PHONE!!

Question Posted Tuesday June 26 2007, 9:29 pm

My chocolate phone is broken, for like the 2390283 time this month. Its so cheap, I hate it, and I am going to do whatever it takes to get a new phone.

I have verizon wireless. No, I can't switch. What phone would you reccomend? If you have a new verizon phone, like the ones that are still avalible, please let me know what it is, and the pros and cons. Thanks.

:]

i don't think the chocolate phone is cheap. i've had mine since semptember and nothing has happened to it.
you must've gotten a crappy one, or maybe you don't handle it right.

but anyways, i agree with Rob too. go for a simple phone. unless you like all the fancy stuff, then.. go to one of the stores & look around, see what you like. ask about the phone first though, so you don't end up in the same situation.

I'd actually have to agree with Rob, below me. I have Alltel, unfortunately-- those red phones that are like, buy one get one or something-- yeah, those.

I've had mine for 18 months and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. :]
lolz.
I'd like to update phones-- but not until something happens to this one, first.

You could try getting the EnV. This kid I know has it, and it's a really nice phone. Plus it's easier to use than most simply because it's more like a computer, so texting is much easier than it would be on a regular phone.

PROS:
- internet access [myspace & such].
- good quality camera
- good quality pictures.
- easier texting.
- probably more memory.
- pretty light/compact.

CONS:
- phone might be expensive.
- it could be easier to break.
- easy to become obesessed with.
- plans might be expensive.

But, it's a fairly good phone, and I was on Verizon, I'd get that. Sadly, I'm on Cingular and I'm stuck with some crappy RAZR with no texting.

Go for a phone without all the bullshit on it. A simple flip phone that also has a camera is all you need, and they seem to break less. The cooler cameras usually suck at first because they're rushed and flawed. So fuck fanciness, just look like a nice cheap basic phone and you'll be set for years (I'm serious, my old Sprint phone almost lasted 2 years).
