what does he want?

Question Posted Wednesday June 27 2007, 12:47 am

me 16/f
him 16/f
ok so i have a guy friend and we're not best friends but i think he likes me.these are the things he does.
-hugs me randomly
-challenges me at sports
-pulled me onto his lap in a hot tub
-compliments me
-teases me a little
and when i flirt he flirts back but when we were talking in a small group of our friends he says he's enjoying the freedom of not being in a relationship. he's been in an on again off again relationship for a year.

so does he like me or am i just a summer flirt buddy?

He sounds like a summer flirt buddy. Lol.
It sounds like he does like you..But maybe he's enjoying the freedom from his last finally-official break-up.

Just give it some time, maybe he'll grow to like you more and will be ready for another relationship. Until then, keep flirtin' ;) And since you aint in a relationship, FLIRRTT WIT DEM OTHER BOYS. ;D Bahaha.

Anyways, just let it progress.
On the same hand, guys can and do have a tendency to lead girls on when they don't want shit.

he likes you... but he doesn't want a relationship. basically he wants to just hook up with you, have some fun but not have to be tied down. typical summer boy. <3

He likes you and he wants you around but he just probably want to get to know you really well before he jump in a relationship with you. Don't rush it. Especially if your the only girl he treats this way.

Well, everyone sometimes enjoys the freedom of single life, but it doesnt mean that they would pass up a chance at a great relationship for it.On the other hand,he might just like flirting alot and being that your a good friend, it makes you to be the more "comfortable" person to flirt with and such. What you should do is keep up the flirting and suggest hanging out just the two of you.Something very casual like movies. Then go get some pizza or something, see if theres chemistry outside the circle of friends. And if he keeps flirting, then you should assume its probably not a social thing, more like hes really interested.Make sure you are too,and take it from there
good luck =]

It seems like he has a little thing for you but don't get too excited because guys are just like that. They'll completely flirt with you and lead you and then tell you that they're not interested. But this might not be the case! Maybe he is into you, but remember you might loose that friendship you two have going on. :] I think you should make a move and see if he goes for it.
