alright. my 16th birthday is in three weeks, the week before school starts. last year i had a quincenera(kinda like a sweet sixteens but for mexicans or hispanics) my parents spent alot of money on it and it was beautiful and all so originally i knew i wouldnt have a big sweet sixteen or anything. the other week my parents also bought me an expensive gift and i told them that could be my birthday present. okay problem is i still wanna do something(at least small) with about 10-15 of my friends for my birthday! but i dont want to ask my parents for money or anything very big. got any ideas? If you dont want to spend too much money, you can have a small party. You had a huge party when you turned 15 and I know what a quincenera was and I hope you had a great time! Invite your closest friends to your party and have a party at your house. Your parents won't have to spend much money but for food and drinks for the guests. It always depends what you want to do. A movie party is always fun and cheap. You can go to the movies with friends then have a sleepover. Those things are simple but fun and cheap!

You seem like you have everything! Also, your only charging 4 dollars? To tell you the truth, normal babysitters charge roughly $6.00/hour minimum. It depends how many children there are. When saving money, it's a personal question, not a world wide question. It depends what you want. If you have nothing you want, save it. The money will help you in the future! Maybe there is a concert coming up and you really want to go or when you go to the movies or even shopping. You have to have money!

ok, well obviousely america aint going to sell quality merchandise with our flag on, just like no shop will sell anything with the "stars and stripes" on it over here (britain) i say you check on british websites....obviousely. also, screw a union jack messenger bag, get a plain one, and iron and sew on union jack patches etc. most ben sherman merch' has the union jack on it, but they only do mens clothes.... so yeah check on british websites....

Ok well this isn't about me it's my sister and she's 11. But she couldn't join cause she was under 13 so she asked me if I could ask for her so I am.
Well she thinks she's underweight! She's 11 and she is about 4'11"- 5' ,but she is about 84 pounds and she thinks that she doesn't eat enough. (she's telling me well I'm writing) She doesn't want to be anerxic ,but she doesn't want to be fat. She doesn't look anerxic she's just skinny.
But she wants to know if she's underweight? And if so by how many pounds?

She is underweight... she should be atleast 92 pounds minimum to be considered normal weight. Tell her to eat how she wants but just exercise if she doesn't want to be fat.

then shave using shaving cream, for sensitive skin
then put lotion again immediately on after words, and about 1-2 hours later again
if putting on the body lotion stings, just think itll prevent the bumps

Try giving them tuna they like that a lot that is how i got my cat adjusted. They will slowly look to you as there mother when you are the person to give them food. When they are comfortable with you they will let you pet them and at that point just show them a lot of affection.

I have bad dandruff. i have even tried professional anti-dandruff shampoo. (Matrix Actrol) and it works...but i have to sue it every day and if i do that it dries myhair out. what can i use or do to prevent the dandruff while keeping my hair from drying out? (link)

Try using any kind of moisturizing Shampoo or even baby shampoo just make sure that you rinse good. Try rinsing with cold water it tends to get soap out better.

Well, I transferred to a new school at the beginning of eighth grade, and I can't believe how fast time flew, because now I'm going into ninth grade. I wear cute clothes, I always get compliments on them from my friends and stuff. Recently I went shopping and got really cute jean bermudas from Hollister, and 2 new polos from Aeropostale, a new hoodie and khaki shorts from Aero as well. I had some mild acne, but now it's calming down since I don't pick at them anymore. (lol). I've been told that I'm pretty (by friends), and cute (by like two guys), but that's about it. I'm pretty tall 5'8" and I have a nice figure (flat stomach, nice shoulders, long legs, nice butt), and I've seen a few guys look at me at school, but not as much as they could if thats the way to put it? I recently got side bangs and when I straightened my hair, they looked absolutely adorable. I also want to gain some confidence, because me and my mom were talking about guys and she's like 'Well, I know that I've been keeping you back from dating and going out and stuff, but don't be afraid to look around and notice guys. I notice that you walk fast when I drop you off at school and don't like look around you.' I also had a bad nail biting problem, but I'm happy to say that I've quit! :]

ok theres this guy austin whos a total player and never stays with a girl more than a few weeks. once he even told my bf to break up with me and find some "fresh meat" (grrrrr!). so it was really surprising when austin stayed with this girl ashley for 6 months. but anyway, he just broke up with her. he told my bf that the reason he broke up is cuz he just doesnt want a gf and wants to concentrate on sports, and how hard it was to break up with her. well that was 2 days ago, and he's already telling this new girl that she's hot and asking her to hang out. obviously the real reason he dumped ashley is for this new girl. so im just wondering, why he would tell my bf that? i mean, i can see him saying that to ashleys friends, so ashley wouldnt feel bad, but why would he lie to his one of his buddies about it? im just curious cuz it doesnt make sense, especailly with this guy.

