Question Posted Wednesday January 10 2007, 6:42 pm

k so i want to go snowboarding on thursday.. (tomorrow) and i cant find any of my girl friends that can go because half of them dont snowboard and the other can't. i have 2 guys that invited me to go and i want to go and i kinda like one of them.. i really want to go but the only problem is that my parents wont let me because they dont want me going with boys. they said itd be fine if i atleast went with one girl then i could join the boys, but theyre afraid that if i get hurt the boys will be at the bottom of the hill not knowing. i know they wouldnt just leave if i was hurt and we board as a group, its not like i do hardcore jumps and try to kill myself. please help, thx alot!

p.s. im 15, f and ive boarded for a while so its not like im bad and can hurt myself and my mom knows both these guys and i went out with the one guy before but he cheated on me..

Hate to tell you, but sounds like your only option is to find a girl to go along. Unless you can get an adult your parents trust to escort. That may not be the idea you are seeking.

It's not that they don't like these guys, they are probably not ready to place trust of their 15 year old daughter's well being into the hands of a couple of guys.

I know how it goes. If I would have asked my parents the same question, they would have laughed until they turned blue before they could spit out the big "NO, NEVER." Girls along or not...
