OnlyTheRightAnswers answered Saturday November 5 2005, 4:35 pm: Umm...in my experience, it usually helps your breath rather than hurts it. Like if my boyfriend pops some Orbit in his mouth after dinner, his breath smells minty fresh and his kisses taste minty fresh too. :) It's much better than having dinner on his breath, I swear. RockStoleMySoul answered Saturday November 5 2005, 3:32 pm: Like some of the girls stated, it does depend on how much sugar is in it. Sugar and even breath mints just hide the scent, but if the sugar stays on your tongue long enough, it can cause your breath to stink, so just as long as you brush, don't worry about it. thinkpink03 answered Saturday November 5 2005, 1:42 pm: sorta true. it depends on the type of gum. ex: if you got mint gum it would obviously make your breath smell better...but if you got poop flavored gum =) it would make it smell bad. B0TT0M LINE :just depends on the brand and scent.
emster812 answered Saturday November 5 2005, 1:27 pm: Some gum does make your breath smell. If it's not Mint flavored or Winterfresh Mint (same thing lol) then your breath will stink... a lot. IREFO! E! [ emster812's advice column | Ask emster812 A Question ]
mystical_breeze answered Saturday November 5 2005, 1:03 pm: Mint gum is made to make your breath smell good, but a type of gum that doesn't smell good WILL make your breath stink lol 'cause it might smell bad. But mint gum and stuff is made to make your breath smell good and sometimes you can buy a kind that will whiten your teeth. I've never heard of someone's breath smelling bad from gum, unless you don't like the smell or taste of mint. [ mystical_breeze's advice column | Ask mystical_breeze A Question ]
