My friend was in your shoes her frosh year... i randomly met her & we became best friends because we had similar interests. Frosh year there are a lot of new people so everyone's looking for friends. get involved and you'll meet people, i promise. Hey, im starting to think that ripped jeans are going out of style. I know that they were real big last fall/winter season, but what about this upcoming one? Will people be wearing them? The reason why im asking is because im looking to get some. I looked on hollister, abercrombie, and american eagle, and all the jeans arent ripped. I dont want little rips either, i wanted sort of big ones and a lot of them. I dont really want to rip them myself unless i absolutely have to. So im guess im asking if there still in style/gonna be in style and where could i get them cause i already looked and had no luck. Thanks.

I noticed that too. in the past couple months i've only seen like 3 people with big rips in their jeans. i wouldn't go out of my way to buy them with rips if i were you... i don't think they're gonna stay in style much longer. buuttt if you like them, wear them. you could go to a hollister or a&f outlet with stuf from past seasons to get the rips.

I'm starting high school this year, I'm curious to know how much pressure there is to drink, smoke, and have sex. I know some of my good friends that have changed alot, but I also know tons of kids that haven't changed a bit! I have strong goals, I don't drink or smoke however I have taken part of sexual activity. Any tips to staying strong in high school? Most of my friends have drank or smoke, but none of them have pressured me. (its usually an if-you-want-to type of thing) Should I expect that to change alot?

There's really no pressure. I mean i'm sure there are people that have been but once you say nah, i don't smoke/drink, people will just kinda turn away... more for them! a lot of people will start but don't freak out or turn your back on them... most people go through phases and whatnot. tips: don't go to parties that are centered around drinking. i mean by all means gooo to parties but if you know that one is JUST drinking (which people might not invite you to anayway since you don't drink) avoid it. don't go around "bragging" like "i have never and will never drink" so you'll be cool with people... but if they ask, just say no. it's easier than you think. if you need anything else, let me know.

I wear a 34A bra, and my breasts are just too small for the rest of my body. I wear padded bras, but I've only found one kind that fits me right.

What I need is this:
1) Bra that has a lot of padding that looks smooth and natural on the outside of my shirt.
2) Bra that has some push up so give me cleavage while making my breasts look bigger all around for low cut tops.

I'd really prefer to hear from girls who have USED the bra before and approve of it...not just guesses. Brand names would be great...but links would be even better.

My boyfriend is like a "nerd". It's hard to to explain why, but believe me, he is.

why is he like that? he grew up. a year during those years is like 5 years of growth all in one if that makes sense. he's maturing... getting new feelings so a year ago with your friend, he mighta been shy and maybe not into girls as much but now he wants to explore.
to prevent future "omg i can't say no" moments, tell him how far you want to go. tell him "i only want to make out for now... i'll let you know if that changes later on" and he should respect that and you won't be shocked with any "new" things. if you need anything else, let me know.

it's wise to bring a bottle of water
wear shoes you can walk in
bring money for lunch
you might need more than one lock if you have a gym locker
get all your info on the first day... write everything down that you need and go shopping that night.
cell phones... they're good to have.
bring a friendly attitude. wearing headphones all the time will not make you seem approachable.

this is sort of stupid, but i have really small boobs, and im 5"1'. Im 13. okay..well...i don't even wear a cup size i just wear those sports bra things. Well, i want my boobs to look bigger and i want some cleavage..not a slut or anything. But i cant buy a push-up bra..or anything like that. I've pushed my boobs together, and it shows cleavage. What should i do?

go to the girl's section in kohls... they have bras that are underwire and have a little bit of padding to make you look slightly bigger (since most sports bras minimize). no need for push ups... just something supportive. if you need anything else, just ask.

i think someone just wants to be mad. capitalization isn't that big of a deal. i can see someone being mad over horrible grammar and choppy sentences but capitalization is expecting too much out of people that are online. i rarely capitalize things online because i'm lazy or in a rush but i do try to proofread. just ignore it and if you have poor grammar, fix it, no biggie.

what do you think of sophomore year? i heard its harder than the freshman year whats the diffrence between freshman year and sophomore year? which one do you think it was better?

I had a much better year sophomore year. my schedule was packed frosh year & i was always so stressed and ended up not doing so great so i thought sophomore year was easier but i guess it varies for everyone.
