good or bad :O
k so i know i dont have that good of self confidence.. does it atract girls or turn girls off if so tell me how i can change this please.. i have a problem with being happy with myself

honestly. Depends on how self confident you are. If you are more so on the "cocky" side that is a serious turn off. If you are on the other side then that is perfect!
Also it depends on the girl. If someone is attracted to you it really doesnt matter who you are. The most important virtue is to be honest to yourself and others. that is a very rare virtue and one that is greatly appreciated. Basically just be your sweet self! no worries

For me, personally, it is a major turn-off. I'm a pretty confident person, and I expect my future boyfriends and husband to be the same.

im a 13/f. girls like guys that are confident but not cocky. but most girls appreciate guys that are quiet and listin to them. i used to have problems with being confident too. the only way i bacame more confident was by becoming freinds with really good people who suppported me and allowed me to be myself.

In my experience the self confident guy is many times more successful when it comes to women. If you look at the shy guys that girls find so addorable, usually they are also very good looking. You will hardly ever see an ugly or even plain looking shy guy be popular with the girls. However, you will very often see self confident guys that arent lookers be fairly successful (sometimes really successful).
So, if you look really good, I wouldnt give it much thought. If you dont, the shy guy thing wont get you very far imo.
As for how to change... well thats not so easy. Start being more assertive, stick to your opinions and so on. At the beginning you could even treat it like acting. In the long run you have to come to terms with who you are. Being happy with yourself, or at least with aspects of your personality, is an important step in getting real self confidence.

I'm going to be honest here.
The shy-guy thing might be cute at first, but if you have so little confidence in yourself that you become dependent on her, that's not good for either of you. She will feel guilty if she tries to break up with you, and you do not want a girl to date you out of pity.
Everybody at your age has self-doubts. In fact, everybody at every age has self-doubts. You need to take a good look at yourself. Whatever you're doing that you don't like, CHANGE IT. You need to love yourself before anybody else can love you.

It depends on the type of girl. I personally don't like it when guys are so overly self confident, I think it makes a lot of us stand off a bit. But the shy guy is always appealing to a lot of girls. Just be yourself because if you put on an act a girl will like you not for who you really are but for what they see. Everyone is different and that's what makes us so special. The world would be a pretty boring place if we were all the same!
