I smoke marijuana and cigarettes, and I'm about to get on birth control.
I know that smoking on birth control is bad, and it increases risks of heart attack, I'm 16 years old btw. I was just wondering does it change the effectiveness of birth control. Like will it not work as well if I smoke while I'm on it. (link)

there's this girl in my 5th period class (right after lunch) and she always walks in class like 10 mins or so late...Every day!! she smells really bad either like smoke or weed. i hate the smell of drugs. and she sits right next to me..i always spray my body spray towards her without being obvious but it only helps for like a minute. i dont wanna ask to move because my teacher will wonder why, and i dont wanna tell on her..it could be that she just hangs around smokers idk, but i honestly think she smokes. i dont wanna get her in trouble but i cant stand the smell! what to do?!! thanks! Wear a pad on the way to the swim meet, or before you get in the water, and then take it out, because when you're in the water your blood stops its "flow" but if you really, really need to, wear a panty liner in your bathing suit and jump in :]

A while a go, MTV said that New Harbor will no longer be aired, but my friend's say that MTV may put one or two more episodes on, a finale or something, but I'm 99.9% sure the show is no longer existing to say the least.

I've always dealt with severe acne on my face, but my body has always been smooth and baby soft. All of a sudden I have a huge outbreak of body acne! It's horrible! On my arms, shoulders, back, and completely covering my chest.

Hey wuts up?? well, i'm 15/f. Our school takes a trip every summer, and anyone who wants to go can go. Well for NEXT summer (2009), they are going to Ireland. I've alwaysssss wanted to go to Ireland. So my parents and I talked about it, and they said I could go, and I'm sooooo excited! But, there are a few things I want to know about Ireland, that I don't know. 1st thing, what kind of food do they eat?? Cause I'm pretty picky.. I've tried to google it, but I'm not findig very many good sites. The trip is a 12 day trip, so hopefully there are different things I can eat that can last me for 12 days.. haha. Anyways, 1 of the days, we get to go shopping. Now I love to shop, it's like my favorite thing ever to do!! :) hehe. Well, what kinda shopping do they have there? I'm I irish so I think I can help. Pretty much all we eat is meat, potato, and beer but there is more stuff those are just the main "food groups" haha. With shopping they have diffrent stuff...REALLY diffrent stuff. I hope I helped, Good luck.

You probably didn't say or do anything wrong since he was openly flirting with you first, it is probably just awkward since you were both flirting a lot? The only way you can make this better is by talking to him, go up and have a conversation, and if you want, muster up your confidence and ask him what's up, and if you did anything wrong [which you obvioulsy didn't] but if you want answers, he's the one who can give them to you, yuh know?

My best friend Maria and Juan broke up about a month ago. They went out for about a month, but were very, very close. They had sex, everything.
Maria and I have another friend, Carina.
Well, Juan, Carina, and I are all in this play. Today I find out Juan and Carina like each other. Carina needs my advice because she knows its wrong.
So this is two questions:
1) is it wrong for me not to be telling Maria what is going on?
2) what is the best thing for Carina to do?

If Carina asked you not to tell Maria what is going on, than you are doing nothing wrong. It's none of her business anyways, Carina is obviouly telling you this in confidence and she would have said this all for Maria to hear, but she didn't, so keeping this from Maria is nothing to worry about.
On the other hand, Carina needs to be herself. if she likes Juan and Juan likes her, and he truly makes her happy, than she should be able to date him. She doesnt need Maria's or anyone elses permission, if she likes him, than tell her to go for it. Juan belongs to no one, he is not Maria's property, Carina has a right to date whomever she pleases.
