umm you just bleed i guess............just like a regular period unsteed of peeing yellow you pee blood.

you will know. you will mostlikely bleed on your underwear. your first period will be brownish though. keep that in mind.

When you get your period, you would have blood on the inside of your underwear and it may be brown if you didn't bleed a lot or heavily. [dry blood]
Did you have any of these symptoms:
-cramps
-bloating
-back ache
-bleeding
-moodiness

you'll probably start getting cramps which can either be extemely painful; or not so painful around your bladder area. You'll get this brown looking discharge in your underwear and that's how you deffently know. ;] hope i helped.
