I'm Christina, and I'm 27. I tend to be brutally honest when I give advice or an opinion. I don't tell people what they want to hear but rather what they need to hear. They don't always appreciate it at first, but I usually get a thank you in the end.

I have 15 tattoos, and 8 piercings. I'm married and just gave birth to a baby boy in May. I'm currently a SAHM so you can find me taking care of my son and binge-watching television while he naps.

Is there a general rule on how long the flu is going to last? I have been sick longer than it feels like I should be. :(

It honestly all depends on the person, and whether or not they take care of themselves. Everyone is going to get sick at some point, but the actions they take once their sick determine a lot.

I got a the beginning of a cold last Sunday and was able to beat it by Wednesday or Thursday. I took a lot of medicine, got a lot of rest, and tried to keep myself hydrated.

The flu usually lasts around a week at most, but if you feel yourself getting worse, and you're not cleared of it within a week, see a doctor because it's probably something worse.

Get some rest, take some medicine, and drink a lot of orange juice and you should be okay. But if you don't feel better within the next few days, go in for a check-up and see what's up.

Be yourself, and treat people the way you want to be treated, because as cliche as it sounds, karma is real and what goes around truly does come back around.

If you do that, and still find yourself having trouble, don't worry about it. Being in a relationship isn't everything, and those who cannot appreciate you don't deserve you when it all comes down to it.

So all summer long my moms been complaining about how I haven't gotten a job.

I'm getting really sick and tired of listening to her constantly complain and belittle me because she's jealous that I'm on summer vacation and get to stay home while she works.

Every summer she treats me like crap and it's pretty much like being grounded for 3 months and i'm tired of sitting around because she never lets me leave the house and listening to her scream and whine and complain about how I "never do anything" and she even told me earlier it pisses her off to see me not working when she is and that just seeing my face or hearing me talk makes her angry.

So I went to the Barnes and Noble Website and downloaded an Application and now i'm filling it out and I intend to send it to them and I think I have a better chance at getting the job then most people do since I have a pretty much perfect school record along with being a certified associate of Microsoft Office and the Adobe Suite (they ask on the resume if you know how to work with Microsoft Word).

My only worry is that I'm only 16 (minimum age) but in a month and 14 days i'm going to be 17. I'm very charismatic and I've been a counselor at a camp for the past few years during the summer so I know how to deal with people as well. I'm also a member of FBLA and have the Presidents Volunteer Award among other certificates and I've taken "Leadership Training".

I don't see how it could be a bad idea so I think I'm going to just go ahead and do it even though I haven't asked my mother. I mean she's the one who always complains about me sitting at home "doing nothing" and has told me on multiple occasions that I need to get a job.

I'm filling my resume out on the computer so everything will be neat and tidy but I want to know, should I should put all of my achievements down on an extra sheet of paper and attach it to my resume or would that be overkill?

If your mother wants you to get a job, and is always nagging at you to, you don't need her permission. You're doing what she wants. I would tell her after you've submitted the application, so maybe she'll be happy for once.

Honestly, put as much down about yourself as you can. List all of your achievements. Those are things that they like to see. The more active in the community, or at school that you are, the better. I'm sure you won't have a problem getting the job, and your being 16 shouldn't affect your chance.

I was wondering if it would be okay for me to leave my toy in my back-door (if you know what I mean) for a while, and if it would have any negative side effects. It is maybe an inch around at the very thickest part. I just like having it in. So how long is it okay to leave it in for, or does it really matter? Thanks for the help!

I would not suggest leaving a toy up your ass. Nothing about that is safe, and I'm pretty sure there are negative side effects. I don't know what they are, but Google does.

Okay so there is this real close friend of mine.We are classmates. And we had this sleepover, a couple of us, guys and girls. I just broke up two months back with my bf who cheated..so i am still getting over it...And my friend broke up a few days ago. We ended up chatting throughout the night, and i dont know what happened but we ended up kissing each other too..it was not our intention of doing ANYTHING like that. we pretty much have feelings for our ex's and not each other. i dont know why and how it happened.
we have promised not to tell this to anyone. and that this incident will stay a secret between the two of us forever. but i feel weird about it, i feel disgusted for doing such a stupid thing now. do you think things will change because of this? i am scared he would tell someone which i really dont want.HELP. how should i handle this?

You made it clear that you guys have feelings for your ex's and not each other. There's no reason for you to feel weird about this. You guys probably just connected from talking and got caught up in the moment. It's really not a big deal.

You made a promise to each other not to tell, so if he's a good friend, he'll hold up his half of the deal. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want anyone to find out either considering he wants to try and get his girlfriend back.

It more than likely won't change anything. You guys will continue to be friends. No big deal.

heyy I'm 15 years old I'm in love with someone I know him since we were children I love him so much but I don't know if he does the same. sometimes he shows me that he really likes me and sometimes not , I really want to know his feeling toward me . His attitude shows that he likes me but sometimes he didn't show me that . A need something to do it to know his real feeling toward me but I don't want to ruin our friendship I need a solution quickly.

The only way to truly find out if he feels the same way is to ask him. It might catch him off guard, it might become awkward, but the best thing to include before you ask the question is that you want an honest answer and that it won't hurt your friendship.

As long as you are honest with him, he should be honest with you. Remember that if he doesn't feel the same way that it's not the end of the world. You're 15 years old and there are a lot of other guys out there.

If your relationship is truly built on trust, there is no need to question what is going on between your boyfriend and your best friend.

The fact that you're scared something may be going on means that you really don't trust him as much as you think you do.

If it truly bothers you that they are close friends, you need to talk to both of them separately.

