my boyfriend and i have been going out for a year and a half. but i havent seen him for the past month even thought we go to the same school he just ditches plans. we fought and nearly broke up but for the last week i just stay home all day and cry i have no idea why and i usually go out everyday with him or friends or shopping. i just really need to see him. anything i can do to cheer me up? he wont hangout with me

Unfortunately, you can't make him hang out with you. You need to find something to distract yourself- hang out with friends or find something to do.
And let him know that it bothers you.

This will be my and my boyfriends 2nd valentines day together. Last year we went out for a meal, but this year I want to cook him dinner. But, I can't think of anything to cook! To start with I've decided on chocolate and strawberries and heart-shaped shortcake for dessert (it's our favourite to eat and to bake together). But what about the main meal!? I know how to cook spaghetti bolognese but I've cooked him that before. I don't really have much cooking experience but I can make anything as long as I have a recipe, I would find one myself but I honestly have no idea what to look for!
Another thing about valentines day, I just moved house a few months ago so my room isn't fully decorated. But I was thinking about in the evening, I can decorate my walls with like hearts and the words "I love you" written cut out from card across my wall, for when we come upstairs to watch films or something. Is there anything else I can do with my room to make it more romantic?
Any other ideas or suggestions for valentines day are appreciated :)

Chicken Parmesan on a bed of pasta is pretty easy to make. If you look on the food network website, it'll tell you exactly how to do it, so I'll just give you the basics.

You take chicken cutlets, dip them in milk or egg, then Italian breadcrumbs. Fry them in a pan, then let cool on paper towels on a plate
Put marinara sauce and fresh mozzarella on each cutlet. Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted.
Then just make some basic pasta, if you want you can put parmesan cheese or sauce on it.
On each plate, put a serving of pasta, then the chicken on top.
You could maybe serve garlic bread as a side.

OK, so my boyfriend is really obsessed with Megan Fox. Well who wouldn't be? I like her too, but he is absolutely CRAZED with her. He talks about her 24/7. It gets kind of annoying, as he never wants to talk about anything else when he gets on the subject. It makes me feel like he wants me to be more like her, and I'd have to starve myself to have an amazing body like that. Any suggestions? Or should I just get over it? Thanks.

You just have to mention it to him. Say something along the lines of, it really bugs me and makes me feel like I'm not good enough when all you talk about is Megan Fox.

In the meantime, keep in mind that it's just a dumb celebrity crush, and then he doesn't necessarily expect you to look like that. (You couldn't without plastic surgery anyway, she's had implants, a nose job, and collagen in her lips, among other things.) If you can't stop feeling insecure, one thing that might help, as dumb as it sounds, is thinking about reasons why you're better than here. For instance, I can guarantee that you're smarter than her- she doesn't read because she has a "phobia of paper".
It really is just one of those things that will get better in time though. (Provided your boyfriend tries to stop)

I am 48 years old & have a 22 year old daughter. A couple of months ago, she met a guy named Paul (my fav name, by the way) through friends. They met up 2x with others & 1x alone. They just went to a bar and talked and back to his house. She told me he was a bit boring and not aggressive enough for her - he didn't even kiss her. I started obsessing about this guy for some reason and wanted them to date, but I don't know why - especially since she wasn't into him. The next month, they texted and talked on the phone alot and made plans to go out Jan 8th. She told me he never called her & I didn't believe her because of his constant attention. By the way, I found his pic on Facebook and he was so cute and her type - tall, dark wavy hair & laid-back. I checked my cell phone bill records and found she texted him something the night before they were supposed to go out, but don't know what she could have said. Obviously, she blew him off; since then he hasn't called or texted her again. She told everyone that he was the one who never contacted her. I told her I know she is lying and why wouldn't she just fess up. She still denies texting him that night. She even told me she texted him the following night & didn't. I cannot stop wondering why she would do this and accept a 2nd date if she didn't like him in the 1st place. Can anyone explain why I am obsessing over this situation? She has had a few other casual relationships and I never cared or obsesssed like I am doing now. I barely eat & sleep & cry in spurts. I lost 15 lbs. Why am I acting like this? Any ideas? I feel like texting him and asking him, but it sounds creepy and really nuts. What is going on with me? PLEASE HELP ASAP!!

