okay every day after i come home from school, i am bored. i don't know why. i mean, i have homework and stuff like that but when i try to do it i get really really distracted and i get in big trouble afterwards. does anyone have any ideas on ways i won't get distracted? and... does anyone have any ideas on what i can do when i get home from school so that i don't get bored? i rate high!!!! thanx!!!!!! :-D

How to not get disctracted:
Turn off the tv, go in your room, turn on soft music, sit down, take out your homework, and concentrate on that ONLY. Don't watch tv while doing homework, or don't talk on the phone while doing homework either, so you won't get discracted by anything.

right this is so hard to explain here i go well theres this boy called james who when i first saw him i thought yes hes nice and well he asked me out i said no because another boy in school asked me out lets call him Alex. Well i grew to really like alex and alex asked me out and i said no because off james. James took me home the other day and well he tryed to kiss me and he basically tried to force me to kiss him and i really did not like that because i decided i did not want to kiss him but we touched lips not a proper kiss just like a touch. Now i feel kinda bad because i really like alex. Alex is the one i want to kiss but i just can't when he goes to kiss me i kinda back away i think what if i do it wrong will he still like me? ahhh and my friend asked alex for his number and he never gave it to her i was sooo happy... Alex says he loves me all the time and james shows no interest.. What shall i do. Whoa, girl! What's going on in your head? You have to pick one of these guys and get your feelings straight before messing with one of these guys over and over. Listen to what your mind and heart says, and in your mind, ask yourself, "Who do I really want to be with?" and pay attention to the way the guys act around you. Alex says he really loves you, and you said that Jason shows no interest, so I suggest going for the guy who really cares about you, and who you really care about. Don't waste your time on a guy who won't show interest in you, go for the one who will.

This isnt a real love life kinda question but like ive heard that chewing gum actually makes your breathe stink? is that true?

Mint gum is made to make your breath smell good, but a type of gum that doesn't smell good WILL make your breath stink lol 'cause it might smell bad. But mint gum and stuff is made to make your breath smell good and sometimes you can buy a kind that will whiten your teeth. I've never heard of someone's breath smelling bad from gum, unless you don't like the smell or taste of mint.

On november 1st I got a boyfriend, and even though we have only been dating a little while I love him and know he is the one for me! Well here is the other part of the story.
Before me and my boyfriend started dating I had this thing going on with my ex boyfriend. Then my exboyfriend said alot of mean stuff to me. Like im a slut and i cant get any guys and all that stuff. Then when I got my boyfriend (that i am with now) my ex boyfriend apologized. My exboyfriend is in my gym class and everyone says that he keeps looking at me. He even poked my tummy! what is up with that? I mean he insulted me (but he apologized) what is he thinking? THe bad part is I kinda like knowing he is looking at me and stuff...

Well, I can understand that you enjoy him looking at you because you like the attention. But don't take it too far with him, because you have a boyfriend now and say that you love him. If you want to go back to your ex, then think about it first before you break up with the boyfriend you have now. If you really love him like you say, then you'll let your ex look all he wants, and just ignore him and the comments he says. He's probably jealous now.

Well, er, no. When they are twins, the sperm splits in half or something, and those will be the twins. I don't know a whole lot about it, but all I know is that when you have sex twice, you cannot get pregnant again.

What do you say when a guy asks you out. I'm only thirteen, so things don't come naturally. Do you just say "yes"? But that sounds like when someone asks you to marry them!! I think too much about simple things. CAn someone help mee?!?! Don't call me dumb please because you're just stating the obvious!

I'll rate honestly.

I would just say, "Sure, I'd love to," and leave it like that. It's not like you have to say a big speech or anything, or just the word "yes" either. Just say what comes to mind, and even if you DO say something dumb, he'll think it's cute that you're embaressed lol. Just make sure you're comfortable with the guy, and don't be wicked nervous about embaressment.

Get to know her and find out if she likes you. If you like her, just be friends first, and then tell her how you feel so it won't scare her at first. If you're afraid to tell her, just flirt and see what she does back. Compliment her and try to talk to her once in awhile (dont stalk her though). Do what your insticts tell you.

My boyfriend and I have been dating 3 months. We both have decided that we're not going to throw around the word 'love'. Seeing as most 14 year old couples do. So this is what we do..

