You won't need to go into anything else once you are in device manager. All you need to do is click on the 'Scan For Hardware Changes' button; sometimes it comes up as a symbol of a computer with a blue key across the screen. This will scan your computer for any new hardware and it should install itself.

If this doesn't work let me know. :]

Hmm...that's very strange.

Just double check that your settings are set to 'Memory Card' and not 'Data Connection'.

If it is then reattach your phone and on your computer go to 'My Computer' then 'Control Panel' then 'Performance and Maintainence' then 'System'. Now another little window will come up called 'System Properties'. Click on the little tab called 'Hardware' then click on 'Device Manager'. Now what you'll need to do is click on the 'Scan For Hardware Changes' button (sometimes it comes up as a symbol of a computer with a blue key across the screen). This will scan your computer for any new hardware and it should install itself now.

If that doesn't work try using 'New Hardware Wizard' to install your phone. To open the 'Add Hardware Wizard' click 'Start', click 'Control Panel', and then click 'Printers and Other Hardware'.

If neither of these work your phone should of came with a CD-Rom. Try loading that into your computer and see what happens, just follow the prompts.

It sounds like you're just having problems with your connection, not the phone itself. I get that all the time so have a bit of experience with it.

Let me know if this works and if you manage to get your music up and running on your phone. If not I may be able to come up with another alternative.

Sure I can help you some more! That's what I'm here for! :]

The possible reason your cell phone didn't come up when you plugged it into your computer was that you didn't change your default connection.
On your phone go to your menu, then to 'Settings', then 'Connection'. Now click on 'USB Settings' and change your 'Default Connection' to 'Memory Card'.

Ok, now when you plug it into your computer it should come up. It will more than likely install itself so just follow the prompts.

Dragging and dropping is basically the same thing as cutting and pasting. I'll go through the cutting and pasting method with you. Open the folder for your phone on your computer, and then open (in another window if you preffer) the folder where your songs are on your computer. Now select the songs on your computer that you want to copy onto your phone (use the 'Control' key to highlight more than one) and copy them by holding down 'Control' + 'C'. Now in the other window you have opened (the one for your phone) you need to paste the songs to here by holding down 'Control' + 'V'. All the songs you just highlighted should now be copying onto your phone.

Once it is complete you can disconnect your phone and go to 'Multimedia', then 'Sounds'. Go down to the bottom of the list and click on 'New Playlist'. From here you can choose which songs you want to have in your playlist.

Might be an idea to leave this page with my advice open while you are doing all this because it's a lot to remember!!

i have a moterola phone with a digital music player on it. i made a playlist that i would like to put on my phone, but i don't know how. i have the usb to connect the phone to the computer, but i don't know what to do now. does anyone know what to do to get the music on my phone?

I have the same phone by the sound of it!! They are a great little phone to use once you get the hang of it.

What you need to do is go to your menu -> settings -> connection -> USB Settings -> then change your 'default connection' to memory card. Connect your phone to your computer via the USB cable and use the simple drag and drop method to move your music to you phone. Once you've done that unattach your phone from your computer and go into the digital media player on your phone. From here you can sort your music by artist, genre, album etc. The easiest way to make a playlist is to do so by going to multimedia -> sounds -> new playlist (should be don the bottom of your songs). Now you can choose which songs to put into your playlist.

ok;like in July I think I had my period.Seewhat happened was I could barely pee it hurt soo bad for about two days. And i would think i had to pee but when i got 2 the b-room it hurt like hell and only a drop of pee came out.And then when I wiped there waas a little blood blood to the point that it was pinkish but almost redish.Did I have my period or not?

No, that doesn't sound like you've had your period at all. You didn't say whether you have had your period previously or whether you are still waiting for your first period. It sounds pretty serious and I'm not a doctor obviously, so I really reccommend that you go and see a doctor as soon as possible. You also didn't mention whether you have had any sexual contact before. If so there is always a possibility that you could have an STI. There are a lot of STI's that have burning sensations as an indicator of the infection such as Chlamydia and Gonorrhea.

I'm really sorry that I couldn't be more help on this. But I strongly suggest you visit a doctor asap just incase. It really doesn't sound like you've had your period.

ok so me and my ex have two classes together this year, and we sit by eachother in both of them. We are always flirt and joke around and then on friday he kiss me. Just out of the blue. Does that mean that he wants to get back together with me or what. Any help would be amazing.

I think he's not yet over you! You should talk to him, find out how he feels, talking always helps I find. Think about it...were you the one to break off from him? If so he obviously isn't yet over you. Or was he the one to break off from you? If so he regrets it. Usually it takes quite a while for people to get over past relationships and most will always have a soft spot for their ex (depending on how bitter the break up was!). That's because you did actually love him once!

My clothes have an empty smell to them. In fact, they don't smell like anything. Are there any detergents out there that give clothes that fresh smell to them? My mom has been using the Original All and things that get clothes clean, but nothing that makes them smell nice. Are there any brands that seem to qualify?

There are a ton you should find in your local supermarket depending on what you want your clothes to smell like (citrus, eucalypt, floral etc.). You just need to have a look around. It should say on the front of the packet. Another alternative is to spray your clothes with scented body spray either just after they have come out of the dryer or just as you are about to put them on. You can buy soooo many different kinds of body sprays in all different scents. Evoke has a nice range of musky night scents to summery citrus scents.

