It's a gReat staRt foR a beginneR who is just getting used to it. If you mess up, pencil is A WHOLE LOT easieR to clean up and Re-do than liquid would be. And if you plan on caRRying it aRound in a puRse oR pocket.. you also face a chance that the liquid may Ruin [though I don't suggest caRRying eyelineR in youR pocket]. And if you do mess it up, just take a tissue and slowly Run it along the Rim of youR eyelid.. it'll come Right up. Now, the desiRed effect of eyelineR is to cReate the illusion of daRkness just above the lashline to enhance the look of the lashes. To apply it, gently hold youR eyelid down, and staRt at the inneR paRt of the lid [closest to youR nose]. Then just simply dRaw a thin line smoothly and evenly along the uppeR lid, getting as close to the lashes as possible. Also, make shoRe you dRaw the line all the way to the outside coRneR. It will pRobably take some pRactice -- it took me a while at fiRst too... now I have it down incRedibly well.
