It all depends on the relationship, so it's completely up to you. I personally think the girl should get a gift for her guy, if he's buying her something aswell. It's fair.

If he's buying you something, and he's your boyfriend, than I would. It doesn't have to be expencive, but it should be thoughtful. I feel bad for the guys that don't get anything, but are expected to give, you know?
