ok so like about a week ago my boyfriend broke up with me and i have been haging out with my friends alot latley and some are boys and my mom thinks im boy crazy because i have a couple guys friends? what can i do to get her to stop acting like that. cause im not boy crazy i just have guy friends that i hang out with and i would never like that way.

Sit her down & explain it to her. Explain to her why you hang out with guys rather than girls. Tell her you're not boy crazy, you just like to hang out with them because they're less drama & more fun to be around.


If she fails to see where you're coming from, then ignore her boy crazy comments. You know you're not, so that's what matters.

just so you know this is kind of a couple questions ok so i've been walking alot. Since i walk i get thirsty and i can only really drink cold water when i walk and alot of it will this help lose weight??? Also how long will it take to show that you've lost weight i mean i know it wont show up right after walking or whatever but how long does it take? Another question is there anything that can boost my metabolism and something that can boost my energy and also something that can like make me lose weight faster well what i mean something that can help me lose weight period thanks in advance sorry theres really bad well kind of no punctuation but whatever

I'm not exactly sure how old you are since you didn't state your age, but the person below me had very dangerous advice.


If you're under 21, I do NOT suggest you take diet/energy pills. Those are harmful to your body & once you stop taking them, you gain everything right back. So do NOT take them.


Overall though, it could take a few weeks til you notice the pounds dropping. Since you've been walking quite a bit, maybe step it up. Try jogging & then running. It'll build muscle & it'll build your metabolism & maybe make it faster.


And drinking water/exercise won't be the only helpful things towards losing weight. Start eating healthy as well. Eat fruits/veggies. Try not to have drinks with lots of sugars, so cut out sodas/artifically flavored juices with high fructose corn syrup. Cut down on how many sweets you eat & cut down on junk food. Try not to eat from fast food places as much. Maybe try a salad or something with a light dressing? As for water, drink 8 glasses a day & drink 4 glasses of milk a day.


If you do that, getting to your desired weight should be easy. Good luck!

So I thought this summer was gonna be really awesome and all, but I've pretty much been bored since I've been out of school. My friends never want to do anything exciting or they're not available. I'm also waiting on two jobs right now, but I'm so bored that I just really feel like getting a ton of jobs so I'm not just sitting here online all summer. And I don't have my driver's license yet, either, so yeah. Ugh. What can I do to make my summer more interesting? Sorry if I'm being really vague.

Read. Try a new video game. Set a goal for yourself. Go get your driver's license. Call those places that are hiring you back. Spend time with the family you're close with. Go see a movie. Go shopping. Work out.

You could try getting the EnV. This kid I know has it, and it's a really nice phone. Plus it's easier to use than most simply because it's more like a computer, so texting is much easier than it would be on a regular phone.


PROS:
- internet access [myspace & such].
- good quality camera
- good quality pictures.
- easier texting.
- probably more memory.
- pretty light/compact.

CONS:
- phone might be expensive.
- it could be easier to break.
- easy to become obesessed with.
- plans might be expensive.


But, it's a fairly good phone, and I was on Verizon, I'd get that. Sadly, I'm on Cingular and I'm stuck with some crappy RAZR with no texting.

If you're boyfriend keeps bring a condom around you whenever you see each other, he's obviously planning something. It's obviously to have sex with you, but who knows if he'll do it with your permission.

There is nothing to make your boobs bigger. Boob size comes from genetics. Does your mom have big boobs? If not, you probably won't get them either. Honestly, take it from someone who has huge boobs, they're not that great. You don't want back pain, and you don't want guys hitting on you for the wrong reasons. People will never see you for you. They'll just see you for your boobs.


Anyways, in order to make them LOOK bigger, wear a pushup bra. It pushes them up & makes them look/seem bigger. Other than that, keep waiting. You've got a few more years. You won't be small forever & if you are, cherish it. Huge boobs suck. When I get enough money, I'm getting a reduction.

Good grammar is easier to read & it doesn't give you a headache. When typing in all lowercases you can still read it, but it's harder & it takes a little longer.


All in all, it just looks better & says something about you as a person. Lowercases can make someone think you're lazy & sloppy. But type with the proper grammar & punctuation makes you seem as if you take your time & you like things to be neat. There's nothing wrong with lowercases [I use them on my column in my little About Me thing] but put the proper punctuation in.

Is there any good way to deal with feelings of embarassment? When something embarassing happens to me, everytime I think about it even weeks after it happens it just kills me. I feel terrible about myself.

Accept it. Embarassment is always going to happen to you. But if you learn to accept the fact that it happens to everybody & that it's always going to happen no matter what, you'll see it in a new way. When I get embarassed, I usually just laugh it off like a joke of some sort. That way it doesn't bother me too much & I can move on with life.


Also, it helps to be comfortable with yourself. If you're comfortable with who you are then embarassing things shouldn't be made into such a huge deal. Learn to laugh at yourself & things won't seem so bad.
