15/f. Now that school started and everything, I can't help but notice the people around me changed. My friends are no longer close to me, they seek their own *other* group of friends and I feel left out. They also make no visible effort to try to patch things up and maybe work something out or work on something. So, basically, I don't like them anymore. i have a serious problem haha. i get turned off by guys soo easily. like for example, at homecoming, i thought this kid was soo hot, like the hottest kid i have ever seen, but when i danced with him, i was soo turned off afterwards. and basically it's like, i am attracted to a guy until he starts talking. i know that sounds so mean but its true. what can i do to get over this? Get to know them better? There going to talk anyways, get to know them a little better and you might like them more. Theres not much you can do unless you want to tape his mouth shut. If hese interesting maybe youll like him more.

Its the wrong file type, in the advanced section of itunes there is an option (or so i heard, never used it) to change files to Mpeg-4 (the right file type). or you can just google "movie converter" in google and look around until you find one you like.

How many years does it usually take for your period to become regular? I started my period the summer before 8th grade and now i'm in 9th and it's still irregular. Does it take a couple years for it to become regular? And one time my period was extremely light and lasted for about 5 days and I mean REALLY light I didn't even need a pantyliner or anything because it was so light, is that weird? (link)

it takes about 2-3 years to regulate, but sometimes longer.
also, excersize can throw off your period; during my field hockey seasons, i need to wear like a pantyliner for only one day and then its over, which is yea really wierd
so youve only had it for year so its totally normal for them to be really irregular! you dont need to worry about it =]

Well last year, a guy asked me out, and I said no because I was super nervous. I felt really bad since he tried to get me for like a month. Well, now I sort of regret it, and would totally go out with him if he asked again. It's the beginning for your period. I remember when I first got my perod; it was weird colors, not blood red. Your first period is brown the first time. It will become a real period after the day you first got it, so prepare!

I know that you've heard these questions a million times, but each question is different in a small way.
I'm 15/f and school recently just started for me (freshman in high school... new school for me). It started out about 2 weeks ago when in one of my classes, we were getting quizzes back and I was still waiting for the teacher to call my name. Then I heard the teacher say this guys name. We will call him Blake in this story. So he stood up and went to claim his quiz, and when I looked at him... I was seriously like *whoa* he was so hot and I really like him. He's not like SUPER hot, like who always gets girls attention... but in my world he is hot. So I asked my friend if she knew him and she said yeah, he lives in her neighborhood. He plays hockey and during some days I kept an eye on him, just to see what he is like... and I found that he is really nice and always smiling and joking around. I really want to get to know him more.... I had a chance about 3 days ago because we were correcting papers and we had partners... my friend told me to go up to him and ask him to trade papers, but I got freaked out so i switched with another group. :(
I'm always thinking about him and I really want to get him to make the first move. My mom tells me that it's not appropriate for girls to make the first move, and I should let him start. So I've been a little flirty around him.. like laughing near him, sitting a few feet away from him, staring at him, whispering about him when he's a little far away.... etc.
Is there anything else I can do so that he will make the first move and notice me?
Oh and in class about 5 days ago, we were watching a movie and so there was this boring part and I was just looking at everyone else in the classroom, then I turn to look at blake, and he's looking at me, or at least I think he was. Oh and another time was that he was a few feet away from me and so some guy was talking to the person next to blake, and so I overheard and looked at the 2 guys having the conversation, then I looked at blake and he was looking at me. :) is this a sign? You seem really serious about this guy, and that's good. At least your not liking this guy just because of his looks. First, you need to take a deep breath when your around him and don't panic, like I do, lol. If he doesn't take the first move, then you won't have any opportunities anymore, and that will make you feel horrible! Keep on flirting with him, and try to make it more noticable each time. Ask your friends to talk to him and maybe they can figure out who he likes or get a hint. Your friends can ask him like, "How's School? Any girls you like?" Something simple. Even though it might be inappropriate to make the first move, you will loose your opportunity. Make your move, but make is smooth and not stalkish. If he's looking at you, give him a little smile. This might sound childish, but drop your pencil near his desk, and maybe he will help you. Give him the opporunity to talk to you, so it soudns like he's making the moves.

hellll yea field hockey is such a tight ass sportt!
like at my school, were really good at it. our schools known for it. Like we hold the record for the most national consecutive state championship wins (9) and weve won 13 in like the past 20 years. were realllyy good
so if a senior tried out at our school, they wouldn't make it. but if your school isnt really into field hockey, deffinately try out, because its so much fun and really good for you =]

i know this kid who's really sweet. he's skater and he smokes cigarettes and pot and he drinks like every weekend. he's really nice to me and makes an effort to talk to me even if it's about something stupid. for example, if he was absent he'll ask me what we did in class even though i know he doesn't care what we did. he says he's going to try to stop smoking pot but he hasn't done it yet. personally i don't like smokers. i don't want to "kiss an ashtray" but he is really sweet and i heard he might like me from a friend of his. so do i make an effort and forget about the bad things and just have a relationship with him or is it just too many bad things to ignore? drinking and smoking doesnt make him bad... but in the end it might cause a lot of pain and trouble. its your decision, personally i would encourage him to not smoke and drink, but still give him a chance.

if your happy with him, who cares what other people think, your happy. its about how you feel, not how other people feel. and im sure they wouldnt care all too much about how your boyfriend looks.

hi, i know this might be a little too much information but i AM pretty nervous for some strange reason. First off i NEVER had sex in my life, i have done other things but sex isn't one of them. anyway. i am really nervous because my period the past 3 months has either been on the 7th or 8th day of the month but its now the 14th almost the 15th and i still haven't got it is that normal for a 15 year old girl?
now although i havent had sex im still REALLY nervous like if there is something wrong with me.

You don't need to worry! As a teenager, irregular periods are perfectly normal. I get this all the time. I usually get my period on Saturdays, but latley, I've gotten them on weekdays. Don't be nervous, and if you know that you've never had sex, then you don't have to worry about it.

Your period is on the way. Normally, this white discharge is the beginning. I remember when I didn't have my period, I had this same problem. It will stop and you will have your period.

I hear that question many times during school. My answer is, NO! If you like this boy, like him; don't let the age difference bother you. Your only two years different. Maybe other people will talk, but they are just immature. In the future, when your older, age different by two years is not much different. My mom is 2 years older than my dad. If people talk, just make your point.
