Ok I have been trying to convince my parents in getting me a cell phone with minutes..not a plan. but they wont let me! how do I convince them into let me get one! I have saved up 100$ to by the phone I want..Tell me if this is or isnt a fair deal w/ my parents they buy the phone which is 150$ and then I pay for all the other stuff like the 40$ minute cards? is that fair or unfair??? please help me I M 14 and I reallllly want one..and I need one too!!!

put 100$ down on an actual cell phone plan with cingular or something theyll give you the phone for free and the 100 should give you 3 months or so of a smaller plan. other than that there really isnt much else you can do

well he has to pay you child support so money shouldnt be too big of a problem. id still suggest trying to work it out with your paretns if at al possible, but they still ahve to take care of you until your 18

A few days ago the guy I used to like asked me out... of course I said yes. Last night his friend dumped me for him. Later that night the same friend imed me saying how sry they are that they would do that to me. At first i was confused on what happened, but as they kept talking to me a realized that it was a joke. They made a bet that if i went out with him for a few days he would get money. I'm not mad b/c i still like him (now i hate him), I'm mad at them b/c they were my close friends and they thought it was ok to do something like that. The thing is, is that i'm not sure if i should forgive them, they were my friends and i know i might be sry if i never talk to them again.

On tuesday, my boyfriend broke up with me. I was really upset and then today I met up with some friends and he was there. We all decided to go back to my house and my ex and I were flirting quite alot. Then, one of our friends said: "Look, you both obviously fancy each other, go back out." So my ex asked me out and I said yes. The thing is, do you think it is worth giving it another try? i dumped my boyfriend because he lied to me about doing drugs. Everyone told me he was bad news and all my guy friends who were his friends too told me i deserved way better then him. I still wanted proff and i got it on the night b4 homecomming.i dumped him after i saw him smoking weed with some other guy. its been over a month since that night i caught him and broke up, but just the other day he randomly asked me y i broke up with him, i tried to explain telling him how he lied, but he didnt see that as a good enough reason. did i do the right thing? that really depends. if you talked to him about it and something along the lines of "I have a really big problem with drugs i dont think i could even be friends with someone who smoked weed" then yes you did the right thing. other than that im gonna have to say you didnt. im not going to say that there is nothing wrong with drugs, but they arent as horrible as people make them out to me. well actualy most are but marijuan isnt. now that too depends, if he was smoking every day then yes it is a bad thing but its still something you should have talked to him about. if he was just smoking every once in a while then i dont really see a problem with it. but the one thing you definitely should have done is told him why you broke up with him, that is something you should do no matter how horrible it is. He most likely has no idea that you saw him smoking and doesnt know why the two of you broke up. you also dont know that he wasnt lying to you, peer pressure is hard to resist maybe he hadnt been smoking theentire time the two of were going and just succuumed that one time.

How can you tell the difference from when a guy just wants to be your friend, or whether he wants more? There is this guy at my school, and he and I are friends, but not GREAT friends or anything. We don't hang out after school or anything. Sometimes in the halls he will catch up to me and start talking to me. And sometimes he will start singing a song with my name in it. Like for example, he will sing Batman, but instead of saying "dananananananana BATMAAAN" he will sing "dananananananana CATHYYY!" (Cathy is my name.) I know that he has a lot of other friends that are girls too, so I can't tell whether he just wants to be friends with me, or whether he likes me more than a friend. Help? (link)
