I don't know where you are from or what your medical background is.
In the United States it is required that you you have a pap smear before being prescribed the pill as well as a pregnancy test. It is also required each year before the prescription is renewed.
I am 48 years old. I am an EMT. I have worked in
an emergency room and worked as a medical assistant in a doctors office.
They do these tests because they want to make absolutely sure you are not pregnant before prescribing the pill. It will cause birth defects in pregnant women.
They will not prescribe it before the tests because in this lawsuit happy world we live in medical malpractice insurance rates close a lot of clinics and offices all by themselves. Add a hefty payout from prescribing the pill to a pregnant woman and causing a baby to be born with a defect...well, most doctors are not going to risk that.
So as you can see, I do know what I am talking about. There may be teens dispensing incorrect medical advice on this site, I am not one of them.
Of you do not live in the United States then your country may currently not have the same rules. :)

well i was camping with my sis bf and his family for 3 days and i met one of his cousins like months ago and i saw him when we was camping. well me and him went walking on the beach at mdnight till like 3 in de moring, we was talking for hours, he was laying with me in my tent etc so i don't no if he likes me or not what do youn think? Hey I recently asked a question about banks acocunts.
So i was wondering, if I did decide to use Chevy Chase Bank, could i get a Visa credit card, or would it HAVE to be a chevy chase bank card? (link)

It will say both usually. It will say Visa in large print but will have the banks name on it in small print. Most banks use Visa or one of the major credit card companies. Even for debit cards. :)

to get to the point my boyfriend has this friend. who stole car radios blammed it on my boyfriend. he stole a cell phone and my boyfriends friend told the cops my boyfriend did it. he recently (couple days ago) showed up at my boyfriends house wanting to hang out. i called my boyfriend and his friend in the back fround was making rude comments. about me trying ot think my boyfriend was cheating. my boyfriend promised he would make him leave his house by the time i got there i pulled up in the drive and didnt even get out of the car his friend was still there and was going to be hanging out with us. (my boyfriend and i have been fighting lately we needed sometime alone to work things out) so i pulled out of the drive and left this happened yesterday. he left and hasnt been home since then. hes at that kids house. i dont no how to get ahole of him i been in panic for over 24 hours. and im pregnant. im scared. i dont know what to do PLEASE HELP (link)

I hate to say it but if your boyfriend is still friends with someone who blamed robberies on him
then there is probably some truth in it. Someone
blames me for something I didn't do then they are history.
Sounds to me like you have one big problem with him. I know raising a child on your own is going to be tough, but I would consider dumping the boyfriend. He is going to cause you nothing but misery and if things don't change with him you'll be visiting him in jail. :)

Yes all ATMs take credit/debit cards.
The Chevy Chase Bank is probably only in your area. But unless you are moving to California you can use the ATM. :)

Ok I always wondered if store clerks we allowed to go through costomers' purses & bags.I live in Missouri & I wonder if that`s the law or something. I heard that if the clerks do go through someones bag & they find nothing that was stolen they/the store can be sued. (link)

I don't know for sure. I would think though if police have to have a warrant to look through your things then a store clerk would have no right to look either.
I was a convenience store clerk at one time and we weren't allowed to do that. If we saw someone take something we were to call the police. You are right, doing so would be setting yourself up for all kinds of lawsuits.

This guy who is about a year older than me came here to florida to visit my friend's brother for a week. After knowing him for about three or four days, I started to like him. Yes, I know it's kind of sudden. He's incredibly funny, hot, smart, etc. But he's going back to Wisconsin today. I'm really sad now. Ughhh. Should I just try and stay in touch(If so, HOW?!) or just try to forget him somehow? (I always try to forget about a guy and it never works because a few months later something will remind me of him and it makes me really sad) (link)

I think you can keep in touch with him. You never know what might happen in the future, so why not write or email or IM each other and become even better friends in the meantime?

Ok I'm going into Highschool and the highschool im going into says that if you do a sport than you don't have to take gym. So I have the choice of track. And i really want to start running on track but im afraid of what rumors i heard like "running is bad for dancers ( i take dance every week. and i've been dancing like forever and i don't want to give it up.)

