I have a problem: I am a lonely introvert, and I try to get out and make friends. But my problems is that most people only want to talk about superficial things such as house, car, kids, job, and shopping. While I know those are what most people care about, these topics bore me to death. I like deeper conversations about philosophy or literature. I don't mean to be conceited, but it's hard to find smart people to talk to. Why can't I find anyone on my level? Should I dumb myself down to fit in? Any comments are appreiciated. Thank you! (link)

theres chat rooms online and people who would love to find someone else to talk about things that you have interests in, but dont 'dumb' yourself down to fit in, yea i know its nice to fit in, but if you dont want to you def dont have to. try the chat rooms! x0

Ok, well there is this guy that I like and he absolutely adores me. He asked me out but I said no, maybe sometime soon. I like him, I really do. But see, I don't know if we went out that it would work out. He likes to play video games and talks about them a lot. I could care less half of the time but I listen and try to be interested in what he is saying because I care if that makes sense. And well, I'm the kind of girl who really likes to cuddle and kiss and sometimes other things. I don't have sex or oral sex.. just other things if you catch my drift. I mean I can live without those things if I have to. So my question is, should I go out with this guy? What are your blunt opinions on if you think it'd work out for us or not? Thanks (link)

give the guy a chance, you never know play a game with him you'll have fun, my bf was the same way and i NEVER played video games like ever! but now since i gave him a chance, weve been together for over a year now =) see.. you never know, that dorky kid in the front row could be your soul mate ;D hehe, well give him a chance, it cant hurt. see what else he likes besides video games, tell him about yourself, i'm sure you guys have something in common! x0 good luck!

jc pennys or kaufmans, or just a normal store that sells nice skirts and shirts, kaufmans has a section for juniors and they just sell fancy dresses, skirts, and tops. their not expensive either! hope youll find something good! x0

I think I'm anorexic. But I might not be because everyone says that the first quality of an anorexic is denial. I don't know. My friends say that I am, because I don't eat much for lunch and most of the time don't eat lunch at all. I never considered myself underweight, but I guess I would be in like, the 10th percentile. What do you guys think?

i'm the same way! i barely eat alot, but i'm still not anorexic, anorexea is when you dont eat like at all.. you eat, i hope you eat more for dinner, but i'm the same way. but i also stay around my weight that i have been for almost 3 years, i really haven't gained nor lost any weight.. but i dont think your anorexic, you should just eat meals regularly and good portions of your food regularly. x0

I'm a girl, I have 2 good guy friends. I have a promise with one of them that i can't tell anyone.. well the other day me and the other guy friend got into a fight b/c i wouldn't tell him the promise i had. he said true friends have honesty. i figure that promises are deeper than honesty towards another friend. if i tell the secret, i lose the friend i have the promise with. if i don't tell, i lose the other friend. how can i just keep both guys my friends? okay, one of my kinda close guy friends [who likes me more than a friend] bought me a necklace for xmas... the thing is, he "forgot" to take off the price tag which was stuck on underneath the box.. it was $129.. the price tag was also inside the box kinda hidden under the necklace plate. obviously he wanted me to see how much it costed? lol what do u guyz think? Hey well i have a problem, this guy that i really liked my freshman year(know a senior). He lives with his girlfriend but his girlfriend, but she doesnt give him any sex and he comes to me. How would i know if he is using me or not? Please let me know i am desperate to know, he tells me he loves me and i dont know if i should believe him because he says he says that he will never hurt me. ok so i have had my period for almost three years now and the first two were regular. But i had surgery in the begining of july and i had my period at the end of july. But after that i havent had it, its been 5 months and i know tis sounds crazy but i want it. It sso annoying not noing wen ur gonna get it. Is this normal after having surgery? if it is then y did i get it in july and not after? (link)

HeY well i'm 13 and a female... i have a big problem and i dont know what to do about it. The problem is that i used to have two best friends, Allison and Roxy, and we were really close but one of us always got left out. We used to go to school together but then Roxy left so Allison and I got closer. Now we all go to the same school which we thought was going to be the best thing! But actually i kind of didnt want Roxy to come back and there's actually other people who agree with me. I got into a huge fight with Roxy and i wasnt talking to her but since my other Allison was talking to her so i stopped talking to her too. Now i'm getting along with Roxy but shes now not getting along with my Allison. I really want to stay best friends with Allison but not with Roxy. Roxy always gets mad at me when i talk to Allison. Roxy likes to be bossy and control people. She likes to be the center of attention. I'm alot more closer to Allison and at times wish to stop being friends with Roxy...but theres a catch. Roxy is my cousin. Right now both my family and Roxy's family are going through something really hard and we need to stick together so i dont want to get into a fight with her and stop being friends with her because our families will split. Now i have to hang out with Allison in secret and talk to her only on the phone after school in fear that Roxy will find out and get mad at me and our families will split. I'm sick of being scared of her well more like what her actions will cause. I'm not ashamed of hanging with Allison but i always hide the fact that I do...I need advice please please please...i dont know what to do...and right now my family is going through a divorce and i really dont need this! PLEASE help me.