Sit him down and really try your hardest to convey the message so that he will understand you. Tell him that you're happy he has made a new friend, but that their relationship worries you. You feel like he is more into her than he is you, and that it hurts your feelings. Let him know everything you are feeling.

Sit her down and tell her that you don't appreciate that she flirts with your boyfriend. It's fine to be friendly, but you are supposed to be best friends, and that she should know not to overstep that boundary. You are fine with the fact that they are friends, but that's as far as it should go because he is YOUR boyfriend.

If you sit down with both of them, and the behavior between them continues after you've talked and let them know how you feel, I will say it's safe to assume that they don't care much about your feelings and that you should re-evaluate your relationships with both of them.

Stop hooking up with him.

He is not going to break up with his girlfriend. He may tell you things are not going well between them, but he doesn't have any intention on breaking up with her. If he didn't want to be with her anymore, he would have broken up with her by now. The fact that he hasn't speaks volumes.

He only sees you as someone to use. When his girlfriend isn't around, he uses you to hook up with to satisfy his sexual desires. He doesn't care about you. He has no intention of getting together with you, and he will only ever see you as someone to cheat on his girlfriend with.

Here's what I'm going to say as advice: Stop. Stop hooking up with him, and stop talking to him. Stop being the other girl. Take a look at yourself and the person you are becoming and ask yourself if this is who you want to be. Are you comfortable being the other girl? Do you like knowing that he doesn't care about you?

Not only that, but put yourself in his girlfriend's shoes. If you were in her position, how would you feel? If your boyfriend cheated on you with someone else, what would you do? I know you're overcome by lust when you hook up with him, but I'm sure that if you had a boyfriend you wouldn't want him to do this to you.

I HATE my job so much! It's not the people or anything I just hate the fact that I'm not free to do what I want and I have to do what they tell me to. I'm 15 and my parents want me to work I've talked to them and they said I better not quit what can I do? I hate it so much that it makes my stomach hurt and I sometimes even cry when I go on break and stuff. I worked last summer and made it through the season but I dont want to do another season!

You are 15 years old, and it sounds like you're also a spoiled brat.

You expect for people to just hand you money so you can go out and purchase whatever you want, but you don't want to earn it. I hate to break it to you, but welcome to the real world.

The money your parents used to hand you is hard earned. Simply giving it to you would make you unappreciative of where it comes from and how hard it is to actually get it.

Working lets you understand the value of money, and it gives you insight to how hard it is. Your parents don't get this money handed to them. They EARN it.

Boohoohoo. You have to work! OH NO! However will you survive? My suggestion to you right now is that you suck it up. You'll be working for another 50-55 years, so you should probably get used to it. Nobody is going to hand you anything. If you want it, you need to work for it.

I'm going to tell you two things.

1. If you aren't ready to take your relationship to that level, you don't have to. Don't ever let anyone pressure you into doing something you don't feel comfortable doing. You clearly don't want to let him do that to you, so you're not ready, and you need to tell him NO.

2. Any guy that says he'll break up with you just because you won't let him get far with you sexually is a dickhead and was never really invested in the relationship. The only thing he cares about is sex and your feelings do not matter. A guy that truly loves you will respect your decision no matter what it is. Your boyfriend does not care about you and he is using you.

Dump him. And always remember those two things.

I was browsing my boyfriend of 7 months' Facebook, and discovered that he is still friends with girls on Facebook who he has dated (not been in a relationship with) Is this right? I don't have anyone I've ever been remotely involved with on Facebook anymore, but before I speak to him about it, I just wanted some opinions/thoughts on the matter. BTW, I'm not angry and don't intend to approach him with anger, just curiousity.

Well everyone thinks that my 7th grade science teacher is Lesbian she talks like a man and dresses like one and her fb pages looks like it. Sheee even looks like it. Also she isn't in a relationship and she likes rock music and electric guitars and well guy stuff. Plus me and my friend just got on her profile and looked at her pictures and she looked well lesbo. So I was just wondering do u think she is? how else can u tell...?...it feels akward being around her.

Why does it really matter if she's a lesbian? It wouldn't make her any different from you. She just has a different gender preference.

To be quite honest, it's really none of your business. Leave her alone, stop going on her Facebook, and stop worrying about what the fuck she's doing (or who she's doing for that matter) and grow up. How she dresses, what music she listens to, or how she talks is none of your business. Your teacher's personal life is none of your business, and you should not be poking & prodding around with something that has nothing to do with you.

She is there to teach you Science. She isn't there for anything else. Mind your business and keep it moving because I'm sure if someone did this to you and you found out, it would hurt your feelings.

Oh, and even if she is a lesbian, there's no reason for it be awkward around her. Just because she might be gay doesn't mean she has a crush on every girl she sees, and it certainly doesn't mean that she's interested in children. Grow up.

I'm a thirteen year old girl, who needs ideas of what to eat for breakfast. I don't usually have breakfast (i know its bad) cause I get sooo sick of just eating boring cereal.

What are some healthy recipes I can make in around 5 minutes. 10 mins would be the maximum time it could take to make.

These aren't necessarily things you have to prepare, but they are good alternatives to cereal and they're quick. You grab, and go.

Eat a piece of fruit. Whether it's a banana, or an apple, both are a good alternative to cereal. You could also try a granola bar or a cup of yogurt. Having a simple glass of orange juice and a piece of toast works as well. Have a bagel with cream cheese.

Any of these work, and they're all fairly healthy if you eat them in moderation and in good portions. They don't really require any cooking (you'll need your toaster, at the most, really) and they're simple. Plus you can eat them on the go which means you can probably get a few more minutes of sleep in the morning. :)