Maybe he really felt that way until he met this new girl. He may have really had his heart set on not being with any girls and focusing on sports. He may have also thought your boyfriend would go and tell Ashley. It could be a variety of thing you never know.

I have a stepdad, him and my mom have known each other for about 5 years, and they married each other in October 2004. Don't get me wrong, I like him. Except for the fact that he's super stubborn and always complains about everything. He pays no attention to my dog Daisy, and always goes 'DAISY GET OUT OF HERE' when there's food around because like all dogs, she'll hang around and wait for food to fall on the floor. And she immediately runs to her cage, almost like she's scared of him. Even his friends wives have told my mom about how he treats her like sh*t and doesn't seem to care. He works hard to provide for our family, he works from 9 in the morning to 10/11 at night. I am grateful for how much he does for our family, but now my question reflects on the relationship I have with him.
For some reason, he never seems to 'believe me'. A few months back, I accidentally pushed my foot against my headboard when I was lying down on my stomach on my bed watching TV, and my headboard snapped and fell behind my bed. Even I was surprised, because there are like 12 nails lying there, and I didn't even push that hard! I'm guessing that it's just cheap wood.
Well, today's Saturday, and my mom works on Saturday mornings and he's home on Saturdays. He just went to buy nails because my headboard is /yet/ to be fixed after I've asked him for about 5 months. And it's always like when we ask him to do something, he starts complaining about it. Even the simplest thing like changing my half brother's diaper (I consider him my full brother since I love him dearly), and my stepdad's like 'no, I'm tired.. blah blah blah' and my mom ends up doing it, even after she comes back from her job (she's a waitress, and she's on her feet constantly), or I end up doing it.
Sorry for the long question, but here is my final question. I know that he is stressed out, but why does he take it out on me? Like I said, before he went to buy nails, he goes "I went to look at your bed and I understand if there was like 5 nails, but there are 12 nails there. How hard did you push it?" and he sounded mad.. and I go "Well, not that hard, I already told you, I don't know why it snapped like that. I promise I didn't push that hard." and he goes "Yeah, whatever." and walks away.
Why is he so rude? What did I do? Accidents happen. It's not like I did it on purpose! When he doesn't believe me for stupid things, I almost feel like crying because I feel like I did something wrong. I mean, we're still close and we talk, but sometimes it feels like we're strangers to each other whenever my mom isn't around. My mom also got this Honor Roll student bumper sticker from my enrollment thing at school a few days ago and put it on the part of the car where the paint is, and my stepdad like blew up. It was weird.. In my head I was thinking "It's not like she knew.. you don't have to bitch about it." He makes a big deal out of the silliest things!
I try to do everything to make him proud of me. I watch my brother constantly, I help out around the house, I try to get awesome grades to impress him. I get a pat on the back and my mom is like standing there all like "My daughter is so smart! I'm so proud of you!" (lol). That's another instance in which I like my mom better than him. She gives me sympathy when I need it and encourages me, but I've never seen any sympathy from him or like any emotion.

Personally I would sit down with your mom and explain to her how you feel like he is treating you like crap. Tell her everything you just said maybe she will understand a little bit more and talk to him so that he will be nicer. If that doesn't work try to talk to him. Tell him that you don't appreciated him being rude to you and ask him if he could please act nicer toward you. There isn't really a look to have...It all depends on the person and what they want. The main idea is shaving so that when you wear a bikini or something like that you see no pubic hair because that is kind of gross lol. Just remember to use a sharp razor and use lotion afterward to help with razor burn

in addition to my answer, it is likely, but depends on the types of activities you carry out. like if you're in a vigorous sport, have used tampons before, etc. you can tell if you feel lots of pain or if you bleed. it doesn't ALWAYS hurt. some girls may feel it happen, some girls may not. but, for me, it hurt. & uh i'm a virgin just to clear that up.
