Hey guyz i have acne on the top of my arm and it is spreading down...what do i do..besides going to a dermatologist(i dont like ours) is there like any kind of stuff at walmart or sumtim?? plz help!
I've heard of things specifically for that, but I've never seen them. I used to have the same problem, and found a few things that helped. Scrub the area really good when you're in the shower, every day. Once your skin is dry, use a stridex pad everywhere that you break out. Try different products made for your face on the area to find what works best for you.

okay im going to the gyno to get on birth control pills! now will they be able to tell if you are pregnant or do you like have to ask for a test. im pretty sure im not pregnant so i wont ask i just want to know????

Usually, if you haven't been on birth control, they give you a urine pregnancy test as part of the routine, without you even asking for it. To be on the safe side, as your gyno if they will be giving you a pregnancy test. If not, you can always ask for one.

ok so i just started using tampons and like when i put on in it feels like it falling out does that mean its not in all the way or is that just how it feels??

When a tampon is all the way in, you shouldn't be able to feel it at all. Start with the smallest size tampon you can find, because a tampon that is way too big won't fit right. Push it in until it doesn't go any farther. If you use tampons with applicators, use your finger after to push a little more to make sure it is all the way in.

my puppy keeps biting people! he's a two year old doberman pincher, and he's absolutely adorable! but he has this problem with biting. he's made all my friends terrified of him, and the elderly lady across the street had to have stitches (which i had to pay for) when brownie bit her face. (just her cheek) i love him to death, and he hasn't bitten me since he was 6 months old, but i don't know if i should keep him if he's going to attack everyone he meets!

I live in Florida, too, straight across from you on the opposite coast. When my friends and I are bored with the mall, we play pool, go bowling, go to the arcade, go to the beach, drive around, go to the movies, rent a movie, play video games, play poker, dominoes, or monopoly, have a "girl's night" with nails and facials, eat junk food and talk, bake from scratch, go to Taco Bell, go swimming, play tennis...
Any of that sound appealing?

My sister has been smoking for over 6 months. She's only 16. I live with my mom and my sister so out of us three I'm the only one who doesn't smoke. I hate second hand smoke and how they don't even care enough to smoke outside. I've asked them numerous times to smoke somewhere else but they tell me to deal with it. My other sister who is 27 comes over with her boyfriend and they also smoke. My brother and I are the only ones who don't smoke but he doesn't even live here. I get so mad and my sister and I get into fights over this. What should I do? They don't think I have any right to be mad or anything and it's just not fair.
You are completely right. Make sure that they know that second hand smoke can give you cancer, and that they could be killing you. Find some pamphelts or something to print out of the internet to back yourself up. If they want to smoke, it is really gross and bad for them, but it's up to them. However, smoking inside where you live is horrible! I hope they listen to you!

What are the tell tale signs that some one is cheating on you?
Look for changes in habit. Dressing different, wearing more or difference fragrance, showing a new concern for appearance. Also, watch for a new vagueness when you ask where they've been, what they're doing later, etc. Another thing is that if you went out a lot with this person, and suddenly you don't as much, or they suddenly don't have much money or any desire to be out with you.

All around my breasts and on them its all red and REALLY itchy they're little rash lumps aswell. It has just happened when i wore my new white bra but the thing is I have the same bra but in black and it didnt do this?!!? The bra is 100% cottonn and it dont itch with anything else. Why am i itching and how can i make it stop and go away! I tried Eurax fast itching cream but it didnt work please help thanks x
Did you wash it first? I always break out like that if I don't wash new clothes before I wear them. It should go away pretty soon. Put some anti-itch cream on it, Aveeno works good. It'll go away on it's own pretty quick.

Ok, i'm 15 years old and i've had my period for about two years. It's VERY irregular. I'll skip two months and then get it, and crazy stuff like that. It's never the same time of the month either.. not that i can really remember since there is so much time between periods. I'm 5'6 and i weigh 105. I'm skinny and some websites say im underweight and to go to a doctor. I eat though! I just have a fast metabolism and exercise. Do you think it's because of my weight? Does that sound unhealthy? Why is my period SO irregular STILL after two years? haha thanks.
I got my period when I was 13, and it was very irregular until I got on birth control...5 years later. Mine had no pattern at all. I'd be without it for 2 weeks to 3 months. And then I would have it for 2 to 20 days. Like I say, nothing fixed it until I got on birth control.

i was wondering if VEET bladless shaving actually works?? and if so how long do your legs stay smooth?
It works great for me. You have to spread it on pretty thick though. If you smooth it on really thin, it won't take the hair off. I leave it on for 5 minutes. When I shave, I have to shave every day, but Veet lasts about 5 days for me.

recently my friend and I have been stealing a lot. it's like every store we go to, we almost always steal atleast 1 thing. we steal simple things, like make up, food, skin care products... when she first told me that she stole things with her friend a few months ago, I laughed at the idea and I couldn't believe they were so.. bad. but when I saw them in action, I realized how easy it was. I only steal when I'm with that friend, and even though now I'm better than her at doin it, I still feel extreme guilt sometimes. she doesn't feel any regrets at all. I kno I should stop, but I just wanna kno if any of you have stolen things and have gotten caught doing it, and what were the concequences. I will stop eventually... but it's really fun and easy. if my parents even found out, they would literally disown me
You can get fined a lot of money. Even if the thing you stole was worth less than a dollar, you can be fined several hundred dollars. Stealing little things is a misdemeanor, so you can also get jail time (or juvenile hall time).

