15/f. ok, so there's this guy who's a senior and lives about 45 min away from me, but he's kinda scared to drive on highways and so doesn't really visit me. we're really close friends and we hooked up on saturday. problem? he and my sister hate each other and my friends don't really like him either. i know my friends wouldn't care if i hooked up with him again or did anything else, but my sister would. she hates him. she started the fight that got them to hate each other in the first place and it's just so ridiculous. after he and i hooked up, she asked me about it and she knew i was lying, so she eventually got the truth out of me: we did. she told my mom and we didn't speak for a full day, the longest we've ever been mad at each other. she really hates him. so what should i do? should i just completely defy her and be "friends with benefits" with him? or should i not let the relationship continue?

Normally friends with benefits don't work out. Because atleast one of the people is going to develop feelings for the other. Your sister is probably concerned about you dating somebody that could turn out to be a jerk. If I were you, I would consider your sister's opinion but at the end of the day your the one that has to make the decision. Life is all about taking chances. Getting into a relationship with him could either be good or bad. But the only way to truely find out is to try it and see it.

i am looking into buying some perfume. but it cant be too strong, i dont want people to smell it miles away, but if i hug someone than i want them to smell it. what is some nice smelling perfume that is not too strong?

My best friend wheres Britney Spear's Curious perfume. And I love the way it smells on her. So I definitely recommend it.

What can my friends and I do for fun on weekends?
Movies and bowling get boring. What is there to do (for girls AND guys) if just a handful of us are hanging out at my house? We all get along and have a good time, but I just wanna make sure nobody gets bored....i know we could rent movies & do board games, but anything else?

Let her know that if she flirts with to many guys around the same time period, people start to talk. And she might start to get a bad reputation. Let her know that you don't want people to think of her as something she's not, so maybe she should try to tone the flirting down.

Okay Im not bragging when I say this but a year ago when I was still in high school I won "Most popular guy" for the yearbook. So I can honestly tell you that I didnt spend a lot of time on the way I looked. It was just that a made scenes almost where ever I went. If there was a dance, the center of the dance floor was my permanent spot. If there was a party, I always got the most drunk. If there was a basketball game or something, I would be the loudest in the crowd. But now I can honestly tell you that NONE of that is ever going to matter. Coming to college has really helped me to realize that. So always be yourself no matter what.

Okay I know I'm being totally old school here but why doesn't my bf open the doors for me and whatnot?

I know I know totally weird for asking that but my mom, aunt, uncle, etc, will get on to me about that if she sees how he kinda let the door shut on me.

Most of us have our own ways of doing things. And It seems like your bf doesn't realize that you want him to atleast open the door for you. The only way he is going to know this, is if you tell him. You don't have to worry about being rude because as long as you don't demand him to do it, then things should be fine. You can just say something like "[your bf's name] you know it would be kinda of nice if you opened the door for me every once in a while"

i'd like people's opinions- do you believe that it's possible for two teenagers to fall in love? i'm 16/f and he's 17/m. this is our relationship in (very small) nutshell:

we talk about everything. we care about each other to the deepest, most loving extent possible. i don't see other guys [friends, random guys] in the same way i used to. neither of us would ever do anything to hurt the other [emotionally & physically, for that matter.] and anytime either of us even suspects something is wrong [which has only happened twice], we bring it up and talk through it. he makes me genuinely happy- the happiest i've ever been in my life. i'm constantly in a state of bliss when i'm with him, no matter what we're doing or what's going on. we've been dating a year and almost seven months. i can honestly see marrying him and spending the rest of my life with him. no words can describe how much i love him.

I think its definitely a posibility that you guys are in love. But you two are the only ones that can know for sure. And I 100% believe that teen love can be accomplished. I was in love before (and I am a teen). We were together for quite a long time and we had the type of love that it seems like you're describing.

I am a male myself; and I am telling you that if he did it once, chances are he will do it AGAIN. I know that it is hard to think that your boyfriend that you have been with for quite some time now, would do anything to hurt you,but you MUST accept the fact. So please get out of the relationship before it gets dangerous.
I had a friend that was in a abusive relationship but she never told anybody (including me). But all of the signs were there. She would complain about aches and pains out of no where and how her relaionship was getting a little rocky, etc. I never took the time to realize what was going on until it was to late. One day when they were supposed to be going on a date he shot her 18 times. This isnt a made up story or imagination, this is real life. Shes paralized now but its truely a miracle that she lived. And there isnt a day that goes by that I dont blame myself for what happened to her. I could have told her what Im telling you; and that is, to GET OUT OF THE RELATIONSHIP.

Okay, my boyfriend and I have been going out since October, and have spent the whole summer of 2006 with this little crush on each other thing. He's liked me for a whole year before that summer, too. Basically, after he asked me out we've spent so much time together. I can't imagine not being with him, and neither can my friends. Everyone expects us to be the couple that will never break up, high school sweethearts, etc.

Lately, though, I've been getting bored from being in a relationship so long. I've started noticing all the little things he does that bugs me, and it really irritates me how he gets upset when I hang out with or talk about another guy.

I don't know. I feel like I want to take a break or dump him or something but I don't know what to do or how to do it, and I'm afraid that in the end I'll regret everything.

If we always thought about whether we would regret the decisions we made, before we made them. We would accomplish nothing in life. Sometimes we just have to the things we think we should, without worrying about it. Take a chance and see what happens. You may like the end results, but if you don't; just look at it as a learning lesson.

I'm really bored.I like to try new things and start fun projects like combining archietecture,photoghraphy and sculpture into a single art work.I just want to have fun.Please could you think of something fun for me to do.Any suggestions are appreciated.

*Make a collage.-U can cut out clippings in magazines or photos of you and put them together through a collage.

*Make a scrap book- Get creative. Make sure you capture memories of the times you really had a lot of fun. Like napkins, food menus, etc. from your favorite restaurants.

*Monopoly- Invite over some friends. Monopoly takes sooo long to finish. But the entire game is fun.

*Twister- Have fun with some friends. Or you can even invite over the guy you like. (because twister can require some physical contact)lol.

Lets say you post questions on this site and you get the answers you love, however, a family member reads the advice and disagrees with what was written but you love the advice would you just ignore your family member and go by the answers you received on this site. Thanks.

I would listen to the advice on advicenators.com & the family member and decide what I think I should do from analyizing both point of views. Sometimes the advice you want to hear, isnt always the advice you should/need to hear. So I say do what you think is best.