Try putting yourself in your daughter's shoes. When you were that age, if your mother had done a similar thing (with a guy you had no interest in), how would you feel? Your behavior is inappropriate and intrusive.

You cannot make her like him, nor should you. It's her life, and if she doesn't like this guy or want to be tied down right now, so what? There's tons of great guys out there.

You need to find something to do with your time so you're not facebook stalking and checking texts.
I would be absolutely furious if my mom did the same thing to me. Do not text him. Find something to distract yourself, find a hobby, just stop getting involved in things that have nothing to do with you.
To be honest, I really have no clue why you are crying, etc. Could it be something unrelated? PMS, not eating enough, depression, periomenopause or even regular menopause? (Women in their 40's have had it)

About a week ago my boyfriend and I were talking, and he decided to drop a bomb shell on me. "I'm asexual! There are you happy now!?" All because I asked him why he'd never had any major crushes. I was absolutely not expecting that, but in a weird way, I didn't mind at all. I asked him a few questions and he explained to me that yeah the female body doesn't turn him on but the sensations of sex are fine. But every time I try and get him to listen to me and tell him I actually don't mind at all, he shuts me out. How can I get him to actually listen to me on this subject?

If you've already tried to tell him you don't mind, and he won't listen, no point in trying to over and over again, you'll just annoy him. It's probably embarrassing to him and something he doesn't want to talk about, so let it go.

I don't have time for a shower in the morning, so I take one before bed. And sometimes I'll wake up and my hair is frizzy. Is there a quick way to bring down the frizz????

Take your shower a little earlier so your hair has time to dry before you sleep.

Also, use a product designed to eliminate frizz. On the cheaper side, CitreShine Serum works (you can buy it at a drugstore or Walmart). If you're willing to spend a little more, It's a 10 leave in product is totally amazing.

i love models hair when there not working- that greesy i just woke up look is so sexy for some reason. they balance greese and cleanliness so well, like its not oily enough to be considered dirty but its not clean eough to be considered clean.

Hey guysss, I'm curious as to what you guys think is the best kind of cover-up. I don't really have acne, but I'll get random pimples and need a nice type of cover up that will make my face seem less red and well pimpley. Let me know what you guys think.

Stick coverup, applied with a concealer brush, will work best for you.

Start with a face primer to help your makeup stay on and look more natural. I love the Bare Escentuals primer, but there are also less expensive drugstore options.

Next, apply a mineral powder foundation. Unlike regular foundations and are easy to apply. If you have bad skin or a lot of redness you'd like to cover up (or even just okay skin but you want coverage), Maybelline Mineral Power powder foundation is amazing. If you just want very sheer coverage and get a glow, Neutrogena Mineral Sheers is great. (The kind that comes in the brush).

Now it's time for concealer. If you have decent sized specific areas you want to cover (i.e. chin or around nose), a regular sized concealer brush is great. Like this one:

If you just have one or two pimples you want to cover up, precision brushes are amazing. They cover just the problem without getting concealer everywhere else. I love this one:

There are a lot of different methods you can use, like stippling, light strokes, etc. Practice makes perfect and you will learn what technique works on your face best.

The most important step is to set it with powder, otherwise it will come right off during the day. Translucent powder will look the most natural. L'oreal's Bare Naturale powder is the best:

No. I don't know where you got that idea from but it's totally wrong, and honestly if you don't know things like that you shouldn't be doing anything in the first place.

I have a 3 year old male cat, he has been pooping outside his box on a daily basis, this has been going on for a few months, its starting to get really annoying cleaning up the floor so much, I have 6 boxes in my house, I also have 4 other cats 2 males and 2 females, and a free roaming rabbit(that will occasionally use the boxes.) i can say that he is a very nervous cat, any noise or person he sees he runs, except for me.. due to what he has been doing, ive limited him to my room only cut off from the rest of the house, but when he sneaks out... around 12am ill later find his mess inches from the box. i dont know what the problem could be

I don't know how to stop it, but my cat does the same thing, and what you need to do is buy puppy training pads. They sell them at Walmart and pet stores. Put them outside the box wherever he poops and it makes it a lot easier to clean up.

