My ex boyfriend (I'll call him L)and I went out for a month last year, and broke up becuz we were just acting like friends (it was our first relationship). Anyway, we are a rare case, because we just got ridiculously closer and its exactly a year today that we were together; we talk everyday, and he is almost like my best friend, only more. Anyway, i never completely got over him. I honestly love him. Not in love, but i do love him so much. We connect in a way that I never have with anyone. And i know he loves me too, we make a cute couple and balance each other well, but two months ago, i told him that i still had feelings for him and he told that we should just be friends. Anyway, my guy best friend's good friend J likes me alot, and I am attracted to him,but I cant see myself with him, because I still like the other guy. So, last night, I asked L for advice on what to do: whether I should give J a chance or not (because he is the only one who could give me a true answer). And he gave the sweetest advice, that if I saw myself with him than I should give him a chance, but if I cant than maybe I shouldnt. I told him that he (L) would be fifth wheel if I went with J (becasue my guybest friend, his girlfriend, me and L...and now J hang out alot). And he told me not to worry about him, and be selfish for once. Then he quietly asked if I liked someone else, why i was so unsure about J...and I didnt want to answer(because of course I like him). There is nothing wrong with J,but I love L, and I want us to have another chance. We are perfect for each other. We are always flirting with each other, and i love the way he talks to me. He said I brighten his day. Should I give J a chance, or try to give it one try with L again (mind you, he might not even want to try it again.) I want L to know that I do love him. I just dont want to get rejected again. But I dont think I can be with J unless..

L is telling you to go for it and I would. I mean, you guys tried it once [a relationship] and it didn't work out, you guys seem better as friends, and I agree with the advice below me, did you ever get the feeling that he could be, well, into guys? Not that there is anything wrong with that, but J would be the safer bet. L seems nice and sweet, but friend material is more of his thing with you, I can tell.
However, if things don't work out with J, L will always have his arms wide open for comfort and who knows [if he's not gay] you might BOTH find your way back to one another.

The basic rules are...
THE COURT - Tennis should be played on a court that is built to certain specifications. The court should be 78 feet long. For a singles match, the court should be 27 feet in width, and for doubles matches, the court's width should be 36 feet. The net should be composed of a net with a cord of metal cable supporting it at a height of 3 and a half feet. Service lines should be placed 21 feet from each side of the net, designating the area in which serving should be performed.
THE RACKET - The rackets used in tennis should only have one pair of crisscrossing strings. Vibration dampening devices are allowed on the rackets, but they can only be placed outside of the strings. No devices that incorporate batteries to help your play are allowed.
THE SCORING - Tennis is a unique game in that it has special names given to the various points awarded. When calling out the score, the person serving the ball should always say their score first. A score of zero is called out by saying ‘Love', and from there, the points go to 15, 30, 40, and game. If both players get a score of 40, the game must become a tie-breaker, and a 40-40 score is announced by saying ‘Deuce'. In a ‘Deuce' situation, if a player gets a point, they are said to have ‘Advantage'. If a player with an ‘Advantage' gets another point, the game is over. If a player gets a point while the other has ‘Advantage', the score is reset to ‘Deuce'. When a game is won, another game is begun until someone gets the best of 7 games. One catch is that they must win by two. If, at the end of 7 games, a player is up 4 to 3, another match must be held as winning by two is necessary. If a player takes the best of 7 games, winning by 2, they are said to have won the match.

you shouldnt ask questions about homework. its called homework because YOU have to do it, preferebely at home. obviousely the internet is a reliable resource for information, but asking people to do your work is not. and the drug YOU SHOULD be thinking of begins in H. there...not that hard is it? now you just gotta work out the next 5 letters. :)

does it matter how you exercise/what you do or the fact that you exercise?
since its winter its still freezing out and i dont want to get a gym membership bc those never work out. indoors, videos get boring fast.
i was wondering if it were possible to loose weight if i just did jumping jacks and jumped rope for an hour each day? i heard 5 mins of rope is like running for half an hour. (link)

excercise is basically anything that gets the heart beating faster. So walking or sex is a form of excercise i think. so yeah, that would be pretty good cardio excercise. good luck with it :)

you can, if two doctors say that you have a good enough reason, under the abortion act. they will try to persuade you to tell your parents, but will still do it if you decide not to let you parents know- aslong as the doctor doesnt have any moral issues with it. if they do, they can refer you to someone who can do it.

I don't know where to start....My mom has this so called boyfriend for seven to eight years. I hate him!! He is soo moody!! He'll be nice and then he gets fricken crabby. Once he yelled at me for not liking strawberry juice and not finishing it. Then after I got out of the shower last night I was drying my hair when I stopped he was yelling my name so I go down and it was the telephone so I went to the regular phone then he yelled at me because it was his cellphone!! All these things made me cry!! Then sometime when hes nice which is once a month, I walk by him he'll spank my butt or put me on the couch and tickle me! I don't feel comfortable when he does this. Sometime he'll grab me by the private and put me over his shoulder and carry me around. I hate that! Then when we are fighting in the nice way I feel like he's putting me in sex positions. I tell my mom for him to stop but he keeps doing this! I want to move to my grandma who hates him too but I don't want to leave my mom. If I do move out this would be the second child who moved out to grandmas because of him. My family is not a big fan of him! This is so confusing to me!!Help!! Please!

You have to do what makes you comfortable, and if that means escaping your mom's boyriend and moving to your grandma's house, then so be it.
No one should be in that kind of position where they feel uncomfortable, confused, hurt, awkward, and pressured. Get out while you can and make the right decision, maybe your mom will come to her senses someday, but right now you can't be her keeper by sticking around and being in a situation that you hate.

So i have this guy friend and two days ago he asked me if i wanted to hang out after school. I thought he meant with him and some friends so i said sure but it turned out he just meant me and him. i didn't think too much about it at the time because we were good friends. so we went to the movies and he insisted on paying even though i offered to pay for myself. afterwards though i started thinking about it and got confused. it was the first time we hung out out of school alone. does it sound like he is interested in me as more than a friend and he meant ''hang out'' as "go out"? There's a guy that I'm growing 'attached' to, and we talk in the halls, joke around, around each other all the time, ect. I asked one of the StuCo people whether the dance was sadie hawkins style, or traditional [boys ask girls]. They said it could be both.
