about

I'm a mother of 2 boys who are 13 months apart. Talk about a handful. I'm a wife to the best husband I could have ever dreamed of.
I'm one of the very blessed.

I have Bipolar 1 Disorder. I hate taking all these medications and always going to doctors appointments, but life is too short to let mental illness get the better of me.

Often times life is a challenge, and nobody knows that better than me. I wake up wondering if this is going to be a day my illness overpowers my meds, and either sends me flying like a bat out of hell, or leaves me laying on the couch like a wet dish rag.

Thank all that is good in the world that I have an excellent support system at home.
I'm one of the lucky ones.

I'm honest, and that can either be a perk or s flaw. Depends on how you choose to look at it.
I like to see it as a perk, because it's better to hear the truth than to be told candy coated bullshit.

advice

I dyed my hair with permanent red dye two days ago. I had blonde & light brown highlights that were from 8 months ago (from a salon) and I figured that it wouldn't come out perfectly even since my hair's naturally almost black.

It came out with multidimensional colors... and i LOVED it. It's already fading. What's weird is; it's fading out of the blonde pieces only. (A significant part of my hair) Besides touching up the color with the leftover dye I had (I mixed it with alittle conditioner and i treat it like a hair mask every night) and using protective shampoo, is there anything else I can do to get the color to last longer? And how long until I can dye it the same color again? I'm thinking two treatments would be better because my hair was so dark.

thanks for any help!

Not only is red the hardest color to get out of your hair, but it is the hardest to put into your hair.

My hair has been every color under the sun (literally) in an estimated 15 year period of time.

It is fading from the blonde because, number one, it is the lightest color of hair, and number two, if the blonde is from highlighting, those strands are more damaged and have an even harder time taking on red.

I wouldn't advise color treating your hair no sooner than one week following the first time. The chemicals are far too damaging to do it over and over. If you do it too much and too often, your hair will literally liquefy into a spoungy mush. No good.

If you plan to go red, your best bet would be to have a salon do it first, then touch up your roots and such as needed at home if you choose. Salon coloring chemicals are WAY different than what we buy in the store, so they would be able to get the color to actually set in.

ok i have a guy friend and well me and him have a pretty good relationship i tell him everything and he tells me everything we trust each other but just right now he tried telling me sumthing that was bothering him and just because i jokingly said "here we go again" he got mad at me and said "wow u think im some one whos got problems" and got really pist off i tried saying sorrry a million times and i even said i would make it up to him but he still wont budg in..how do i learn to deal with his temper tantrums? or better how do i get him to forgive me?

The best thing is to not make this sort of situation.

He is right to be mad. You are his trusting friend who he tried to confide something that was upsetting him. I would have gotten pissed at my friend, too.

The statement you made, though you said it in jest, was insensitive.

Give him until tomorrow. Then give him a sincere apology. Give him time to get over it and forgive you. That's all you can do at this point.

The kid I like is a horny, horny boy. And who can blame him? He hit puberty. He probably just wants action.
But my idea is that if I gave him a blowjob, he'd like it. If i told him that I'd keep doing it if he asked me out, we'd be together.

What does everyone think of this plan?

-Jordan

Ok... Uh... NO. I'm sorry, but this plan is ludicrous.

How do you think this sounds? I mean, really:

"I'll give you a blow job if you'll be my boyfriend, and I'll keep doing it if you'll stay my boyfriend."

This is no way to present yourself. Not to him, or anyone else. Number one, it makes you sound so desperate for a boyfriend that it outright makes me sad. And I don't even know you. How do you think it will sound to him and everyone else you know once the word gets around?

It makes me cringe, really, because, number two, it's selling yourself. You would be selling to this boy sexual favors in return for an empty relationship. Because, lets take it at face value, an empty relationship is all it would be.

He'll be in it for the blow jobs. He won't have feelings for you, but he'll sure have feelings for your mouth.

Next thing you know, is that he is telling you he'll break up with you if you don't have sex with him. What will you do?

No guy in this world is so wonderful that he is worth selling yourself out.

I don't think my parents get it.
They think im supposly smart when I try, & yeah.. I kinda am. But, I tried SO hard for studying for my midterms. & I didn't do well on hardly ANY of them. I got an A+ on my english, a C+ in math, & my religion.. well I failed it. & my history I got a C-. Like, I thought I did really good, except religion, I didn't study something right or whatever. Anyways, I don't get how to explain it to my mom & everything, that I don't get everything. Like my little brother, hes like so smart. He gets maybe 2 Bs on his report card. I try hard, but I'm just really not that smart.. what do I say to my parents? Whats my like excuse?!

