Boy TroublE?

Question Posted Wednesday May 25 2005, 10:25 pm

Okay - so there's this kid I like right? let's call him 'X' kay? He's in my Drama and Science class - and my P.E. I really think I like him - like a lot. We've gotten really close over the school year and I just don't want to leave him for the summer. I really really like him. And I have no idea if he likes me back or not. He recently broke up with one of my best friends let's call her Casey. Well they broke up like a month or so ago and I don't know if she's fully over him or not. I'm gonna tell her, it's just I'm scared that she'll get mad at me. But I gotta be totally honest with her, I'm always 100% honest with her. He always flirts with me and sits on me if i don't move and he always pulls me on him whenever im standing up infront of him. Today in one of my classes I was in his seat and he sat on me then told me to move so when I did, he sat down and I was about to walk back to my seat but he pulled me on him and pretended to kiss me but then all he did was lean in smiled then pull his head back up. Yeah, it was cute - but I just don't know if he likes me or not you know? Well I just I'm so confused about X and I don't know what to do. So I just thought I'd ask for some good advice and you're really nice so I thought I'd ask you! Thanks for reading this!

You can't let otheR people Run youR life. And NO ONE has the Right to tell you who you can and can not be close to, so if you like this guy, I don't see ANY Reason why you should feel bad about getting togetheR with him. ALTHOUGH.. theRe *IS* a saying out theRe: "SisteRs befoRe MisteRs", so I *DEFINITELY* think you ought to talk to youR fRiend about this fiRst with hopes of heR appRoval. Although heR appRoval would be nice, it is CERTAINLY NOT NEEDED!! PeRsonally, this EXACT SAME thing happened to me. My fRiend bRoke up with heR ex... and then I got with him. She was PISSED at fiRst, but afteR a six days oR so she cooled off. I just made shoRe to give heR plenty of space to simmeR down befoRe appRoaching heR again, but a few days lateR she had totally accepted the fact that he and I weRe togetheR and that we weRe both TRULY HAPPIE!! AfteRall, fRiends *DO* always want the best foR each otheR, don't they!? Just talk openly and honestly to "Casey" about this; I'm shoRe she'll undeRstand. Goodluck to you!! I wish you the best!! Know that you can *always come to me if you eveR need a second opinion -- I'd be MORE than happie to do what I can to help.
