your a mod right?

when you ask aquestion in the `get advice` section, can the mods see who is asking the question?

Level 2 and 3 Moderators can see who asks the question IF they go look. It isn't automatically shown. Level 1 moderators cannot.

In all honesty we don't usually look unless it is necessary. Like for instance if someone is being abusive.

We may also look if we want to email them. There are times when a user can be contacted and told to change something without having to ban them. Like when they write in all caps and things like that.

I don't think it is anything to worry about. There are not that many L2 and 3's and they don't
tell people who you are. If they did they would be banned themselves. :)
