Ok, well lately, many of my friends have been smoking weed. I tell them that it's stupid and that it can harm your health, and stuff such as that, but they keep telling me that weed doesn't harm your body in any way what-so-ever. If anyone knows, can you please tell me what side-effects you may get from smoking weed? (I'm a 14/f, if that's important, which I don't think it is.) (link)

Have you visited both campuses? Talked to any teachers? Found out what scholarships or grants are offered at each school? Take the time to do these things if you want to pick the school that's right for you.

Okay well I used to have this really good friend, and he was really nice to me until one day I decided to call him and this is what I said,

him:nothing really you?

him:okay..
Me:So are you still going out with lauren or whatever her name is?
Him:yea
Me:cool...
him:Why r you acting like such a bitch?

Then after that day he totally ignored me! He doesn't really go to school cuz he's home schooled so I never see him, but we used to be bestfriends...well to me he was. I was able tell him anything, and now he's being so rude to me. Oh, that's not all that happened. About 2 weeks ago I finally IMed him and was like..
Me:why do u hate me so much?
Him:cause...i do
Me:um ok? well, I didn't do anything to you.
Him:okay...
Then after he ignored me again!
I finally IMed one of my friends and told her wut was going on, and she IMed him and asked him why hes ignoreing me and all that stuff, and after he apologized. Now he's being mean to me again! Just now I IMed him and said hey! And he's like why are you talking to me? and i'm like why not? and he never responded. What the hell's going on, why does he hate me? I did nothing to him so what's he getting all mad about!?! Help I rate high.

Anyway, there's no way for us to tell what went wrong with you're friendship. All I can say is that this guy is an idiot. He doesn't tell you what's bothering him, so he's never going to know whether or not his anger is justified.
My advice is to just stay away from him and don't try to talk to him. I know he was your best friend, but, contrary to popular belief, friendship doesn't always last forever. Besides, why would you want to carry on a friendship with someone so rude and unforgiving?

I am at the end of my rope, I have been married almost two yrs to my High school sweetheart.(after a 18 yr seperation since high school)She has two kids age 13 and 10. I have two boys age 12 and 9. My problem is this, Her children disrespect me and lie to me and get away with murder, while I make my kids respect her and do what they are told. Her son 10, has A.d.d and cried to his dad so much, that he was taken off the prescribed medicine. His father was too proud to accept the fact that the boy needs the meds to concentrate. He repeatedly says this to his son until he is unbearable. He cried and cried to get his mom to stop the medicine, Because he didnt need it. He was an A student until a month or so ago, when his dad decided that he didnt need it. Since then the child is unruly .whiny, moody, throws temper tantrums, and lastly his grades have already dropped. Yesterday i checked the kids grades on the Internet, and he wnet from all A's to a D+, C, and a couple B's. He threw a temper tantrum, when told he was now grounded, and then blamed the teacher for his grades. He looked his mother in the face and screamed at her" you made me take medicine that I dont need. All while crying and throwing a fit. I said to my wife, if that isnt his dad talking i will kiss your a$$. I was the one reprimanded by her for saying that to her, not her sons bad grades. She then coddled him the remainder of the night. Herelies the problem, He calls the other kids names, he tattles, he Lies to my face, and He comes out smelling like a rose. He was grounded from his game boy, his brother asked to play one of his games, he said no, until i stepped in. The previous day he was allowed to play my other sons game boy because he was grounded from it for a bad grade. His mother made my son give him the gameboy because he forgot his at his dads house, yet said nothing when he wouldnt let the youngest use his. A little later the yougest son(of mine) said your being a jerk, and was immediately told to go to bed. Unlike her children, My son immediately complied and went to bed in tears. I am at the end, i just cant deal with this crap no more. I grew up with a step mother who acted the same way and it makes me sick to see my kids treated that way. My wife refuses to see this and it is ruining my marriage. Please Help. The question is How do I make my wife see this is going on, and stop it before its too late. (link)

So, she excuses him for terrible grades and lets him get away with anything, yet can't see how terrible this is? You've already tried to talk to her a number of times, I imagine.
I think you should just see a marriage councelor or someone of that affect. She may need some more outside perspectives, and people like that are good examples.
If she's still oblivious to the disservice she's doing to you, your kids, and her own, then you might want to consider separation. That might be best for your own children and may also help her see what she's doing.

If he told you he likes someone else it's either a pathetic attempt at making you jealous or he really does like someone else. If you're unsure of your feelings, I would probably figure that out first before you decide whether or not to discuss it with him. And chances are if a guy flirts with you then he likes you.