Reassure them that you did your best, you studied hard, and you will study harder in order to do better next time. In my opinion, that's more important than getting an A. Your parents will surely understand that.

Also, you add the fact that midterms are big, stressful tests. And the fact that you were probably nervous, not only because it's a big test, but because you want to hold yourself up to the standards you feel your parents have set for you.

Sure, they will probably be upset. They will get over it. You aren't stupid, and you didn't just shrug off your studies.

Things happen. People get bad grades sometimes. I would bet my hat that your parents didn't always get straight A's, so they DO understand what it's like to have a bad grade now and again.

Keep trying hard and doing your best. Don't get yourself down about it. You still have half of a year to improve your overall grades.

Okay so when i was younger i used to be very overweight and fat, from about kindergarten to the end of 5th grade, then in 6th grade i stood about 5'3 and 112 pounds, which was amazing for someone coming from about 5'1 144 pounds.
When i was at that weight, i wasnt too self confident but everyone would tell me how pretty i was or that i lost so much weight.
I figured I wanted to loose even more weight, so i began to eat only cereal for a longgggg time.
I gained 90% of the weight back.
I didnt even realize it until I went to the doctor, I was shocked.
After that I decided to go back to my old diet and exercise plan to see if it would work.
It didnt, I just stay at about the same weight and the only way I can loose weight is if I eat barely anything at all.
If I eat as much As i was to eat, then I either stay the same or gain a pound and cry about it.
What makes me the most sad is, I dont think I look really really fat, but the guys at my school make it seem like I am, and its not like I'm a nerd , Im really popular.
I just dont know what to beleieve.
One person will tell me Im not fat , im just big boned.
Then more people will call me fat.
Then someone might say Im just the right size.
As of now I'm 5'5'-5'6 and about 145 pounds.
Dont send me those calculators, i just want an opionion
thanks
and if you have any tips on binge eating

Well, I'm 5'7" and my ideal body weight should be around 155, so I am told.

I would say you aren't fat at your height and weight. They may be saying that to you because they know it gets under your skin.

Eating cereal is good for you, but not in excess. You are putting too many carbs into your body. Carbs are good, but not in excess.

When you barely eat anything, your body lives off of your body fat, and then eventually off of your muscles. (bad thing.) Then, when you go on bursts and eat a more balanced diet, then your body decides to store more fat, basically so it knows it can survive when you eat very little. (bad thing.) Binge eating is always a bad thing.

Your best bet would be to, at all times, stick to a well balanced healthy diet. Get into an exercise regimen. Yo-Yo dieting is too hard on your body. Don't do that.

The best person I know to get advice on how to stay fit, eat healthy, and get the results you are looking for is a columnist named MikeCFT.

If you don't hear from him, ask him in his column inbox.

Take his advice. This guy knows what he is talking about.

what exactly is a frosting party?

Could be like a Tupperware party, but with frosting instead?

I know dreams do not mean much, and they just help you deal with your waking life, but I can usually interpret why I had a dream, and what they mean... but this one, I have no idea why I drempt it:

It started out in a regular car, and someone [I don`t know who] was driving it. My brother was in the passanger, and my friend and I were sitting in the back. The music was blasting and we were all having a good time. Then all of a sudden the driver dropped us off at Petco [lol weird, right?], and he ran in to get something. well my brother dissapeared and my crush turned up. we were there waiting for the guy to come back to bring us somewhere, and we were showing a lot of affection for each other, and he was hugging me from behind & all that stuff. Well the guy came back and my brother showed up out of no where and once my brother showed up, me & my crush barely looked at each other.

Any ideas?? thanks.

Dreams are difficult. No one knows exactly what they are, why they are, or what they mean.

It is assumed that they are basically your subconscious playing you a movie of sorts in order to clear itself. A kind of house cleaning of the mind.

It could mean that you want to be with your crush (of course), but maybe deep down you are worried about your brother's approval.

Or, on a totally different look, maybe it means you have a lack of focus on the tasks at hand. You went to the pet store to get an item, yet were side tracked by your crush and never completed your main objective.

