best brand of peanut butter?

Personally I like Jiffy.

I used to love Peter Pan, but then it got salmonella traces found in it, or whatever, and I haven't had it since. I mean, the problem is obviously fixed, but we started buying Jiff.

on texts from last night:

if you see area codes like these:

(405)
(1-405)

what does it mean with the 1 in front of the area code? just to distinguish between the two people texting in the same area code?

i know 1 means its a cell phone, right? but you can only text between 2 cells..

The one is part of the number.

I think on that website, it's just to show it's from a different person.

By the way, I think that is the most HILARIOUS website ever.

I usually get them if I eat a lot of foods high in salt.

Some people seem to know what certain things in dreams mean. I was wondering how do people know this? I mean, is there a book of dream meanings or something? I've asked people before about what my dreams mean and they pick out stuff and tell me what symbolizes what and what means this and that. How do they know?

Certain things symbolize other things.

Like an eagle represents pride or justice.
Clouds represent unclear things.

People pick out objects and see what they symbolize.

Honestly, I don't think the symbols accurately interpret your dreams.

Dreams are manifestations of what your day was. Your brain is constantly working, especially at night. Your mind just plays back your day in a different way; it's a way to interpret the information.

Dreams usually mean nothing.

My friend keeps saying that when we're about to get offline from chatting and it's bugging me. We will be talking a lot and then it'll be like:

Me: Well, I need to take a shower so...
Him: So, that's my cue!
Me: Uh...what?
Him: Goodnight! TTYL

What does that mean?!

That's my cue?!? What?

That means you saying you were taking a shower was his "cue", or "reminder" or "sign" that he needed to take one, too.

A cue is something that triggers something else to happen. So your saying "I need to take a shower" was his cue to take one, also.

What's the best John Steinbeck book? I've read the Red Pony and really liked it. I heard the Grapes of Wrath but was unsure if it was worth the read (is it?). I'd like to read some more of his books though. Any recommendations on what to read next by John Steinbeck?

I read The Pearl, and it was good, but I didn't like it because I had to read it for school.

I'm sure if I read it outside, I would like it.

I'm going to read The Grapes of Wrath this summer, so I guess I can let you know how it is. I've heard two things: absolutely amazing or really stupid.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. ;]

question on herpes.

there are different types

so if someone has non-harmful type 1 where they get
blisters/sores on their mouth and they go down on someone else, will that do anything? because isn't genital herpes caused by herpes type 2?

The first columnist is wrong. Herpes Simplex 1 on the mouth can give someone genital herpes if they "go down on" them.

So, don't do it. Wait until the cold sore is COMPLETELY gone for at least a few weeks.

So.. um. My best friend is starting the last year of high school this year, and her mom is very sick and is going to die. Lately she has been in a very bad psychological state, depressed and stuff like that. She has been drinking quite a lot, and when she was drunk the other day she started telling me stuff like she doesn't know what to do if her mother dies, and half her life is going to go away and stuff like that. She also said she's happy she has all of us (her friends) and stuff, but generally she sounded like she was really in a horrible mental state.

Can you please give me advice on what I can do?

Well, my best friend's father passed away last November. It wasn't known like your friend knows, but maybe my situation can help.

The best thing you can do is be a friend. Obviously, she'll need her friends to be there for her to just listen to her and be there, even if you have nothing to say, but she also will need time to be alone and think.

For now, tell your friend to spend as much time with her mother as possible, which I hope she will.

Once her mother is gone, be a good friend. Try to get her mind off of it, but at the same time, if she wants to talk about it, by all means do.

I guess my advice is for you to be there for her and be as good of a friend as you can.

i still dont get what a T9 is on a phone. is that opposed to a phone where you have a stylus clicking on the screen to type?

T9 is where you just type out the word by only pressing buttons once.

So if I wanted to say "hello", I would press:

43556

If I wanted to type "lol", I would press:

565

It guesses what you want to say, so you can text faster, because pressing buttons like five times gets irritating.

Phones with keyboards don't require t9word because you have all the letters available to you.

Sometimes i feel like giving up when something goes wrong. I am so depressed i don't have any close friends my boyfriend just broke up with me i don't know what to do???? HELP!!!!

Who cares about your ex boyfriend? He's probably a jerk anyway!

Close friends are sometimes over-rated. I mean, sure, they are nice, but they can get into your business and it can get annoying.

Anyway, like Laura said, focus on the positive. Think about your family. They love you. As much as it may seem like they don't, I'm sure they do.

I suggest you get a pet. My pets are my best friends, honestly, because you can talk to them and they just listen and don't judge you. I suggest a cat, because they know when you're sad and they can comfort you.
