Okay Im not bragging when I say this but a year ago when I was still in high school I won "Most popular guy" for the yearbook. So I can honestly tell you that I didnt spend a lot of time on the way I looked. It was just that a made scenes almost where ever I went. If there was a dance, the center of the dance floor was my permanent spot. If there was a party, I always got the most drunk. If there was a basketball game or something, I would be the loudest in the crowd. But now I can honestly tell you that NONE of that is ever going to matter. Coming to college has really helped me to realize that. So always be yourself no matter what.

I don't think that popular people look things up on how to be popular or how to act. Some people are just popular because of their personalities and they might not really care about how they look. Others might spend a lot of time getting ready and caring about their apperance. It's just about confidence.

Personally, I don't think they look up how to stay popular-I think it's just one of those things that happen as you grow up. They start trends (they could get these from magazines,friends in other schools, etc.) Yes, they do spend A LOT of time on the way they look [for the most part]- which could explain why they're so well-liked.