HELLO EVERYONE! I need some help, I want to enter my school pagent but I don't know what I want to do for my talent. I don't play any instruments, but I really want to win. I want to be original though, and I know of this one girl that's going to sing, and she can sing, I can too, but i don't want to sing. PLEASE HELP ME Find something to do.

You could do a song and dance routine, such as a piece from something like a Broadway musical. But you said you don't want to sing.

Maybe you can try to do a skit, or some other sort of acting. It don't have to be dramatic acting. Try something comedic.

Okay so tomorrow im hangin out with this kid and he obviously wants to have sex because hes really horny all the time and hes like open about it.
he says i love you to me but i highly doubt it. he told me he gets made fun of cause hes a virgin but i think thats the only thing he wants from me. how do i tell if he really does love me? he says he doesnt want to rush anything and hell wait until im ready but i dont know. should i trust him?

Only you can know if you can trust him.

I would wager, that if he gets made fun of about his virginity, then he is in a hurry to loose it.

"I love you" is only a phrase. It can be said by anyone, to anyone, for any reason. That means it never has to be heartfelt.

Meaning, if you are not sure if he loves you, then he probably doesn't. How do you tell? It's different for each person, really, but it's something you will know.

I would be willing to bet that he is just saying it to get into your pants. Many guys before him have used that line. They will say what they think you want to hear in order to get what they want.

[view]

This is an odd question,
but is it likely that if you are super stubborn or, I dont know, really blunt, that your kid will have it?

Or atleast some of you and your husbands qualities? or do they have their complete own?

Well, I'm pretty blunt with my honesty at times, like my mom. I'm stubborn and bull headed, like my dad. But I do have my own qualities, as well.

As to weather this is an inherited thing or a learned thing, I don't know.

Some say that a child raised not knowing their parents still grow to have bits of their parent's personalities.

Kind of a strange phenomenon, if you think about it.

how do i know if my hymen is broken? besides the whole bleeding thing, is there something i can actually feel or something to let me know?

answers appreciated asap

Not really. Some don't experience any feeling or bleeding.

If you've had intercourse, it's broken. There is no question in that.

so yesterday my friend called me up and asked me if i ever had a blood clot the size of a nailpolish bottle come out during my period. i told her no . she said that it had tenticle looking things like a baby octopus. she thinks it might've been a miscarraige .. is this what it is? if you know anything i'll apprichiate it very much.

Uh... she should call her doctor right away! This is very important! Even if it isn't a miscarriage, there may be some other problem that needs to be looked into.

Here is a link to webmd regarding miscarriage symptoms.

When a guy says
" you were moaning like a bitch"
is that good or bad?

If a man ever said that to me, I would jack slap him for comparing me to a female dog in reference to the sex I just gave him. Good meaning or not.

so i have a boyfriend. he loves me and tells my im amazing/gorgeous/beautiful and everything a girl loves to hear on a regular basis. we've been together over a year. he says he loves my body. the thing is, i dont love it. at all. i mean yeah i have big boobs but thats about it. im overweight (5'9" about 251 lbs, size 18 pants and 3x shirt). im completely disgusted with my body but somehow he finds me beautiful and almost has me thinking maybe its true. but how do i see myself the way he sees me? i believe that he thinks so but im just like "ugh...why?". he wants me to be self confident but its like i just cant. im ahnee on advicenators if you want a pic (its small though)

Check out my picture on my column.

I am happy with who I am, not what I am.

You have to put yourself into that frame of mind. You have to be able to look in the mirror and see who you are, not the ugly reflections that society makes us see through billboards, movies, and magazines. Oh, how I love how fake the superficial people of this world are.

You are amazing, gorgeous, and beautiful on the inside. You are a real woman. That's what he sees. That is what shows on the outside.

Some one who is a size 4 and acts like a total bitch is outright ugly.

Yah, guys like boobs. There is no getting away from that. But your guy sees more in you than just your boobs and your exterior.

