can someone give me a summary on what that current tea party business is about?

In theory it's about having less government, free enterprise, deficit reduction, no regulation, and other conservative ideals.


In reality, however, it's more of a gathering place for Obama haters, regardless of their understanding of policy. It's gone from a legitimate group trumpeting real ideals to just a mass of easily riled up simpletons that take the word of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck as law. They've been trained and manipulated to reject anything related to Obama, no matter what. Herd mentality at its finest, although that's not to say there are not free thinkers involved in the movement... it's just that they're drowned out by the sheep.

My ex broke up with me 3 months ago...pretty long story, basically he broke up with me as he had a feeling I was gonna break up with him (true to some extent, I was crazily stressed with work & didn't think it was fair for him to deal with me like that) OK so I realize that was a mistake. any way he's tried staying friends with me but I have refused...all or nothing. I told him I want to get back together but he said he's not sure what to do. he's been saying this for 3 months now!

when we first broke up he didn't do much, but ever since I told him I went to clubs a lot, I've met new guys, he turned crazy and he's honestly out every night! more to the point, after I told him id gone a date with a guy, he started seeing this girl, took her on a date and stuff. thing is he doesn't know I know this (im friends with his friends) I know they text and stuff and it does really hurt because I'm only going on dates, not seeing anyone. any way a week ago he text me saying he loved me still, missed me, can't get over me, but he's still unsure what to do with us. at first I thought maybe he's doing this cos he's finished with this girl, but his friends said he still sees her! why is he still talking to me if he's got this other girl?!?

Give him an ultimatum; either you guys are together, or you don't know each other at all. Either he's in a romantic relationship with you, or there is no relationship, period.


Don't allow him to waver or stall. It doesn't matter how much he claims to say he loves you if he refuses to act on it and leaves you hanging.

My boyfriend has been looking for a second job since he could get kicked out of his house any second now. He dropped some of his classes, and just took one online class. Which he just finished. He was applying as a waiter, which I for some reason didn't like because seeing my sister work as a waitress for such a long time; she has a lot of health problems, such as back hurting and etc. I didn't want him to become one because of that and also because since he has a curfew of 10, he won't be home till later, especially if it includes counting tips and etc. But what bothers me more is that, he probably won't have enough time to see me. I mean, I have school every day morning to afternoon. He doesn't, but he's training now in the afternoon till night, and I always see him at night. I guess because it's been like this for 7 months, it's hard to cope with the change so fast since I'm so used to it. I feel selfish, I probably am selfish. But probably what scares me the most are the girl waitresses. I'm not sure if there are girl waitresses, because this is a Japanese restaurant. For some reason Japanese restaurant's over here either choose mainly guys or girls to work as waitresses or waiters. I guess I've been watching too many movies about guys for some reason ends up cheating on girls, and that somewhat effects me. But also because he's been pushing me away lately because we have been getting into fights. He tried breaking up with me at one point, but then realized he still loved me and came back. Then two to three days ago, he said that I am probably better off without him and he'd rather want me to find someone else. He tried breaking up again, I was heartbroken. He said he still loved me, and he wants to be with me, but it seems like he can't do anything right. So I feel as if a girl can jump in any time soon since he can leave me any time soon as well. It gets me worried. I know talking to him about it should help, but I know what he's going to say. "I don't care about other girls, I'm going to still have time for you, but you're going to have to understand I can't see you all the time." I do understand, but even if he says he doesn't care about other girls, I still worry a bit. Anything could happen.

The reason why I still worry is because he says no girl ever likes him, it's "rare" apparently. But I liked him. But now, towards other girls... Even when they just first meet him he is really nice.. I mean really nice. When I met him, he was always mean to me. He always gave me this "douche vibe". I guess I find it unfair? I don't know. I'm trying to be supportive, because I know he really needs this job. But it's really hard.

I'm trying not to cry, because I'm probably just worrying myself out. But I can't help it, tears are just coming down by itself. I told him I was insecure, and he said "Oh.. Really? Even if I don't care about other girls?" I said, "Yes really." And he said, "Oh.. Sorry, I need to treat you a lot better huh?" I asked what that meant, he ended up saying "If you're that insecure, that means I'm not treating you very well." He treats me well, I guess because I'm scared that he can leave any minute now. I mean, I was never insecure before. But now I am. What am I going to do?

So he's on the verge of being kicked out of his house, he's already dropped classes in preparation for taking on another job, and he's making good on that by applying to be a waiter.


That's serious shit. Yet, in return, you respond by coming up with a bunch of bullshit about him being mean to you when you first met and your sister being a waitress and him not having as much time to see you.


You're both bitches. You for being so insecure that you're trying to negatively impact his life out of your own selfishness, and him for actually allowing you to do it.

This week i was informed that i have been selected to go to France and study frence with a honors program. It is an opertunity of a life time. The problem is that my brother is getting married at the time i would be in France. So should i go to my brothers wedding and miss out or go to France and miss hiw wedding?

So, my ex-boyfriend and I broke up a lifetime ago. Recently, my dad's girlfriend started working at the same hospital that he works (he's on the lift team and she's a PT).

Anyways, So I've always still kinda have feelings for him, although dating him would probably not be for the best.

So, from what my dad's girlfriend told me... he is always talking to this girl at the front desk and she said that he has no reason to be there.
And she said that the girl looks exactly like me.

So, why?

We had a bad falling out and it was his fault for treating me like shit (he stood me up and then lied about it and this was when we were "talking" again, we weren't dating... but I invited him out for my friends to meet him and I looked like an ass because I kept telling my friends how amazing he was, blah blah blah, bullshit. And then he stood me up, tried to make me feel about about it and then lied to me).

I was expecting it because at the time it was too good to be true. But, if he still has feelings for me then why wouldn't he just try to mend things? I saw him two weeks ago while he was working and I was visiting my boss in the hospital... and he kept looking at me/for me. Why can't he just get over himself?

Sorry, this turned out to be a rant more than anything, lol.

But really, what? You're making a huge deal out of literally nothing, because you clearly still have feelings for him. Let's reexamine the information you've given;

He's an asshole, you guys broke up a long time ago. He works at some hospital and is seen always talking to a girl in an area he has no reason to be in. Why? He clearly is interested in her. He's not sending you some secret message of remaining interest; he's trying to get into this girl's pants and she happens to resemble you, which is completely irrelevant and does not relate to the situation at all. Period.

When you went to the hospital, he kept looking at you. Why? You guys had a bad break up and were once in a relationship. Why wouldn't he be looking at you? Completely meaningless.


So, these two meaningless events, when combined together, only create something even more meaningless.


In conclusion, you still have feelings for him, he is totally over you and seriously could not care less, and I still give average advice.

I should be grateful for that fact! Because really he isn't the nicest guy and treats me like I'm made of glass. So the other day he was talking to me and telling me all about the girls his currently in to. It really bothered me! What bothers me even more is that it bothered me.I thought I was over him. I want to be over him. So why can't I move past him? What do I need to do?

If he isn't the nicest guy and treats you like crap, then why are you friends with him? And if you're not friends with him, why are you talking to him?


Avoid him, don't talk to him, and then you can get over him.
