I hear that question many times during school. My answer is, NO! If you like this boy, like him; don't let the age difference bother you. Your only two years different. Maybe other people will talk, but they are just immature. In the future, when your older, age different by two years is not much different. My mom is 2 years older than my dad. If people talk, just make your point.

one of my friends last yr. (10th grade) was dating an 7th grader. we all thought it was weird and it didn't last long because he wasn't as relationship mature as she was, but hey go ahead and try it, everyone's different. but you'll probably get a lot of opinions about it.

Hell no. I'm 13 and dating an 18 year old hottie. it's normal. Sure, there's the age difference, but love is weird. Nobody said it was normal, haha! :)

There is nothing wrong with it. It might be considered out of the norm, but who cares? If the two people like each other it shouldn't matter. Sure, the 9th grade may be a bit more experienced or at least a bit more knowledgeable, but it shouldn't matter if the two are happy. When I was in the 9th grade I was the same age as a lot of 7th graders (for the first month or two) then the same age as a bunch of 8th graders, so it's no big deal. Think of when we get older, two years won't make any difference at all.

Wrong-not persay, but it could be awkward. You probably know more about relationships than he does... if this question is about you- lol. But look at it this way, you are probably only about 3 years older than him, and most of our parents are like 3-5 years apart in age, so I guess it depends.

there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that. of course some people are probably gonna jugde you or talk shit and stuff like that, but don't let them bring you down. just remember, age is just a number, and the only thing that matters is that you're happy and he's happy. trust. i have a friend who's 23 &she's dating a 17 year old. yeah, it's illegal and stuff, and it sounds bad, but you should just see them together. they really make each other happy, and thats the only thing that matters.