When I put my jeans on they fit like they should, but as the day goes on they stretch out some. I don't wash my jeans every single time i wear them, because they just don't get that dirty...is there any way besides washing & drying them to get them back to how they were before they got stretched out?

Most jeans do that, it helps if you buy ones that are more cotton and less spandex (it will say on the label). I've noticed American Eagle's jeans stretch out less, while cheaper ones do more. The best I've ever had are J Brand (very expensive). Can wear them for 3 days and they won't stretch.

Only way to unstretch them is wash and dry them as far as i know.

i take a shower everyday and then my hair is greasy. i dont know what it is. i will get up in the morning, take a shower & by 6th hour itll be greasy. is there anything to solve this? i rate 5 for all(:

You need to be using a clarifying shampoo. Suave and many other brands make them. They will remove the buidup and keep your hair from getting greasy.

If you're still having problems (and shampooing every day, doing a good job lathering and rinsing), you could try a dry shampoo as a temporary solution. Drugstores sell a brand call Pssst, and stores like Sephora sell Oscar Blandi.

Ok so I'm 17 years old and my boyfriend is about to be 20 years old. We always talk about how we can't wait to finally live together and start our own live together. Better question. Why do you want a baby now? Without more details I can't say much, but are you out of high school? In college? Do both of you have jobs? Do you live together?

I need a new face wash but something that isn't too drying. I'm using an off-brand equate thing I got from Wal-Mart but it dries my face out too much for the winter time when I go outside into the cold, dry air. Unless you have severe acne, you should switch to a regular facial cleanser during winter, as the ingredients in acne cleansers dry out skin a lot.
Try Cetaphil (or the generic brand of it). It's not harsh and will cleanse your skin without drying it out or clogging your pores.

My boyfriend and i have been going out for over 6 months now. When we first started going out (this was during the school year), we'd hang out like every Friday & he'd text/AIM me pretty much every day. Over the summer we'd hang out like twice a week, and he'd also text me or AIM me all the time.
When school started again, this kind of slowed and stopped. I see him less and less now; we haven't done anything together since Christmas break (and that was only for like four hours), and before that, I don't even remember. 1) does it work the same even when you're not on birth control?

2) what is birth control failure?

3) how do you know birth control failure has occured?

4) if i don't have sex casually, (like, maybe three times every few months), and i'm not on the pill, would plan B still work for me?

2 Birth control failure is when for one reason or another your birth control will not work 100%. Maybe you missed a pill, took it late, or are on another medication that makes it not work. Birth control also includes other forms of contraception, like a condom ripping.

4 No. You should not take it more than once, it is emergency only as it's not good for your body and the more you take it, the less effective it is. Also, it's fairly expensive. Condoms are a better option.

please share the steps about how to go about the following:

A) going on birth control w/o parents knowing

B) getting the morning after pill

It depends on your state. I don't know about other states, so I'll just say what you have to do in California. (You can google information about your specific state.)

A. Your best option is Planned Parenthood. If you go to their website you can find the closest one and call them to make an appointment and ask any questions. In my state, you can get a year of free birth control, and they keep it confidential (i.e. your parents won't find out.) You'll obviously have to hide it somewhere your parents won't find it, and remember to take it at the same time every day (best thing to do is set your cell phone alarm). They will give you some paperwork to fill out, just basic health information, then prescribe you something.
Birth control is not 100% safe (nothing is), so if you're on it, you should still be using condoms.


B. If you're under 18, getting Plan B (the morning after pill) might be kind of difficult, as in most states, you have to be either over 18 or have a doctor's prescription. Again depending on your state,you can get it either at a pharmacy or Planned Parenthood. PP may be able to give you a prescription, you'll have to call and ask. If you're 18 or over, you just need your ID and money. (Where I live, it's $25 at PP and $55 at the pharmacy). This should really be a one-time thing as it's not so great for your body.