This is really embarrasing but...
"Down there" i think has a bad odor (i'm a girl)
Is there anything I can do to stop this? I heard certain foods can make it smell bad, is that true and which ones? Also, is there anything i can put on it or in it or something to make it smell better?
Try a little spritz of FDS. It is usually in cans around the pads and tampons. I don't recommend douching, because it can dry and iritate your lining. Also, most of what you smell does not come from the area that would be douched, but rather from outer areas. A "musky" smell is perfectly normal.
And yes, it can be affected by eating, drinking, and smoking. Stronger smells are caused by lots of meat, garlic, spicy foods, onions, and alcohol. Also, smoking tobacco or marijuana is said to increase odors. Often birth control, especially the pill, will actually reduce smells. Drinking lots of water and eating fruit is supposed to reduce smell.
Other tips: wear only cotton underwear. Wash and dry "down there" well, every day, being sure to get into the folds. If you're really sensitive about the smell, carry unscented moist wipes in your purse, and use them every time you take a trip to the bathroom.

i have a blister on my toe (1st toe) and it hurts. is there any way possible i can make it so it won't hurt?
Take a sharp, sterile needle a make a tiny hole in one side of the blister. Don't make the hole in the middle. Once the blister is empty, leave the skin covering it, and place a bandage over it. This is the fastest way to heal blisters.

i need help. every day i have a feeling that gradually wells up like a knot in my chest of hopelessness, desperation and panic. the only thing i can do to get rid of the feeling is to cut and feel as much pain as i can. one day someone will find my scars and it makes me sick that i do this. i have no other way out. i want to die.
The way you describe it, it sounds like you legitimately have a chemical imbalance. Get an appointment with a doctor, or with a psychologist. If your living with your parents and they won't help you, talk to a school counselor or trusted teacher. Remember that you don't have to go through it alone, and that there are people to help you.
For a few years I had the same horrible feeling. I never got help, and I lived through it, and it is gone now. But I wish so much that I had gotten help.
You sound like you are a good person, and like you don't deserve to be going through this. I hope things are better soon.

I'm 16...I recently applied for a part time job at tescos, my local store is recruiting because they're extending the store. It would be handy to work there because it's fairly close to where I live and it's a big store and the kind of working environment I'd prefer... anyway my friend also applied there at the same time as me and her application got accepted and she now has a place there. I got rejected :( I know she had very open hours written on my form whereas I cut off weekend evenings and some weekday evenings (which when I applied I couldn't actually work because I had other commitments) but now my weekend evenings are free and I was wondering if it would be wise to reapply? Or should I just find somewhere else? I would really like to get a part time job here but do you think they might have my name listed somewhere and... boot me off or something lol... I reckon my hours are the reason my application was rejected. There was also some questionaire thing that could have been the problem but I'm confussed, should I go back to the recruitment office and explain to them my hours are better would it be possible for me to reapply or just reapply or leave it?

Normally you want to wait several months before you reapply for job. But since you have a good reason to reapply, you might want to consider it. If there is an "applicant's comments" box or something like that on the application, be sure to note that you applied before, but you have new opportunities to work available, and you'd like them to consider your application again.

Cut out sugar. Sugars tend to great straight to your stomach area. (That's why people get beer bellies!) Other than that, do crunches for your upper tummy, leg lifts for your lower tummy, and side leg lifts and side crunches for the sides of your tummy.
After you get to a good weight, slowly add a little bit of sugar back in, because a little bit is good for you, and you don't want to go too long without it.

I just got out of 9th grade and my mother still will barely let me do anything. She won't let me go to the beach unless there's an adult there. I can't go anywhere with anyone unless she meets their parents first. She flips out when guys call. I wouldn't care so much but a lot of times a miss out on doing fun stuff because no one elses parents chaperone, they just drop their kids off places, and then I'm not allowed to go. Forget parties, because there are no parents she can confirm with that i'll be safe and not drinking or doing drugs. Does she expect me to never do anything in highschool? She doesn't trust my judgement, and doesn't understand that I won't make the same mistakes she did. I'm tempted to start lying 2 her and sneaking around so that I'm not stuck at home all weekend doing nothing. Soon my friends are going to be able to drive and she says I can't ride in their cars. I'm going to have a lot of boring weekends! How do I show her that I'm responsible so that I can go places? What can I say to her that will help her let go a little and not be so protective?
I don't recommend sneaking out. If you get caught, it will just make your mom even more overprotective.
I understand some of the things from your mom's side, and some from yours. Riding in your friend's cars might be an insurance issue. If you don't have the right type of insurance, and you're injured in an accident in one of their cars, your mom might have to foot the bill.
However, your mom should let you have at least a few more freedoms. Talk to her seriously, and let her know that you would like an opportunity to show her that you are responsible and that you have good judgment. Ask her for some things that you can do to show her that you can make good decisions. Something like meeting one friend at the beach for an hour or so, and coming home exactly on time, or something like that. When she does start giving you responsibilties, be sure to follow her directions to the letter. It may be annoying to always leave before the fun is over, or always call and let her know where you are, but it's the only way to show her that you are serious.
I'll tell you something that worked with my mom. (My mom is a little strange, so this might not apply to your mom.) The first few times I met friends at the mall, my mom actually went with us. After three or four times of hanging out with us and seeing what we did, she was way more comfortable to let us go alone. My friends were totally understanding about it. At first I had to call and check in several times, but eventually she let that go, too.
