Is it normal for sunburns to itch? I was just wondering because I got burnt on my lower back, my upper arms, and my chest, and lately they've been itchin a whole lot. Last night I had to take benadryl (sp?) just to fall asleep, also I think I burnt my thighs too because they itch like mad.
Do you think the sunburn in the reason that I'm so friggin itchy? If not, what do you think is? And either way, how can I stop the itching???? Or is benadryl (sp?) the only way.

Yes sun sunburn itches its normal.. in a couple days you'll probably begin to peal.. and it'll turn into a tan.. ummmm i use this stuff called soloarcaine it helps the burn not hurt so bad or itch real bad.. if you can get any of that then get some type of lotion and rub it on it.. ♥ Dez