Level 2 and 3 Moderators can see who asks the question IF they go look. It isn't automatically shown. Level 1 moderators cannot.
In all honesty we don't usually look unless it is necessary. Like for instance if someone is being abusive.
We may also look if we want to email them. There are times when a user can be contacted and told to change something without having to ban them. Like when they write in all caps and things like that.
I don't think it is anything to worry about. There are not that many L2 and 3's and they don't
tell people who you are. If they did they would be banned themselves. :)

I'm crying right now because I'm not sure if my boyfriend is using me. Today, some girl I go to school with (who used to go out with my boyfriend) sent me a myspace comment that said "Your boyfriend said he thinks I'm beautiful and he wants to go back out with me and make out with me again. He's only going out with you to get hand jobs and blow jobs." I asked my boyfriend if it was true and he said no she's lying because shes just jealous. I don't really want to believe that girl because she's not really my friend and she's really sluttish she's done alot with guys and I know she still likes my boyfriend and wants to break us up, but maybe shes telling the truth and thats what scares me the most. I sent a comment to my boyfriend that said, "I heard you're using me for sex and I told you I wasn't ready yet so you can dump me right now or keep going out with me, but either way you're not getting ANYTHING past making out so don't even go there." I said that when I was really sad/pissed off so I kind of let out my anger. Who do I believe? How do I find out who really is telling the truth? I don't want to get myself hurt in the future. (link)

I think you believe your boyfriend. My first thought on reading your question was that she was just a jealous ex. Then read that your boyfriend said the same. You have to trust someone to have a good relationship. Don't let this ex girlfriend make you mad at him...that's exactly what she wants.
I think you need to get in touch with him about the message on myspace. Better yet, keeping in mind I know nothing about myspace, go there and apologise too. I don't know if she would have access to his myspace and what you wrote but you don't need her to see that she got to you. If she does she will continue telling you stories to make you wonder.
Everyone will get hurt at some time in their lives for trusting someone or loving the wrong person. Its just going to happen. I think you need to give this relationship more of a chance.
Never believe an ex. Especially if they may still have feelings for the person.

i am into a long distant relationship. my girl is in school (university). i dont see her often but i talk with her several times everyday. most times when i call at night she is usually with a guy she calls her casual friend, hanging outside her hostel with him till as late as midnight, almost every night. i asked if the guy doesnt have a gilrfriend to hang with and she says he doesnt. i have had haggles with her about 3 times asking if she is dating the guy but she insists that they are only friends and even says the guy is looking forward to meeting me and taking me out whenever i come to visit her. she even once asked if she should give the phone to the guy so that i talk to him but i was too angry to reply her at that time. i dont know if she is telling the truth. how can i find out if she is telling the truth? is it right for me to ask the guy outright (on the phone or in person) if he is dating her? i will be going to spend one or two nights in the town she is schooling from Monday. If you think about it logically if she was having an affair with this guy why would she talk about him with you? Why would he be interested in meeting you?
You want to be careful that your being jealous doesnt drive her right into this other guys arms.
So painful as it may be to keep the jealousy to yourself, I think you need to try.
Go meet him. Its possible you could become friends. If you feel a real need to ask him how he feels about your girl then do it in person. Don't have an attitude about it when you ask...just tell him you are curious about it. Admit to being jealous if you want to. Don't ask while she is there either. You don't need an argument! Then later tell her you asked him about it so she doesn't here it from him later and get pissed.
Good luck. I really don't think she is cheating. Don't let feelings of jealousy ruin your visit with her. :)

Chances are the brothers don't care who she is going out with. They probably won't be any trouble for you.
You just simply tell the girl that you like her just fine, you just don't want to be boyfriend/girlfriend any more. So long as you aren't mean to her they won't bother you. They have probably broke up with girls before themselves.
My husband suggests sitting around their house picking your nose and wiping it on their furniture. Then she would break up with you....Don't think I would try that one though. :)

I work with these two girls. Laura and michelle. Laura has been working there for 5 years & works full time. michelle has been there for 2 months & work part time. A month ago laura asked if she can get promotoed to shift supervisor & the store manager said you would have to drop the full time and go to part time. So she said no way. The store manager Then asked michelle if she would like to be Shift supervisor & she took the promotion.
Laura went to another manager and asked why she would have to go to part time and the manager said thats not true.
I was talking to michelle and asked why didnt Laura get the promotion since she has been here longer & she told me that the store manager said shes to slow and doesnt get the job done on time and doesnt believe she has what it takes to be a shift supervisor.
I'm the only one that knows why laura didnt get the promotion. And i feel really guilty because im keeping it from her. Question is should i tell her or just keep it from her?

Why hurt her feelings? I wouldn't say anything.
The ones who didn't promote her should be the ones feeling guilty.
If I were her I would also go over their heads and ask why someone who has been there as long as she as passed over for the job. If she can't do that then they may be right. Can't be meek and be a supervisor. :)