wow crazy girls and drama.. but it happens to all girls and yes, it sucks, but the only way to deal with it is just to get along with everybody, dont worry about what other people might say or think, your life is about you! not about if Allison or whoever is going to be mad at you. these are the best years of your life, have fun! just talk to your friends about your problem with your family, i'm sure that they'll understand, and help you thru it cuz divorices are really hard on their kids, i know, my parents had one. but have fun in your life and MERRY CHRiSTMAS! x0

hmm.. try convincing her by showing her pictures of how you want it, different hair styles and see what she likes best and maybe you both can work it out, if not i guess that your just going to have to wait, but i know that if i like a hairstyle that my mom doesn't like, i try to work around it and then i eventually get what i want =) it always works out that way hehe. but bangs sound really cute! hope your mom gives in. aww hun, def tell him that you like him again, more than that special friend. i'm sure that it wont ruin anything that you guys have together already. things should be better altho he lives further away now but you guys could still talk on the phone, or since your feeling used, you could just end it altogether with him but still, of course, be friends with him.. you can go one way or the other, ask him out or just be friends and only friends. its all up to you, but what i think, just be friends because i know how it feels being used, and it hurts.. well hope you chose a good choice =). a healthy way to loose 13 pounds is to just go on a diet, watch what you at. and its healthy to loose at least one or 2 pounds per week.. more than that could be fatal to ones body. its just easy to watch what you eat, no junk food, or fast food, that greese and sugar isn't good for your body. hope this helps! A few days ago the guy I used to like asked me out... of course I said yes. Last night his friend dumped me for him. Later that night the same friend imed me saying how sry they are that they would do that to me. At first i was confused on what happened, but as they kept talking to me a realized that it was a joke. They made a bet that if i went out with him for a few days he would get money. I'm not mad b/c i still like him (now i hate him), I'm mad at them b/c they were my close friends and they thought it was ok to do something like that. The thing is, is that i'm not sure if i should forgive them, they were my friends and i know i might be sry if i never talk to them again.

my boyfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago and we got back together a couple of ays ago. I love him more than anything and I don't want to mess things up this time. When he broke up with me he didn't really give an explanation why he did it. And I couldn't get him to tell me, he would just say, "It's hard to explain." He had told me he loved me and we were about to do certain "things" but i don't know if he still wants to do those "things" So my question is do you think he still loves me? dont bring it up to him, because maybe thats the reason he broke up with you , i dont know why but it could be. well hopefully you guys will work things out, but all i know is that dont bring anything up from the past because itll make him upset then it would make you upset cuz you brought it up, but i dont know, hope things go well. well you see my dad just got up and left last night...he didnt tell anyone where he was going or when he would be back, we didnt even know he left...so after awile i called his cell...he answered and when i asked where he was he told me driving...i asked where, he siad the mountians when i asked when he'd be back he said WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT! and hung up!...i havent slept in my room becuz im scared he'll show back up and hurt me...hes a drunk and a very mean drunk...im really scared and upset becuz im daddy's lil girl and i want him home for christmas but aty the same time i wish he would leave forever! i dont know what to do anymore...plz if you have any advice plz tell me! the closer you are to him, the more hes going to hurt you hun. and no one wants to get hurt, seems to me that your parents are divoriced? im not quite sure but if they are, try spending time with your mother and telling her whats going on, or tell another relative, and since your dad drinks maybe when hes sober talk to him about things. i hope you have a good xmas either way! merry christmas! x0

im a 13/f n my bestfriend is 13/m i like him alot and we went to the movies yesterday with 2 other friends a boy and a girl. i was sitting inbetween the girl and my best friend n all during the movie he kept sorta kicking me and rubbing his leg against my leg. i thought it was cute. then he didnt mean to well at least i dont think he meant to, but he moved his hand like in between the seat and he touched my theigh a couple of times. i like him alot but do you think he was making moves on me? well he knows i like him but im sort of clueless right now!! thank you

My parents keep the house so so so so so cold...I'm always freezing and it's the middle of the winter...it's always like 60 in here, and I've told my parents so many times that I'm SO cold when its that cold, but they don't care. They say that they are comfortable that way, and that if they turn it up they will be too warm. I'm not the only one who thinks its too cold...friends or relatives who come over say its so cold! But, they don't have to live here!!! I DO!! What do I do??? (link)