When we do say i love you, we agreed we should only say it when we feel the moment is suitable, but we both know that when we say it we mean 'like is too small of a word, but love might be too strong of a word'

Other times we just say like 'I like you a whole lot', but we both know it's not just a normal 'crush' kinda of like.
Do you understand what I mean?

I`m on my period. I was just in the shower and I saw all the blood coming out. Now I feel really dizzy, my neck hurts badly, and I feel like I`m going to pass out. I have a major cramp and I also feel like I`m going to throw up. We don't have any Midol and I`m home alone so my mom can`t get me any. What should I Do?

Yeah I get major bad cramps like this. Just relax and get a wet hand towel for your forehead when you sweat, put a pillow down near your lower stomach, and put on two pads. Turn on the television volume low, or some music and just relax. If your mom has a cell phone, call her and ask her if she can pick up some stuff to help the cramps.

I'm writing an essay on who inspires me and I'm doing my grandma when i said "grandma" in the essay would it be capital? For example My grandma...Captil or not?

"Grandma, may I have some soup?" When you use it like that and just say it alone, then it is capitalized.
"My grandma has big feet," If you use it like this, then it's lowecause and the my is capatalized.

OK well im a 13/f and when I was little and still now if like i do somthing "bad"..or i get my dad mad...he'll like hit me...and like i dont know if thats really considered abuse..well see this all came up because my friend jessica was tellin us how she stayed out late and her dad got really mad and she called her mom and was like i think dads gunna hit me cuz hes really mad but if he lays a hand on me ill call the cops...so that just got me thinkin to myself...is what my dad does considered abuse or just a way of him "punishing" me. And he doesnt just like "spank" me he usually uses a hard stick and hits me a few times and ive gotten a couple of bruises

Become friends with him first. Then, write him a note or ask for his phone number and call him on the phone. It will help you from seeing his face, and making you feel nervous because of seeing his facial expression. If you're really comfortable around him, just tell him in person. Do not ask a friend to do it for you, I've seen it done too much (somehow it'll turn into something you didn't say if someone else overhears).
To get over your shyness, just tell yourself, "He's just a person, except a boy. He feels the same way I do, and everyone is shy sometimes," Remember-- there is no need to be nervous. It's not like you're running for President, you have nothing to worry about. If he doesn't have feelings for you, he'll just tell you. Everyone is rejected sometimes, and that's how you get through love and relationships. There will be ups and downs, but you'll get through it.

Everyone has at least something they dont like about them, and most people dont think themselves are attractive (I know I dont). What you have to do is pick out things you like about yourself, and write them down. Whenever you're feeling ugly or not very confident, tell yourself that you're beautiful (even if you dont believe it). God made you, and you're beautiful just the way you are.

I truely like this kid so much. I've known him for 4 years, and he knows I like him and such. Actually, last year in 7th grade, he asked me out. He was smiling although he said he was serious, but I said no because I figured that he was joking (he's that type of person). Than after he asked me out, he started doing weird stuff to me, and requesting I do things to him. For instance I would usually help him with his French homework, and he would ask that I sit on his lap. He would always hold my hand, try to kiss me, etc. Then he started to get worse, like ask me to have sex with him, flash him, go over to his house and in his room...

This year, he acts as none if it happened. He won't mention the slightest thing to me. That doesn't exactly bother me but it's weird. I still like him and it's not that he acknowlages me (because we're still best friends), but he doesn't like me this year like that.

Whoa, this guy sounds a little messed up (no offence). He shouldn't be asking for sex at your age, and if he did to me, I would slap him and call him a jerk. It isn't bad to sit on his lap, hold hands, kiss, etc. but to ask for sex? It seems like he's trying to forget all that happened last year because he doesn't want to go out anymore, or maybe he was embaressed about the way he acted. Ask him what's going on, and why he's acting the way he is.

I am going out with this boy and we really "love" each other, but he is really shy. He can barely hug me without laughing. He is really cute and sweet, but feel guilty because his friends make fun of him. I don't know what to do, i want to kiss him on the cheek on monday, i know that he would be cool with it, but then his friends would never let him down for it. What should I do? I feel soooo stupid.

Take it slow if his friends are immature and he's shy. If he's that shy and embaressed to even hug you, then in my opinion, he's not exactly ready for affection in a relationship, and that's okay. You can just hang out and still be in a relationship, because hugs and kisses come after you trust eachother and can be comfortable around everyone. If he's only being shy because of his friends, the next time they talk to you, tell them to shove it.