I've been working on my resume, but there is not a whole lot to it. I've basically had two jobs, and have volunteered at three different occasions. I want to find something in the animal care/veterinary field. But I'm still going to school full time, and am only finished with one semester of a Veterinary Technology major.
If I apply to every Vet clinic in the area, should I make a cover letter for each place? I'm most familiar with one certain clinic, because I've been the janitor there for a while, so I had no problem making a cover letter for them. But I don't really know what to say about all of the other clinics.
Should I just hand a resume in to each place, and hope for the best? Or should I make an individual cover letter for each clinic?
Is there anything else that I could do to spice up my resume? (link)

I advise you send a copy to MFS. I can't think of anything that could go on a resume. Call and see if you can schedule anything, or see if there are any possitions available. I'm sure you were already going to do that, but make sure you talk to the right people. I'm so sick of my friends complaining that they can't get a job when all they do is make one phone call and fill out an application. Some don't even bother with the phone call. In art, I'm going to make sure all the teachers that has anything to do with whatever I'm going into write a letter of recommendation. Is there anything you could do along those lines? I'm sure one wouldn't hurt. As for the resume itself, I'm not sure what else you could put on if you don't know. Maybe flowers on the side? I don't know, it's late and I'm talking out of my ass. ok well im a little overweight and when i wear tight shirts you can see my stomach ... so my question is, is there ANYTHING i can do to temporaraly make your stomach flatter. i thought of duck tape but that would hurt like a mother but i want to wear a cute outfit tomorrow but it is pretty tight on me. but i am going to work out every day after school and tonight so PLEASEEE answer ASAP!!!! thank you in advance and i will rate 5s to almost anyone :) but i need your help cause even my mom calls me fat

Someone's asking me for advice!! I can't remember the last time that has happened! I'm not sure, I've yet to make a resume. The only thing an art major has to worry about is a portfolio and some letters of recommendation. I'd make a cover letter for each. Even though I'm not even sure what all a cover letter involves. So my cousin had me meet this guy via phone and we hit it off really well. He's funny and easy to talk to. I started to like him and Im pretty sure it was mutual. We planned to meet up and I was really excited until I learned a little more about him. He's a metal head. lol He's got the long hair and listens to that kind of crazy music. We dont have a lot in common and definately not the same type of friends. He's my complete opposite. So the question.. Which would be worse > To date him and be labeled as "desperate" because he's not exactly my type.. Or not date him and be called shallow because he looks different than what I normally go for? You your serious about asking him in person, don't wait for the opportunity, make the opportunity. While he's with friends, ask him if you can talk to him alone for a minute.

This is indeed the most overrated question ever asked by adolecents (I think...). To keep it short and simple; I'm love this boy but I cannot summon the courage to tell him. Now to extend the situation; This boy, is actually a friend of mine. He's intelligent, has a pinch of humor, and is cute - not that the last two adjectives play a part in this. Anyways, I have him in a class of mine this year and our friendship developed tremendously as I got to know him and before you know it, I realized I loved him sincerely. I really wish to tell him, but I'm worried about a few factors. 1. You guessed it, fear of rejection. 2. As I stated earlier, he's intelligent and may not care for the "love" thing that most teenagers are into. And another thing, I can be seen as somewhat intelligent and it would be odd for me to want a boyfriend. 3. His parents may not think I'm worthy of their precious son. 1. The constant unknowing lasts far longer than the pain of rejection. Telling him as soon as possible will save you some pain and awkward feelings.
2. I'm not sure what intelligence has to do with feelings of love. No one on this earth is above feelings of love. It's true that love makes fools of us all, but that's not to say only the foolish can think of love.
3. His parents aren't an issue right now. Cross that bridge when you get to it.
My advice? Just tell him you have feelings for him. If he feels the same way, great. If he doesn't, you can talk it through. If you're both as smart as you say, it won't be as scary or awkward as you think. If your friendship is as good as it seems, it won't be affected very much.

okay... well me and a few of my friends are starting a band, and allison wants to play guitar but she has no friggin clue what shes doing!(iv'e been playing guitar for a few years and she just started like last week) and she was going to be a singer in the first place, but i have no clue how to tell her that she doesn't know how to play guitar, and NO i can't just go up to her and say "you can't play guitar" or "you suck" because i'm not the kind of person that can do something like that. help please! This problem will solve itself. If she can't play, she can't write riffs. Even if she could, she wouldn't have the talent to play them. And if she did, there wouldn't be a problem.