The only way to see yourself as he does, is to completely change your self opinion. I can't tell you how to do that. Only you can figure that out.

okay so i know this isnt about cumputers but theres no fone catagory!! so my plan, i have 300 minz a month, and free weekends and nights after 7 and tmobile to tmobile. and you know how wen u dial #646# it tells u how many minz are used? well, wenevr i call during weekends or nights, it adds to that! and so im just wondering, is that the simple version, and when they bill me it dosent count? because if it does count im way over my minutes, but i never call anyone until after 8. also, when you go out of the country and you change the time on your fone, does the billing time change to? or do i have to wait until its 7 at the place were i bought it. and, sorry this is so long, but when somone calls me, and i dont pick up, it STILL takes my minutes. any help would serously rock!!! thank you

I had Tmobile. I also had many problems with their service. However, the customer service reps are very nice and helpful.

On your phone, dial 611 to go to Tmobile customer service. Go through all the robot rigmarole and talk to someone there. They will help you. And like I said, sometimes the phone has problems, but the people at customer service are really cool and ready to help.

It sounds to me like you may have a problem. It shouldn't count all of the minutes used, only your peak time minutes used to call non Tmobile customers.

Your phone number should be for the area of the address and zip code provided for billing information. Say you got the phone in New York, but you live in California, the bill will come to California, so you will have a California number. Make sense?

Ok so I know when anybody says "I have a friend who..." they mean themselves. but im really talking about someone else here

so my friend travis and i were talking about taking midterms next week, and he said he heard about people taking chap stick and running it across the little black bars to make all the answers correct. i know it sounds stupid for me to ask this, but is he right? because there IS a possibility, but if its not true i dont want him to fail his exams, because he would have just wrote down random answers and used the chap stick.
please help me out

So, we have concluded that it isn't possible.

Now, since Travis is your friend, and you don't want him to be a failure in life, tell him he better study up.

No cheating method is worth cheating yourself out of your future (because when you cheat in your studies, you are only cheating yourself). And your education IS your future.

As his caring, kind, concerned friend, make sure he realizes that.

k so i want to go snowboarding on thursday.. (tomorrow) and i cant find any of my girl friends that can go because half of them dont snowboard and the other can't. i have 2 guys that invited me to go and i want to go and i kinda like one of them.. i really want to go but the only problem is that my parents wont let me because they dont want me going with boys. they said itd be fine if i atleast went with one girl then i could join the boys, but theyre afraid that if i get hurt the boys will be at the bottom of the hill not knowing. i know they wouldnt just leave if i was hurt and we board as a group, its not like i do hardcore jumps and try to kill myself. please help, thx alot!

p.s. im 15, f and ive boarded for a while so its not like im bad and can hurt myself and my mom knows both these guys and i went out with the one guy before but he cheated on me..

Hate to tell you, but sounds like your only option is to find a girl to go along. Unless you can get an adult your parents trust to escort. That may not be the idea you are seeking.

It's not that they don't like these guys, they are probably not ready to place trust of their 15 year old daughter's well being into the hands of a couple of guys.

I know how it goes. If I would have asked my parents the same question, they would have laughed until they turned blue before they could spit out the big "NO, NEVER." Girls along or not...

I'm kind of confused about what I believe in. You see, my family and I don't go to church because my parents want me to make my own decision about what religion I want to be, even though they are Catholic. But I'm not really sure about what religion I am. I'm a strong believer in karma and that things eventually even out and that people get what they deserve eventually(although that's not how it seems to be working out in my life right now...) but anyways, I believe in God but I believe in karma, too. Is that like a contradiction? Can you believe in both? Just a thought.

I won't argue with Razhie. :D

I just want to tell you, that the way I see it, there is no law in this world (or out of it) that says you have to believe just one thing exactly.

You can believe whatever you want. That's all that matters.

It's like this, I was raised a Methodist. Those teachings are always with me. So, I believe in that.

However, I believe in Catholicism. I believe in Buddhism. I believe in Judaism. I believe in Jehovah's Witnesses. I believe in Wicca. I believe in Greek Mythology. The list goes on. Any religion or belief any person has, I believe in too. I believe because they do.

I believe in karma as well. What comes around does go around, it just takes time, because we all get what we deserve in the end.

Does that make me a bad person? Nah. I figure it like this, though I don't practice all the religions, somebody does. If they believe in it, who am I or anyone else to say they are wrong for doing so? I don't think anyone is wrong.

Okay, so hopefully that babble made some sort of strange sense.

Point in hand is this. If I can believe in all of these things with a clear conscience (meaning I don't see how this could buy me a ticket to Hell, basically), then why can't you believe in God and karma in the same breath?

Believe what your heart desires. That is why God created you to be a free thinking individual.

Alright. Done rambling.