Tampons come in a number of sizes depending on your flow. You can get regular, maxi, mini etc. Usually on the heaviest days of your period you would wear regular to maxi and the last few days of your period when you have a lighter flow most girls opt for mini's. It is suggested that you use the lowest possible absorbancy tampon you can at certain stages in your period to reduce the risk of TTS. Ask your mom to help you out when buying them.

Talking always helps you, I find. It lets you know how he feels and you can get your message across to him. If you just wait for him to get over you it could get more complicated than what it already is. You just need to tell him really nicely that you aren't interested and just don't think you are the right girl for him. Make sure you still stay friends though because that's really important and he'll need support while he's getting over you. If you're too scared to talk to him upfront you could always give him a letter, send an email, or tell him over MSN. Don't make it short and sweet though; that might just sound rude to him. You need to really let him know how you feel. Although first of all I would suggest that you really try hard to work up the courage to talk to him in person. Other forms of communication would be an absolute last resort.

No, I don't think you'd need any type of paper work. Just your resume (CV) I'd say. And they should be able to see you are responsible from that.

You could let your friends and their parents know that you are looking for work as a babysitter and they can spread the word around for you. Another really good way to get noticed is putting an ad in your local paper. A lot of parents go first of all to the newspaper to look for a babysitter. And once you get a job then they will reccommend you to others. Even putting up a sign on a community noticeboard with your phone number at a local shopping centre would be good. Everyone will see that because everyone has to shop, right?!

i got a tampon in for the first time about an hour ago. it was ok at first and i didnt feel it, but now its beginning to hurt, mainly if im siting down, it burns. is this normal since its my first time using one? ive tried pushing it in/pulling it out a little to see if its not in properly, and that helps for a few seconds but then its just back to the burning. whats goin on?

This could possibly be for a number of reasons.

* Some people just can't wear tampons - it's too uncomfortable for them.

* You could have inserted it wrong - refer to the instructions in the box.

* You might not have pushed it in far enough - You have to insert it the full length of your finger.

* You might be too dry - Try putting a bit of lubricant or vasoline on the end of the tampon and insert it again. This will make it a bit more comfortable.

I'd say it'd probably be the last one because you say it's burning so you could just be dry.

My sister is 10 and she got her period this year. It depends on how fast you grow. Some shoot up and some may take a little longer, it's the same with our sexuality. Since she has matured so young I think it would be perfectly normal. Kids start exploring their bodies when they first reach, or before, puberty and that sounds like what's happened with your sister. So I don't think you have anything to worry about. Just let her be.

I'm 16/f and I've actually found the opposite, that most guys don't have their penis circumsised. Well, in Australia anyway! It doesn't affect anything at all, and personally, I like a guy who hasn't been circumsised! But different girls like differnt things, we are all different, so don't worry at all. The only thing I think it affects is condom usage. Some guys prefer to pull their foreskin back before putting one on. It's up to the guy.

I'm 16/f and I think that when a girl loves a guy it's for what's on the inside. A beautiful personality always gets me. We are all different so we are all going to have different answers. I think it's really shallow when girls say "Oh, I only like tanned surfy guys with blond hair". I think it doesn't matter what you are like on the outside and I'm sure a lot of girls would agree with me. You can't go past a great, fun, caring personality. Just be yourself.

I'm just the same as you, really short for my age and pretty thin. A girl won't not like you just coz you're short! It's what's on the inside that really counts! The special thing about you is that when a girl loves you she won't care what height you are or how thin you are, she'll love you for you and won't want to change a thing.

Well yeah, I guess every girl has a dream guy though. My boyfriend is my dream guy! haha, I wouldn't change him for the world. His personality is what gets me, like I said before. And he is skinny like you, but I love that about him. See, lots of girls love skinny guys!! And he's really tall and loves the fact that I'm really short. So I guess it just depends on the type of girl you are into and the type of guy she's into.

It depends on the type of girl. I personally don't like it when guys are so overly self confident, I think it makes a lot of us stand off a bit. But the shy guy is always appealing to a lot of girls. Just be yourself because if you put on an act a girl will like you not for who you really are but for what they see. Everyone is different and that's what makes us so special. The world would be a pretty boring place if we were all the same!

So I babysitted for the first time last week. This kids really quiet and all he does is want to play soccer. Well we got really bored after playing sports for a while. Now that I'm babysitting offically for him I dont know how to entertain him.

Does anyone have games to play that involves like running around/being active?

Depends on how old he is I suppose. You could do some simple cooking with him like pizza he can make himself and do his own toppings, melt some icecream and add stuff like crunchie pieces or m'n'm's then refreeze it, nachos, tacos, bake a cake. Then you could do craft stuff like painting/ fingerpainting, making cards for an upcoming birthday, making a scrapbook, or bring him a colouring book and crayons as a present. If he has a computer you could make slideshows, use paint, take photos and edit them and print them ect. Challenge him to a playstation game, watch movies, play board games, I agree with hide and seek too! Take him to the park, feed the ducks. There are so many things when you really think about it. Just depends what he's into!

Do you have to be a certain age to purchuse a vibrator im 14, and if so...where can i go to get one?

Not quite sure about the laws in the US but I'd say since your under the legal age limit you probably couldn't purchase one until you're 18. If possible you could get someone else to buy one for you. Otherwise there are lots of homemade vibrator ideas someone has already suggested before me. This might sound gross but using things such as a cell phone on vibrate mode, an electric toothbrush, vibrating pens or an anologue playstation contoller can be simple and you won't need to go and buy anything. Might be an idea to cover these with a condom first!
